I booked a few days away for September to the same apartment as I was at a few weeks ago with GD2.

Going to a BBQ at GD1's today, for Tommies birthday. His first birthday tomorrow.

Going to finish my cuppa then pack my stuff for the freezer. Didn't get it done yesterday with having company.

Our neighbour had both knees done, not at the same time, and he wasn't too long before he was back to normal both times.

Oma, sensible GS home by a reasonable time.
Our carnival kicks off with the parade through the village arriving at the playing field at 1 which is official starting time. I and my helpers will be there from 10 onwards. If you know me well you will understand that time was the majority decision, certainly not mine!

Lovely to have that holiday to look forward to Lizzie.

Nanto, I can’t believe Tommie is a year old, hope the weather stays fine for the party.

I need to go to the small M&S for some bits, it is very close to GD1’s so I am going to pop there to see if her tomatoes need some water after the very hot day
we had yesterday. They are due back tomorrow morning after an all night flight. I am wondering what H’s reaction will be. H was very hot and tired yesterday, she didn’t want to play with her Papa in the garden so she came indoors and I watched her select two books, she took them into the cool utility room and sat on the floor to look at them.

GS is going with them , it’s probably the last holiday as a family , it’s a golfing holiday for him and his Dad so DDs best friend is going with them to keep DD company 😁

H had the right idea find the coolest place and keep out of the sun 😁
We went to M&S last week , have you tried their Almond and Walnut croissants and the chocolate and custard twist pastries, from the freezer to cook at home ,
They are delicious , a bit more expensive that other places but so worth the money.

We forecast Thunder storms after lunch too .

I have had a good clean through downstairs all doors and skirting washed ,
Dont know why as we have the dog all week we will be finding hair everywhere but at least I know it’s clean .
Bedding on the line hopefully that will dry before the rain .

GD just Face timed, they are just off to the airport, we shall see them about 10am tomorrow. I wonder what H’s reaction is going to be when she sees them, not really interested when they Face Time.

DD & GS been with Storm , he’s busy murdering his stuffed lobster ,
Hes had it since Christmas and just decided now to rip it to bits .
