Good morning. Looking a bit overcast this morning.

Nothing much happening here today.
2 jobs to do is the bathroom and some ironing.

Dinner will be cod in breadcrumbs, fries and peas.

Good morning, I have just been to the doctor and I am being punished! I can't ride my bike for 10 days!! I have an infection or whatever at the top of my leg, I have had had it a long time, it comes and goes, I put cream on it etc and it helps a while. I decided yesterday to let the doctor have a look, she told me that it is open and has prescribed a cream, but, not to cycle for 10 days to give it time to heal. Poor me.

Oma, it was only the trees that were damaged, luckily.

DS1 and family are on their way to Croatia, he was telling me yesterday they hope to book for New York for New Year, they have been a few times, they were booked to go when the lockdown changed the plans so now they hope to get there in December.

My next door neighbour is 80 today, I am going soon for coffee, they are having the party at home on Saturday, they have warned us it can be noisy!! It will be, he loves to play his records really loud now and again, I am used to it, when GD2 was here the other week he was playing all his rock'n roll records so we had a dance on the balcony!

What happened in the village last night I don't know, so many sirens and the trauma heli, it must have been close as the heli was going to land down below, there isn't much open space left in the village now for them to land. Maybe in the park in the centre.

B off to MILs on his own this morning, she rang last night full of grumbles so not expecting a good visit .
I got off with not going as I have to be here for Dog coming back , my excuse and I’m sticking to it 😁

Will see to cats when B gets back and go to Aldi , apart from that nothing else I can think of .

Good morning, back home after a lovely couple of days with DD. We enjoyed a lovely lunch with DGD and I saw her little flat for the first time. Then yesterday we visited Highclere Castle, I’m a huge Downton Abbey fan so it was wonderful to see it all in real life. It’s a beautiful building, very grand but also a lovely family home. I was talking to one of the guides and commented how homely it felt; it is on,y open to the public at certain time in the year and the rest of the time it home to the Caernarfon family.

having a restful day today after all the walking of the last couple of days. Shopping coming later this morning so I’ll probably pop over to DDs for coffee too.

Sorry about your leg Lizzie. You will miss being able to cycle.

A quiet day for me today, last two were very busy. I am expecting a visit from DS and GS3 this afternoon, GS is coming from London to attend a funeral tomorrow. DS is picking him up from the station and coming here on the way home. This is the GS some of you met in Birmingham.

Hello again.

Busy here so far! DD and SIL3 both dropped off the baby as they are staying here tonight. They went off to work then DD1 came to pick up GS1's guitar and see the baby. She stayed for coffee and a chat once baby was asleep.
Now baby is still asleep, DD has gone and OH left for golf. So its all quiet here!

Storm went off with his other grandparents , we then went and spent some time with the cats ,
Lord knows what they had been up too but DDs bed looked like someone had been bouncing on it .

We then went to Aldi it was very quiet for that time of the day

Need to do some ironing but I can’t be bothered 😕

Oma, i got my ironing done and bathroom cleaned.
Washed the bathroom stuff and got it dry outside.

I changed todays menu. Hubby said he was fancying fish and chips from the fish shop tomorrow.
So, we had gammon instead of fish.

We have just had chippy fish and chips ,
we tried a new one run by a lovely Asian man and they were lovely,
We only have one between us as we couldn’t eat a full fish and chips each ,
The last place we went to was awful the fish was grey and the chips greasy ,
This one was crisp & white Cod , plus the chips were well drained.

Baby was lovely all day as usual .

His daddy came home from work, got him ready for bed gave him his bottle and settled him down. We haven't heard a peep since .
DD is out to dinner after work with an old friend. So it was me OH and SIL for tea. He is good company so we had some nice chats. DD is waiting for a bus back.

A nice morning but I don't think it's a good forecast for any of the country today.

Don't think anything is happening today for us.
We had a visit from sis in law and hubby yesterday, they didn't leave until 6.30.
Not expecting any visitors today.

Hubby out for a couple of hours, so I'll be able to crack on.

Dinner is fish and chips at hubby's request.
Not had them from fish shop for ages. Hope we enjoy them.
