    Good morning everyone.
Sunny and windy here. I will attempt to do the aquafit class today as if I can it will help my back I think.

We are looking after the baby here later and putting him to bed. His parents are going to the theatre then will stay the night here. OH will be needed for all baby carrying duties whilst they are out!

    Have a good day ladies.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. It's been raining overnight, but the sky is a bit lighter now so I hope it might stay dry.

Gem, taking it gently at aquafit might be just the thing to ease your back, but it's good S will be around to lift and carry baby E. I bet he's getting quite a weight now, bless him. Were you ok at the library yesterday (sorry if I've missed it in earlier comments).

Nanto, enjoy the sunshine and your outing if it happens.

Plant, it's good to get out and it's good to hear you're feeling better.

Oma, I remember you (or rather B) getting that satellite dish and I can imagine your joy at getting rid of it. Did you ever get any signals from Aliens, by the way? I'm always overjoyed when J finally agrees to part with some of his accumulated 'stuff'.

Lizzie, I hope you've got a more relaxing day today. Serving coffee all day is tiring on the feet and back, I'm sure.

It's our usual Wednesday here. Dog training this afternoon and Eva needs a decent walk this morning. We spent so long gardening yesterday that I didn't get round to taking her out at all - just a quick game of football in the garden. She loves it but doesn't play fair - if she's got possession it's hers!

S will as you say on baby lifting duties , he will be getting heavy now , I know Finn is a ton weight

        Nanto
A go with the flow day whatever falls out of the fridge as my sister says when asked what she's making for dinner

        Plant
So pleased your feeling better I bet it was lovely getting out and about again .
How are they with the dog now ,

Waiting for Storm to arrive , treats are all ready
His lunch today is Corn fed chicken ham and rice ,
I had a lot of the corn fed chicken left from last week so I shredded it and froze it ,

DD said he gets fed better than they do when he comes here

Gemini, I hope Aqua eases your sciatica. More cuddles with baby E, he must be growing fast.

Daisy, I think a punishment for Eva is needed if she doesn’t play fair, 5 minutes in the sin bin for her.

Oma, Goodbye Satellite Dish at last for you. Did you used to clean it?

Washed most of my trousers yesterday, now they need ironing. I have to decide which ones I am taking on holiday, not long now.

Plant I'm glad you are starting to feel better ready for your holiday.

Oma, we can tell how happy you are to be rid of the dish!

              Daisy, gourmet breakfast for Eva

I managed the aqua class, a very modified version! Only embarrassment stopped me giving up and getting out halfway through, but I was glad I persevered. I have cancelled the Friday class though. Once a week is enough for now. My friend and I had coffee afterwards.
I have taken it easy this afternoon.
OH has been playing 9 holes on the golf course and I am waiting for SIL and baby to arrive.
Daisy, you didn't miss me reporting on the library etc yesterday. I was in so much pain when I got home I couldn't bear to talk about it. Library work followed by a long sit on a cafe chair with my friend followed by a drive to and from GS's school was all too much in the end!

Good afternoon ladies! Just thought I'd say Hello to you all and let you know that I'm still around! I have been reading the posts, but haven't felt like posting. seem to be a lot of mundane things happening at the moment which seem to take a lot of time to resolve.

I've managed to get some plants in the new beds and they seem to be doing OK and I'm waiting for some more to arrive, but I don't think they're being delivered until May. Some daffodils and snowdrops have appeared which must have been in the old beds. Next door's cat is using my raised veggie planters as a loo, so I'm going to have to put a stop to that!! Sorry all cat lovers on here, but it does make me angry! I'm hoping to get the outside of the house painted this year and apart from a getting a desk for the spare bedroom I think that's me done.

I've got involved in the Coronation Celebrations in the village and am trying to organise a children's art competition. Have managed to get permission to buy prizes, was like getting blood out of a stone from the committee! I'm also part of the postbox toppers group. We've got the Spring ones out and about to add some Easter things to them and next one is for the Coronation. They bring a bit of cheer to the village and we've had lots of lovely comments from people.

GS has an interview for 6th Form tomorrow(he's already had a couple) so I'm taking the chance to visit waitrose and pick him up afterwards. He's been told he's got the highest score in coursework for PE that the school has ever had! So that should spur him on to better things!

Sorry to hear about all the poorly ladies and hope you soon feel better! Take care everyone. Will speak again soon x
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

WG, good luck for GS tomorrow.

Daisy,Oma, your doggies certainly eat well.

Plant, glad you feel well enough to prepare for your holiday.

Gem, sorry to hear the aqua class wasn't very good for you.

Plant, ironing trousers is tedious, but at least you've got your holiday to look forward to when you can wear them. You sound as though you are feeling much better. c

Gem, poor you. Yesterday certainly took its toll on you. Are you managing to sleep comfortably? It was definitely a good idea to skip aquafit this Friday. I hope you've had a lovely time with baby E, but no lifting. Do take care of yourself. Sending hugs. xx

WeeGranny, how lovely to catch up with you. I know what you mean about mundane things gobbling up not only your time but your energy as well, but it's great that you have already found some lovely 'distractions' in the village. I loved the photos of the post boxes and think you are all very clever. I'm sure there will be some great knits for the Coronation. Good luck to your Gs for his interview for 6th Form tomorrow. Interviewing new students was part of my job at college, and believe me, I would have been delighted to accept a student who had already achieved so much.

While I was at dog training this afternoon OH weeded the flower bed under the living room window, so I can now see where there are gaps. I feel the call of the garden centre for some plant shopping. Eva was very good at training, but we did several new activities and she's slept all evening, after eating her gourmet dinner, of course!

Good morning, WeeGranny, you certainly keep yourself occupied!

Daisy, I was at a local DIY place the other day, they had so many plants, garden furniture etc.

Gem, I do hope you are soon feeling better, it does sound as though the busy day was far too much for you. Take it easy.xx
Is there not a fysio that can help ease the pain?

DS2 came for a flying visit yesterday afternoon, he came to pick something up, he took the old TV with him at the same time so that has gone now.

Oma, you will be pleased when the dish has gone! When you said that I realised we hardly ever see them now, a few years ago they were everywhere.

The organisation where I do the voluntary work have their 55th anniversary in April. A full week of activities, we could sign in the for the workshops we wanted yesterday, I got the one I wanted to make jewellery then a cycle puzzle ride. There were so many to choose from, from wine tasting to a visit to the birds of prey. There is also a party night organised for one of the evenings. It is very well organised, it always is really.

I want to do some shopping before I go to my class at 10am, I am hoping for better weather as it is windy and wet.

                          Good morning all.

Lizzie, since covid hit us, the whole country, or most of it, seems to have stayed on some sort of lockdown regarding anything but life or death medical scenarios!

Nan2, we are not very good about remembering to clean the dishwasher!

Nice t0 hear from you WG!

We had a nice time with baby E. Now he is on solids as well as bottles everything takes longer! He enjoyed his bath and we put him down to sleep at 7.30, which is late for him. He cried bitterly for half a minute which surprised me. I stroked his hair, he fell asleep and that was it. He was still asleep when his parents got back from their evening out.
Free day for me today. As I have no Friday school run this week OH and I will see my mum tomorrow. Mum gets to see OH, which she enjoys and I don't have to drive.

We haven't seen next door's ragdoll cat for 2 days now (we are feeding their 2 cats for a month while they are away) . We have searched their house completely. We are concerned she is locked in somewhere so we will have to do something about that today.

Good Thursday morning everyone. There are lots of puddles about, but the sun is doing its best.

I need to get a move on this morning. I want to take Eva out for her walk before I meet up with the old college crowd for lunch. A friend is giving me a lift, so I can't be late. I'll pop back in later.

The cat is back! It's bin day here and we think she may have been locked in someone's shed or garage and been released when they got their bin out. PHEW!

                              Enjoy your lunch Daisy.

Daisy, have a lovely lunch with friends and lots of chats. Thank you for my lovely card.

Gemini, so sorry your sciatica is still painful. Your mum will enjoy seeing S. I can’t believe your baby GS is on solids, does as much come out as goes in.

Quiet day for me, I have some sewing to do but I am itching to get in the garden. I think H will be here today with her new scooter. GGS was so excited when he came here from school with his parents to open his presents. He was six not seven.

Lizzie, that 55th Anniversary day of activities sounds good.

Nanto, I cleaned my dishwasher last week.
