It's been another busy day in the Daisy domain. After a late breakfast niece and I took Eva for a walk. It was very windy and she was quite flighty (Eva, not K). Came back, had lunch and the to dog training. There were only 3 dogs there and they spent almost the whole two hours off-lead. And we all survived! I'm just off to get dinner ready.

Its been a nice day,weatherwise and otherwise.

Helped hubby clean in the shed this morning.
Then we went to the co-oop to post a parcel.
Wrapped up 3 christmas presents.
Had dinner. Then we had visitors, and had a lovely long chat.

Very windy here today.
I didn’t have chemo today. The next session is next Wednesday. Tomorrow I have to go for the usual pre treatment blood test, also a Covid test.

Nanto. you’re certainly well ahead with the festive season. My main problem is thinking what to buy. I have two very small gifts but am at a complete blank otherwise.I’ll have to do some “surfing” online !

Everyone certainly seems very busy these days.

Accompanied GS to the dentist's this morning. He was in and out, hardly had time to get my jacket off and get comfortable in the waiting roo.

Went to the driving range afterwards and then had something to eat there. Managed to lose my sunglasses, but they were on the bar where I'd obviously left them when I ordered the food.

Had hoped that my bedroom furniture would be started, but I got a phone call to say the fitter was ill, but someone will be here on Friday morning! Fingers crossed! Now I have afree day tomorrow. May go exploring if it's a nice day, if it's raining then I'll be forced to do the ironing!

A VERY wet one here!

I hope everyone is well.

I had a very nice evening with my friends last night. The only downside was that the restaurant we had booked has steak night on Wednesdays. And that it all they have it turns out!! They could do me a halloumi steak, and for that I paid the same as a steak, it was a set meal price. You would think they would have had a chicken breast they could have cooked!!

This morning I am giving away free copies of this Years Big City Read for the library. It is GD and GS2 day. OH will look after them until she leaves for golf then drop them off with me for the last half hour or so of my stint.
The 3 of us are booked for a swim this afternoon. This morning GD got her period. Its like deja vu as the same thing happened in the summer holiday, so GS and I swam alone and GD relaxed in the cafe.

Been preparing stuff for beef casserole,all in the slow cooker now.
Sorted stuff for todays meal.
Been to the post office.

Relaxing for ½ an hour now.

Hello everyone. Today started very wet, but the sun's just coming out, so niece K and I are going for a walk before the rain comes back.

Lovely sunny day here in Normandy again, may it long last. The children 5 and 3 are out in the grounds atm with DD. We are all very slow at getting ready to go out in the morning. GS1, d-i-l and the children are only with us one more day after today as they are off to Disney. The area is steeped in the history of the Normandy Landings by the Americans and there are American flags still being flown and an occasional British one. They do tours of the beaches mainly in the summer.

Afternoon ladies (just)

Been to MILs,
Same moans as usual , I must admit her chest has a bit of a rattle and she has a bit of a cough ,
She still manages 2 cigarettes while we were there 🙄

Took her a Roast beef dinner with Yorkshires for her tea and Apple cake so she’s looking forward to that ,
Put Meatloaf and veg and Sweet and sour chicken with rice in the freezer

called into Aldi on way back for some shopping , ended up buying dried chicken and Duck strips for the dog and a Doggy Advent calendar towards Storms Christmas presents 😁

Oma, beef casserole is bubbling away in the slow cooker. It will be portioned up for the freezer later.
Todays menu is tomato sausage,bacon and baby potatoes done in the air fryer.
Cabbage will be cooked on the hob.
Some nice meals there for moaning MIL.

Plant,sounds like the holiday is going well.

No sun here,but the rain has stopped.

Going to wrap another 3 christmas presents now.

Nan2, in our house I'm the one who loves salmon and OH not as keen.
GD was a bit disappointed about missing the swimming but was OK. OH's golf was cancelled so GD chose to stay here with her.

GS spent most of his time in the pool being various forms of fighting Pokémon! It was quite chilly in the water, we needed hot showers to warm up! A nice afternoon though .
A friend called in for coffee this afternoon after we got home so that was nice too.

The book giveaway this morning went well. I will say more about that later.

After yesterdays rain,the sun came out and it was lovely.

Dinner is chips,beans and egg. One of hubby's favourite meals.
