Went up to town for my last work meetings today, well I think they are my last, I have nothing in the diary for next week so I can clear all my secondment paperwork out and get some other things done. I was at St Pancras station where there are loads of coffee shops to meet people in. So many groups of rather inebriated people (mostly blokes) in Christmas jumpers and that was at 10.30am when I was waiting for my first meeting!

Then when I was talking to my first guest there was a bit of a kerfuffle. Can you believe that some idiot, in this day and age, with all that is going on around us, left his two rucksacks in the middle of the concourse unattended while he went to the toilet???? They must have been there for a while as there are only two toilet blocks on that stretch and there are always queues outside them but the bit where he left the rucksacks is so busy as that is where the Eurostar boards that to be honest, even though I am a bit eagle eyed, I did not notice that they were unattended. The police were starting to move people away when he came back. They were not happy. They absolutely read him the riot act threatened to have him done for wasting police time, told him he was lucky his bags hadn't been destroyed etc. At least he had the grace to be embarrassed.

After lunch I decided to have a Nana nap as I had been up half the night , Dog was in the garden Brian was busy upstairs , I went into a deep sleep it was lovely till Storm decided I had slept enough he jumped on top of me licking my face and bashing his paws on my head I couldn't get him off he thought I was playing so just kept on licking me and shoving his nose in my face and god his breath stinks after he has been eating dog chews , Then once he got me up he promptly laid down and went to sleep 😲 he was there for two hours , If I ever mention getting a dog of my own someone come and give me a good slapping 😀

Glad I got my jobs done early. Hubby went to help son with something, came home with fish and chips plus son and his girlfriend.They stayed until 6oclock, but we did enjoy their company.

We have him Wednesday and Friday Zizi and sometimes in between 😀 we love him really but love when we take him home too , he's so funny but massive now and he's only just over 4 month , we also have him if they go shopping for a few hours , won't have him much till the new year SIL is finished work tomorrow don't really have to have him but can't stand the thought of him being on his own and other grandparents have him couple days a week , he's a very spoilt boy all this attention 😊

A busy day yesterday and our friends round for a meal in the evening. We had a lovely time, lots of laughs and such a nice way to lead into Christmas. Other friends round on Tuesday so a restful day today after tidying up. Although we may venture out for a walk later. Have a good day

We have him Wednesday and Friday Zizi and sometimes in between 😀 we love him really but love when we take him home too , he's so funny but massive now and he's only just over 4 month , we also have him if they go shopping for a few hours , won't have him much till the new year SIL is finished work tomorrow don't really have to have him but can't stand the thought of him being on his own and other grandparents have him couple days a week , he's a very spoilt boy all this attention 😊

He certainly is a spoilt boy!! I suppose also one of the good things, not that I know too much about dogs, is that if he is left alone for too long, being a baby he might chew furniture and stuff.

Good morning everyone.
I woke to some sad news today, which I have posted about on YEO.

We are having GD overnight, she will be here after her ballet class, around midday. Her request is not to go anywhere, but to have a crafts day. I imagine we will watch a DVD or 2 as well. She is madly keen on Strictly Come Dancing, so of course we shall all watch the final tonight, her in her pj's

There has been a white Mercedes sprinter van outside of our house for a week. Hasn't moved an inch, parking is already tight around here with the neighbour having three car household and one of them always being outside. He goes out in one, comes back and hour later and changes vehicle, goes out comes back, backwards and forward, drives us nuts! Anyway I went on the DVLA website and the number plate is not recognised. I tried to report it to the police but they were not interested so I have reported it to the council as an abandoned vehicle. I have put a big note on the windscreen saying it has been reported. Let's see if that gets the damned thing moved!

Been out to do my shop now got to do some of that horrid H stuff. I don't really feel like doing it but I need to get it out of the way.........
