I had a lovely day yesterday.
In the morning OH and I went along early to help set up for my GDs 11am Science Party. Lots of fun was had. After clearing up we and my SILs parents went back to DD2s. We had a lovely afternoon chatting, watching GD open all the party gifts, and playing with her. We all had tea and cheese on toast mid afternoon.
At 6.30 we went to the local Italian restaurant. 15 of us plus the birthday girl. I love my expanding funny family

Had lovely morning with our friends (SIL,s parents) laughed about the fact we all said to DD & SIL not to get a dog and now we are all smitten and always taking him out ☺ Friend is retiring in the next two weeks he was a Fire Chief then retired from there and join the Police as a front desk Sargent but he feels it's time to retire full time so just as well DD & SIL got the dog it will give him something to do while he adjusts to being home all day , Dull out so Brian started on the Christmas puds the smell is wonderful ☺

Kashmer chutney in the jars, made too much, there is only so much chutney a family can eat but it matures with time. So tired cleaning the newly decorated bathroom and kitchen,
if I wasn't sitting down I would fall down. Lovely Autumn morning, rest of the family are out on a walk I am going to crash out in the sun room soon.

I have chopped all the green tomatoes and left them in a pan. I will nip out tomorrow and get the sultanas. Working at home, lots to do, my real life job is starting to kick in which is difficult as I am still seconded. I have made pasta tuna salad for husbands lunch tomorrow (and probably mine too). Not going out to lunch as, to be honest, I cannot be bothered to tart myself up i.e. Get out of my sloppies, do my hair and put some slap on. We will have rack of lamb and vegetables. Done loads of washing as it is a great drying day but I cannot be bothered to do the hand washing. I spent almost an hour wrapping up 23 little gifts for husbands students, it is part of an exercise about payments for delays or something. They are only little notebooks from my store but it takes a while to wrap that many!

Rest of today is going to be lazy. I am going to open a nice bottle of raspberry Cidre now, nicely chilled........

Had a lovely time at the Sculpture Park. We both enjoyed it. Will post some photo's tomorrow,cos Alan's are better than mine.

Went to a pub just a couple of minutes from the park,had a carvery, ooo it was lovely.

I have a free day! I have a busy one tomorrow, and we have OHs op this week. She is golfing this afternoon, so I am going to the cinema! I am going to see the Suffragette film which opens today. I may even book myself VIP seat, with seniordiscount it's about the same as a regular seat.

Qwerty still isnt feeling well shes down in the dumps and fed up with not being on top form , her OH thinks she should go back to Dr and kick up a fuss and i agree with him she needs to get to the bottom of things poor woman
