Good Sunday morning everyone, including Nanto's cute little friend.

    Plant, happy holiday. xx

Nanto, it's not like you not to think ahead to the next day's dinner. You're so well organised. I hope you have a relaxing day after your disturbed night.

Lizzie, I thought it was just me who didn't like the 'flavoured' food staples. I don't even like flavoured crisps - they always taste artificial, not true flavours somehow.

It's barely light here this morning, and drizzly. We had a thunder storm in the night so we've spent several hours trying to reassure Eva that the world isn't ending just yet!

We've got visitors this morning, so I'd better get my skates on. I'll pop back later, but hope everyone has a good day.

      Good morning ladies.

Nan2, yet another summer is almost passed when we planned to go to the local car boot sale but didn't!

Poor Eva I hope she is calmer now Daisy.

GS3 is coming today. DD and SIL want to get on with a few jobs around the house and a full day without the baby will be very useful. DD is planning to drop him off as early as she can and we will take him back. Not good forecast today, thunder and lightening in our region so we probably wont be taking him for a walk!

      Happy Sunday everyone

        Morning ladies

        Gem
We don’t watch any of those programs,
I have watched the odd Gogglebox but never the wheel , I may watch next week see what it’s all about .
Have a lovely day with baby, shame if you can’t get out for a walk but I’m sure cuddles will make up for it 😁

        Daisy
Poor Eva , Thankfully Storm doesn’t mind he will stand in garden and watch but poor Talulah is like Eva ,
She hides in a little den GS made her in the back of his wardrobe and closes the sliding doors so it’s dark and quiet .

        Plant
Have a safe journey and enjoy yourself xx

        Lizzie
Im not a lover of flavoured good old staple foods , I like weetabix and oats but not with chocolate ,
Having said that I’ve never tasted them just don’t fancy it.
I have tried the Porridge with golden syrup but it’s a bit sweet for me , if I was going to have that I would rather pour some real syrup on .
Im a lover of Bran flakes with a few sultanas sprinkled in .

        Nanto
Just go with the flow food wise , maybeChips egg and beans , I know your OH likes that and I must admit I like some good old fashioned comfort food occasionally 😁

I was in bed by 11 last night and slept till 6 I was so tired ,
Trouble was I woke very stiff and achy after hardly moving in that time so can’t win 🙄😁

I have pottered slowly this morning , had a shower and put Towels in wash ,
Im not in any hurry ,
I need some Pumpernickel bread rolls today and only place that sells it is Morrisons, so we will pop to our small local one for them opening.

Its not a bad morning but heavy rain and thunder forecast for later like Gems end .

        Have a good day ladies

Hope any ladies not feeling their best are ok
Clover I’m thinking of you all the time xx

Good morning everyone, I hope you have recovered after your "nightly cuppa" Nanto!

Daisy and Oma, I like porridge made the old fashioned way, in a pan, strange isn't it, I don't like flavoured crisps either, I though it was just me!

Gem, enjoy your day with the baby.xx

Oma, like you I don't want much TV, I did used to watch Strictly, I have tried this season but the screaming and yelling for nothing certainly put me off!! It must be an age thing.

Oma, what a lovely sleep you had last night, you must have been dog tired.

Gemini, have a lovely day with GS3, you are making use of your swish baby car seat.

Lizzie, I am not enjoying Strickly so much this year, I agree Lizzie, there is so much screaming.

Daisy, poor Eva, I don’t think we had a storm last night unless I slept through it. We have had a lot of rain.

We are not leaving until 2pm so plenty of time to finish last minute packing. I will push the cleaner around the sitting room as I had a visit from baby H and family + dog yesterday afternoon, they had been to a pumpkin farm, where they live they get lots of Halloween callers.

Had quite a bit of rain this morning.
It was the perfect time to finish writing the christmas cards.
              So thats a job done.

Hubby said put a pizza in,so thats dinner sorted.
We will have a different flavour to last time.

              Have a lovely holiday Plant.

What a day weatherwise. Woke up to the rain beating on the velux windows ( not a good idea in a bedroom) but planners wouldn't allow any windows in wall when the extension was built! Sunshine and quite warm, then temperature dropped and the thunder started! I thought of Plant crossing the Channel, but realised she doesn't sail until tomorrow. I hope these storms have cleared by then and she has a calm voyage.

Was in Cambridge on Friday seeing the solicitor and getting my will updated. I'm aiming to simplify my 'estate' as much as I can. We finally sorted out the last of OH's affairs last week, almost a year after he died. I dread to think how long it would have taken if he hadn't had a will. What was infuriating was having to pay in cheques ( especially as there isn't a branch of my bank any where near me) for amounts like £0.02!! So bequests made and DC can sort everything else out between them! Now it's on with getting the rest of the jobs done in the house and I can settle down.

Bedroom furniture arriving on Tuesday and being fitted on Thursday and Friday.I've moved most of the stuff into the other rooms and just need to stand my bed against the wall so the fitters have space to work. DD will pop in on her way home tomorrow to help. Need to go to JL tomorrow to pick up an order and GS wants to go to the driving range on Wednesday. So that's next week sorted!

Gem, I can't stand Michael McIntyre and The Wheel's not for me. Like the others I've found Strictly a bit too noisy this year, I think it needs a complete overhaul. I used to watch Montellbanno, but sadly that's not on anymore. Thank goodness for catch up TV, there's usually something on there to watch.

Have a mini joint of beef for dinner tonight, so I'm looking forward to that with roasties, cauliflower cheese and a yorkie!

                      Enjoy the evening ladies xx

your week is going to be so busy but isn’t it nice when your GC want to spend time with you and do things together ,
GS1 still wants to spend as much time as he can with us I love it 😁

We are overnighting in a Premier Inn close to the place the boat will sail rom tomorrow. We have been out for a lovely. Italian meal. GS1 and family arrived soon after us and joined us for a meal. We sail at 7.30 tomorrow morning, I hope it will not be too rough, gales are forecasted. We drove down in an awful storm, the rain was so bad it almost brought the traffic to a standstill, thunder and lightning as well.

Those babies are growing fast they are little people now. Gemini that sounds a lovely day with your little one.

No biscuits in Premier Inns now, everything cut to the bone but the bed is still comfy.

Plant, I hope you get a calm crossing tomorrow, after your stormy journey down here. We usually find the rain is worst between Basingstoke and Winchester for some reason. It's been pretty rough here both last night and today. DS2 and family who live just this side of Bournemouth had a power cut this afternoon. Our lights just flickered, thank goodness.

Gem, these babies are all so sweet natured and smiley. I bet you had a lovely time and lots of cuddles. xx

Nanto and Oma, those little boys are both gorgeous and have amazing smiles. I love seeing how they are growing, even though it's happening too fast.

WeeGranny, we find the rain on our Velux windows can be noisy, but they are in the kitchen and dining room so not so much of a problem as being in the bedroom. You must be relieved you've finally finished all the 'paperwork'. How silly to have to pay in a cheque for £0.02! I've never watched The Wheel either, and find Michael McIntyre a bit irritating, although I suppose he's harmless enough! I'm glad I'm not the only one finding Strictly too noisy and infantile this year. I have to confess I had never heard of Becky Hill, tonight's singer. I find it disappointing that the singer regularly gets drowned out by the band, and obscured by the dancers, excellent though they are. Oh dear, what a Grumpy Old Woman I am!

Good morning, I hope you have a smooth crossing Plant, it is blowing a gale here at the moment.

Gem, you would really enjoy having the baby for the day.

Oma, Finn is growing so fast! I bet he is spoiled by everyone!

Nanto, lovely photo's of young Tommy and I am pleased that his father is improving

I am pleased I am not on my own finding Strictly noisy!

WG, you have done well to get all the paper work sorted, move house etc. The rain will be noisy on a Velux window. These apartments were renovated, 15 years ago almost, the old railings were rounded, these have a flat metal top, I can hear the raindrops on those. I am used to it now but at first it was really strange.

There was a huge fire in a furniture shop in Delft yesterday afternoon, because of the smoke we got an alarm on our phones, they are sooooo loud, I wondered what on earth was happening! Then to make matters worse we received another at 10-30pm, that was the all clear!

I had a bike ride to DS1 yesterday afternoon and if the weather permits I am going to DS2 for lunch, I am going to do the coffee morning first though.
