Good morning everyone.
Another bank holiday but it makes no difference to most of us here does it?!
Mimi, I'm so sorry to hear things within your family are no better. I do online sale browsing!
I am doing nothing today
Well I may do a little online sale browsing (I got some bargains in the Lakeland sale yesterday) Apart from that it will be catching up with recorded TV mostly. OH will be gone for few hours on the golf course.

Good Tuesday Morning ladies, my days are confused at the minute I feel it is going to be a funny old week remembering where the days have gone.
Mimi I have the same walking on egg shells problem with my two boys they don't speak to each other in fact it was not the boys who fell out it was the wives and the boys backed each others wife what a nightmare I just hate it.
My friend went back home to Liverpool last night her friend came and picked her up she had been staying since last Thursday and helped me enormously packing the gifts into their respective gift bags I didn't do too badly this year with what I had bought I only ended up with 3 x extra men's smelly sets and 4 x pairs of socks I have put them away for up & coming birthday's I end up with extra as I buy throughout the year and forget who I have bought for.
Enjoy the rest of the day my lovely friends I am having a lazy day with DD calling in later today to help me with changing my bedding she is such a good girl as she knows how difficult I find it with such a painful back.
Good Tuesday morning from me. I need reminding what day it is as well!
The sun's shining - a bit watery, but very welcome. We slept in again this morning, and I'm still feeling tired and washed out. No doubt I'll perk up later! We're going over to see GD2 this afternoon - I can't believe she's 9, it doesn't seem 5 minutes since she was a newborn! It feels life is gradually starting up again after the Christmas week-end, and there seems to be very little good news around. Glamm, I imagine your whole community is shocked by that senseless shooting in Wallasey. Awful.
I do feel for those of you whose children or OHs of children have fallen out and don't get on. It makes life very difficult for everyone else, especially our generation.

Sounds like everyone had a lovely Christmas and saw most of their family at some time. We are expecting GD2 and her partner today, they have been in Yorkshire with his family. GD has organised something for all the family on the 29th, not sure what. We haven’t seen much of her recently as she has been travelling around, working with a Producer who is making a film about Coco Chanel which is going to be on BBC next year. My GD2 is quite a live wire, she will be keeping us all on our toes she is like tigger.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Hallo everyone, it isn't a bank holiday here, not that I would notice anyway. It does seem to be colder again, I went to the shops etc and it was a cold wind.
I went to the gym, I was at my physio the other day, he has cleared my vertigo again, no bother at all now. He was saying about muscles and all I do at the gym, he said to try other equipment, it was quiet this morning so I asked the young man about it and he has booked me in tomorrow morning, with another young man, to try other equipment. I am always scared I do too much for my shoulders, knees etc.
I have just ordered some tee shirts, jeans and a jacket out of the sales. Good bargains to be had! (If you need them)!!!
Sorry, after reading the posts I forgot to mention how sad it must be for the ones with "family" problems, I have a friend, she hasn't see her eldest daughter for 5 or 6 years, I don't think this will happen either, she was telling me her youngest daughter is now acting strange, she hardly ever sees her or her children either, what a carry on!
Morning Nanto/Ladies.
Window cleaning is on the agenda today,
DD called with Storm yesterday, he ripped his presents open then went and lay outside. We didn't realise it was raining, he came in shook himself right in front of Patio doors, so they are splattered with dirty rain water
Got to clean them so may as well do the rest while I'm on.
Hope everyone is ok today xx
I was booked into the aquafit class this morning. I was looking forward to it, even though neither of my friends are here to go. Yesterday evening I started with a sore throat. It is worse this morning and I feel a bit 'coldy'. I won't be going to the class. There have been colds circulating our family for weeks now, so I have probably succumbed. GS1 is due here this afternoon whilst DD has an afternoon at the hairdressers. He can still come as long as we keep our distance - although I may have caught it from him anyway!

Good Wednesday morning everyone. It's dark and wet here this morning, but not too cold.
Gem, what a pity you are going to miss your aquafit class, but definitely better not to go with a sore throat and possibly a cold starting. I think we can fend off colds etc for a while, but then they suddenly catch up with us. Look after yourself - lots of fluids and as much rest as you can manage with GS1 with you.
Oma, I had to smile at Storm shaking himself all over the patio windows! We were commenting that we can tell when Cooper has visited us - the door from the hall to living room is always artfully adorned with lick marks all over the glass bits! It's surprising how high he reaches! But our star destroyer award this Christmas goes to my OH. I don't know quite what happened when he was opening a bottle of red wine, but a lot of it ended up on the kitchen ceiling, walls, window, some shelves, the bread machine and a pot of wooden spoons etc!! The walls and ceiling will have to be repainted!
Nanto, I hope the job your OH is helping with goes smoothly. What would our 'children' do without our handy hubbies! Dinner sounds just the job after all the Christmas goodies. Thank you for another lovely cheery graphic. x
I'm looking forward to a relatively free day. I have put a load of washing on and want to put my study/spare bedroom back to rights after the GSs staying, but apart from that I'm going to do some art - much neglected just lately, and have a lazy day.
