Lizzie, you sound as though you've got your mojo back, thank goodness. Well done to GD1 on getting the job at Lidls and it's good the new one will be so close to home for her. Your GDs are very busy bees and seem to have lots of interests, plus, of course, spending time with their Gran, who doesn't spoil them in the slightest.
I've had a fairly lazy afternoon - I think the last week or so has caught up with me. OH and I were saying at lunch time the tiredness seems to kick in two days after a very busy day. Sunday was full on, but we both felt fine yesterday. Today is a different matter. I hope I'm back to "normal" tomorrow.
While I was out with the dog this morning the surgery rang. They won't leave a message with OH, so I had to ring them back. I spent over two minutes listening to all their procedures on getting an appointment and was then in a queue of 4 to speak to a real person. I hung on and hung on, increasingly irritated by the recorded message that for minor ailments I could go to the pharmacist and should really be reading all the news etc on their website, whose name is about two miles long! Eventually a pleasant young man answered, only to tell me that my blood pressure from my recent MOT was ok, and to get another one in 12 months' time. Obviously I was pleased they thought it was ok (and I thought it was, too), but why couldn't they have sent me an email!
