Good morning everyone.
I like those cute kitties Nan2
Dull and wet here too.
Today we plan to look round a couple of shops. I like to get cards, wrap and crackers at this time of year.
I want to see the new Eddy Redmayne film, and go out for tea. Oh, and finish my story for Story Corner!
I hope everyone has a good Saturday.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hi all working weekend for me, decs will come down tomorrow though and packed away. When we went to my eldest sisters new home on New Years eve we were all admiring her lovely slim Christmas tree.Asked her where she bought it as although it's 6 foot tall its very slim and pretty, she bought it at the range. But on doing a search today good old Tesco had one in their sale exactly the same for £10, so ordered 1 before they went. We have a 7 foot tree and even though we have a large lounge it really dominates the room . This evening is catch up time with some programmes we have missed over Christmas and New Year."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

It rained heavily here overnight and still at it this morning. We had to go over to West Parley as part of the dog adoption process, even though we already have Eva. It was so sad to see beautiful dogs just longing for a good home! I hope at least some of them were successful.
This afternoon I took Eva for a good long walk in the Forest - everywhere is under water though, and at one stage we had to paddle through flood water which Eva thought was wonderful!
The decorations will have to come down tomorrow, and I might even wash the paw marks off the kitchen floor! I wish Oma lived next door - she's have a great time here!
I've got an 'extra' day on Monday as I don't have to have GD2, but it will give me time to get ready for visitors arriving on Wednesday for a couple of days.

Good morning everyone.
You are all taking your decorations down!
Ours will come down on Wednesday, although I may start taking them down on Tuesday, leaving the trees and outdoor lights for Wednesday.
Nothing planned today, apart from seeing my mum this afternoon. I' m making a shepherd's pie for tea and one to freeze.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning everyone. What a wet, miserable day it is - it isn't even properly light here!
Gem - it's too wet to take down our outdoor lights today - they'll have to wait for the rain to stop.
