Very pretty graphic to brighten up a winter morning Nan2
Oma, I hope there is some improvement in Storm.
GS1 from school this afternoon. No other plans for me (golf for OH)
I brought the box of Christmas cards downstairs yesterday, so today I will definitely be writing them! Or some of them at least.
I need to call into the Drs surgery too to get a blood form. After 2 years they have decided that I should again be having the annual blood tests I am supposed to have as part of my medication review!
The baby had a good night, and apart from being a tiny bit grizzly seems fine this morning. His temperature is down thank goodness.

Can't believe I'm on here so early!! Waiting at DD's for someone to come and fix her tumble drier ( fingers crossed). Between 7.30 and 9.30 so am up ready for him to arrive. What's the betting it's nearer 9.30? I stayed over last night just in case it was an early start.
Foggy morning here and it doesn't look as if it's going to lift. Once engineer has been I'll see if doggo wants to go for a walk then I'll had home.
Hope all poorly people and animals are a bit better today. Sending love to you all xx
Have a good day ladies whatever you're up to
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

I wrote a few of my cards yesterday ,mind you my writing with wobbly hands isn’t the best so I’ll be surprised if anyone can read them 🤣
WG

Good Tuesday morning everyone. No fog here, but it's dull and dark.
Oma, I'm sorry I didn't see your post about Fin having bronchitis. I hope he's soon better, poor little baby. Pleased to hear Storm is drinking water - he'll eat when he's ready. I hope it goes well at the vets today. A sad occasion for B, but I'm sure he will also be pleased to see some old Army mates at the funeral.
Nanto, what a cheerful graphic for a dark chilly November day. It put a smile on my face.
Gem, it seems regular check-ups are still hit and miss. I had a blood test but no appointment. I presume if there was anything seriously amiss they'd let me know. I hope your blood test is ok, too. I must get started on cards as well, but probably not today. Is the golf course ok? The ones round here are very wet. Thank goodness baby E's temperature is down. It's always a worry with little ones. Enjoy your afternoon with GS1.
WeeGranny, I was wondering about the glass fusion course as well. I hope your DD's tumble dryer is fixed and you can get on with your day. If you've walked doggo, he'll probably sleep for the rest of the day!
I haven't had chance to try out my new sewing machine yet, but I have unpacked it. At least the instruction book seems to be readable. The one for the new oven is written in Gobbledegook.
Sending hugs to all those who need one. <<<>>>

Storm didn’t have to stay in today , Vet sent him home with lots of meds , he did try him with a little chicken bits and he ate a couple of pieces ,
DD said he wouldn’t stand up to be examined and when he did he tucked his Tail under his bum , obviously didn’t want another thermometer up there 😱😀
He did show interest in two cats in the waiting room and DD said he wagged his tail , he hasn’t done that for days ,
So hopefully he’s turned a corner .
Oma, I am pleased that Storm is well enough to wag his tail when he sees a cat. As Gem may remember I had a dog after DH died, one day whilst walking him he managed to get swallow some rat poison, it could have been from licking his paws, the vet didn't know, but, he said he was one lucky dog as a little dog that walked the same path had died that morning! When I first took him to the vet he was annoyed with me, he said I should have gone earlier! The poor dog only started being sick that morning, when I went to pick him he did apologise, that is when he told me about the other little dog. He always had a weak stomach and had to have one kind of food otherwise he was ill, he did end up being almost 18 years old though.
The friend I have from the pool, she had cancer of the lung 10 years ago and again 4 years ago. She had treatment and has to go every 6 months for a scan, she has just been and they phoned her to tell her it was clear, then, a week later another doctor phoned and said they had sent the scan for "deep" inspection and have found something they are not sure about, she had a PET scan the next day and will get the results tomorrow, she was upset when she told us which is understandable, later managed a few laughs whilst doing the aqua fit.
Oma, sad for B to attend the funeral, hope ha sees a few army friends there. I do hope Storm is now on the mend, I wonder what caused it.
I hope we hear soon from /Clover, Mimi and Enfys. ( Enfys is still playing the Word game, I will message her) Had a nice soup lunch in the village hall yesterday, quite a few people there, some of my bowling friends, mostly grey haired people of course. The new manager is trying to get the hall used more, there is going to be a panto there this year, it has a large stage with curtains.
These blood tests to check your medication are strange, I had to take blood pressure and pulse as well as a blood test some months ago and I have heard nothing. Baby H will be here on Thurs and Friday, her parents are not working over the weekend. GD1’s OH is running at the weekend, he is asking for donations for the hospice who looked after his mother. I have to go to the local hospital to collect some tablets, very relieved as I was getting low. the system for ordering them has been changed but is not working, so I had to go by a different route. Not sure what will happen next time I need some.
WG, are you still listening to readers at the village school? I was wondering how your course went.
Daisy, I must have missed you acquiring a sewing machine, what are you planning to make?
