Oh dear, get better coldy people, (B and Nan2!)

Daisy, I can imagine the mess from that sugar.

Good to hear Storm is slowly getting his appetite back Oma. It bet it's lovely and festive at yours now.

        What a good bargain Lizzie.

Plant, no rush to get your Christmas decorations up (as Daisy will tell you!) Do them when it suits you.

A good aqua session as always this morning. Nice chat with my friend afterwards over coffee. I miss chatting to friends and haven't done so for while (apart from all of you )
I was going to write some more Christmas cards this afternoon but I couldn't be bothered!

Lizzie, that is such good news - an early Christmas present. xx The chopping board was a good bargain!

Oma, the sugar problem is even worse than it might have been. The day before yesterday I dropped an empty jam jar on the kitchen floor, and despite sweeping, hoovering and cleaning I still think every little 'crunch' could be a fragment of glass! Pleased to hear Storm is getting better.

Nanto, I hope your cold is soon better. Did you get the lights?

Gem, is is nice to be able to sit down with a coffee and chat with friends again. Glad you enjoyed your aqua class.

Plant, how was your games afternoon? As Gem says, plenty of time to get your decorations up. The best reason for doing them early is that you are excused all housework once you've decorated the tree, etc.

Eva was a little star at dog training this afternoon. In addition to the two new dogs there was one who hadn't been for a few weeks, and he was a bit jumpy, but she ignored him. It was quite hard work with lots of heel work, then we played with toys and rolling a big cable drum. She loves that and bashes it along the hall so fast I have to run to keep up with her to stop it bashing into the radiator at the end of the room. Then flyball, and she was too tired to gallop over the jumps at her usual breakneck speed! Still it was a good session.

Despite postal strikes I must start on the cards to go abroad tomorrow. I think.

                      Well done to Eva, Daisy

Today I am going to see DD3 and baby. My Christmas present to OH was delivered there and I have waited until there was a time I could go over without her. Golf today so the idea opportunity. I am giving myself a week off seeing my mum (who I saw on Thursday and Saturday last week) I have been a bit overloaded emotionally, so the rest will be good.
A Christmas meal at the golf club tonight, so I will be home alone with a meal for 1

Good morning, very cold here, a slight frost, I must get my scarf out for my early morning rides! I am going in the car to visit my friend and get her flowers on the way, I need to get air in the tyres so will do that as well.

Oma, I hope B is soon feeling better, so many with flu and colds here at the moment.

Gem, enjoy your visit to DD3.

Daisy, you and Eva both seem to enjoy the dog training. A new neighbour has a rescue dog, he is so well trained, she goes to take him to the woods twice a day so that he can run loose.

Nanto, a very happy birthday to your future DIL.

My filter coffee machine decided to stop working last night, I have another one as spare but the coffee isn't as warm so I will go to the village this afternoon and see if I can find one, otherwise I will order one on line. I like my filter coffee early mornings.

                              Good Morning ladies,
I got a nice good-morning call through my letter box this morning at 8amish my little GD calling me to say Hello Nana her daddy DS1 had been to collect her to take her to school and she "needed" to see me before she went off.

Its frosty here this morning with just a touch of fog about you can hear the fog horns on The Mersey from my house there is a Cruise ship over in Liverpool Docks it looks like a big one this time.

This morning I have done all my housework early and am now sitting down with a nice cup of tea catching up with everyones news.I have a roast chicken in the oven for tea tonight when little one comes for her tea also have made a jelly for her which she loves with icecream.

Good Thursday morning everyone. It's been cold overnight and is now misty. I've still got tender plants to wrap up for the winter, and I must get on with that job.

Oma, poor B. He probably should be staying in in the warmth, so I hope MIL appreciates you going over there today. Give him a hug from me.

Gem, sending hugs to you as well. You've got a lot to deal with at the moment, so it's wise to take it a bit easier this week. Have lovely cuddles with baby E and relax. xxx

Lizzie, oh dear, no coffee would be awful! I hope you find a new filter machine ok. We've got one of those pod thingies which make a lovely cup of coffee but I felt a bit guilty about the environmental side of them. We've now found a company who recycle the pods so the coffee tastes even better. Your neighbour's dog sounds lovely and I bet he loves being able to run round in the woods.

Nanto, sorry for some reason I thought the light shopping was yesterday! I'd forgotten your SIS and her OH couldn't shop until Saturday. Even mild colds can hang around at this time of year, so keep warm. The post is all over the place. We're still waiting for something that was sent first class on 26 November, and I've had a message saying my new mouse will be delayed and they can't give a date for it. Thank goodness I can still use the old one, with a bit of coaxing.
