Gem my DS was the Devils child till he was 5 I can't tell you how horrible he could be we despaired of him he was taken into hospital at the age of two and the sister in charge begged the Dr to allow him home as the nurses couldn't cope with him , he turned 5 and became the sweetest little boy and he is so laid back now he's almost horizontal at times , fingers crossed E is just going through a phase 😊

Gem - your GS will learn to control his emotions - honestly, he will. Everybody is staying calm and being consistent and that's the best thing to do.

I think it is probably just a phase he is going through. As Daisy says, if you are all staying calm things will get better.

Sunny here at the moment, we had rain in the night, not sure of the temperature as I haven't poked my nose out yet. Must go shopping later, hope it isn't too busy.

The rain and gales of yesterday have subsided, it's quite a nice morning!
The big clean up is going on for all those affected by the flooding. Neither DD were affected, thank goodness, although both had police knock on the door when the danger was still present. The bridge in DD1s town has been closed for days. She has been doing shopping for a couple of elderly ladies in her street, who are unable to go the long way by car, so were effectively shut off from the shops. My sister lives in Tadcaster, and that bridge collapsed into the river, turning that into a divided town as well!
None of us were harmed and no one was flooded, so we were lucky.

-Tonight is our annual new years eve do. Mulled wine, nibbles, takeaways, games, and friends! I love it, and the best part is being at home, just going to bed once they have all gone 2 of our friends are in New Zealand just now, so there will be 8 of us tonight

Well we finally home it's 2.55pm our appointment was at 9 am . The pharmacy is a waste of space they get a list of patients who are having chemo in time slots the night before yet still almost 2 1/2 hours late making the chemo up ,then 3 members of staff off with this bug going around . Thankfully that's the last till next Thursday when he goes to get Hickman line cleaned . Did have a appointment with the Consultant at 12 but I had to go along to clinic and cancel that made another one for 6 weeks time . Now going to make a cup per and relax 😊

Oh what a pain Oma for both of you,all that hanging around.Glad your home safe and enjoying a nice cuppa. We have been on the annual pilgrimage to BAB. Madam was a bit upset as she had changed her mind about having Arna and set her heart on having a white sparkly Blitzen the reindeer, sadly reindeer season sold out 3 weeks ago. She soon cheered up and chose a my little pony bear + accessories . We have said next year we will treat her earlier so she gets her reindeer, on to the usual Maccy d's for lunch.Must say she was a little star and was good as gold.Now to get ready we are out tonight to a party at my eldest Sisters. Whatever your doing all have a wonderful new years eve.

Hello everyone

We had a good party last night, and finally went to bed at 2.45.
We had be out by about 10.30 this morning to catch OHs niece before she went back down south. She has been staying with her parents, who live 30 minutes drive away from us, over Christmas. They have a new baby who was born a month early, he's 4 weeks old now but tiny. So looks so miniature! His brother is just 2 and a real little cutie. He kept calling me Grandma. OHs SIL is Nanna. I think his daddy's mum is Grandma. She has dark hair too, so maybe that was it
It was good to catch them even though it meant we had to be up earlier than we wished!

Well all my lot gone we had his brother and Mam over too our friends couldn't make it as she has flu so sent two plates of food round via SIL there son ,. Tomorrow the Dec's will comedown and I will scrub house out and clean windows so back to normal , Storm decided to lick the patio windows outside so they need doing too 😕

We enjoyed a very quiet New Year's Eve, just the two of us and I was in bed before midnight. Heard all the fireworks though.

Had a lovely walk on the beach this morning, very windy but really exhilarating . Lots of people about and I enjoyed a nice chat with a lady in her beach hit....I'll talk to anyone

Decorations all packed away for another year. Rosie here for the weekend, and son's partners 8 year old daughter. We have been playing good old fashioned dominoes all afternoon,and they have loved every minute.
Both girls going shopping with us tomorrow. I don't know what is on tv,but I can here the girls and hubby laughing loudly.
