Good Sunday morning, everyone. It's not properly light here and a bit drizzly.
All this talk of delicious slow-cooker meals, flans and bread and butter pudding is making me feel hungry. A bowl of Rice Crispies isn't going to cut it this morning!
Gem, I'm glad you enjoyed your evening with C and P, and I hope C can gradually get back to her usual activities. I can understand P wanting to wrap her in cotton wool, though. Have a lovely cuddly day with GS3, and DD and GS1 if they make it. I wonder what GS3 wil make of all the Christmas decorations and lights for his first Christmas?
Nanto, what a cute graphic. Since you can't do the freezer in the outhouse I think you should put your feet up and relax!
Mimi, it made my blood run cold just reading about the theft of your OH's identity. There are some very wicked people about and I wonder if they have any idea how devastating identity theft is. They probably don't care, but it's terrifying even to think about the consequences. I agree about casseroles being better the next day, but I don't very often follow that good tip of cooking them the day before!
As for Christmas, my OH doesn't think about it until Christmas Eve, and it's only because I have so much to do that I think about it this early! In fact I must start making mince pies this week.
I hope everyone has a peaceful, happy, relaxing Sunday. Do you remember when it used to be called a day of rest!
