Good morning everyone, it is dry here but looks like more rain, better forecast for tomorrow.

I have just heard we have no Easter, it is now Spring festival!!! That is why the girls have to go to school today.

Glamm, you will look very smart! A friends SIL used to get iPads etc for them all when working in the USA so I knew they were much cheaper there.

Gem, deaths and funerals are arranged so different here, I think there is a 7 day rule from the death to the funeral. The funeral director arranges everything from start to finish.

Oma, the lady drinks water during the lessons, they are very keen on that, we all have to drink regularly, they have just come back from South Africa and could have got a virus, I will know more when I see her again.

I have been to do coffee and the plants, one of the ladies from the art group is going to help me re-pot the plants next week ready for the party week.

B just dropped a full bottle of Olive oil all over kitchen floor , it has splashed everywhere,
I can’t get down to help so I told him to cover it all with flour to soak it up . He did that then was able to sweep it into a pile and pick it up that way ,
He is now washing the floor , not what he had planned that’s for sure 😱😀

Not sure what the plans are for today, we had a busy day yesterday so having a quiet morning. We go home tomorrow, have to leave the house at 10am having stripped the beds and put all the towels and bedding in a laundry basket. Because of Covid, a day is lost, I wonder if this will change. The next people are not allowed in before 5pm.

Glamm, it sounds as if you will be living up to your name when you go to Aintree.

That break has gone quickly hasn’t it but sounds lovely ,
I have to wait till they book me in but with Bank holiday and Drs strike I’m not sure , if I haven’t heard by next Thursday I will ring them as that will be the two weeks they said ,

Daisy buying a cake to decorate is food idea. DD2 did that for GS2' birthday party last week, adding Pokémon decorations All the parents were in admiration presuming she had made it

Oma, oil is terrible to clean up isn't it?!
The massage did help. I hope to book another for next week. She really got into the deep tissues. It was painful but as I said to her no more painful than the constant pain I have had for 3 weeks now. Things will never be right due to my scoliosis but some more massage will hopefully continue to loosen up the muscles and release the trapped nerve.

We went to DD3 for quick coffee and cuddle with superbaby DD said because they wanted a girl the heavens decided that their wish couldn't be granted so they sent the very best boy available!!
A quiet afternoon for me but my masseuse says I must keep moving so I keep getting up and having a walk around!

Daisy,i always cook braising steak in the slow cooker.
I do enough for a couple of meals.
The one we hd today was cooked a couple of weeks ago. I took it out of the freezer last night.

Weather has been lovely today. We were going to do the garden tomorrow.
With it being such nice weather,we have got it done today.

I have been in bed since I got back from doing coffee, I feel like I have been hit by a bus!!! Everything hurts and I feel sick. It will clear, I hope.

Only supermarket shopping today, then will just go with the flow for the rest of the day.

Hubby has asked for a chicken tikka today, so that will be a ready meal. I'll probably have a cheese omelette.

We need some shopping today so will got to a supermarket. I haven't got baby E, too young for chocolate, anything for Easter. I will look for an outfit while we are out. Otherwise a peaceful day. After 3 consecutive GS days I could do with it!
I am going to choose some photos to print out and display at the after-funeral tea, and compile wording for the vicar.

B made a beef casserole last night , I didn’t eat much as I’m not a lover of beef I really should have had something else ,
The mash and veg were nice though 😀

Its a nice clear morning ,
B wants to go to the Lindt shop so we will have a trip there see how I feel , we can park almost by it so not a lot of walking .

Good morning, I feel a lot better thanks , slept a lot and decided the muscle pain was self inflicted! The kettle bells were too heavy!!!!! My own fault. I have changed the bed and got the washing hung out, it will soon dry.

It is DS2's birthday today. 52 years young.
