    Mimi
Garden trash isle 🤣🤣🤣 I will look out for that when I next go in 😀
You did have a full day didn’t you , no the wonder you fell asleep .

MIL isn’t afraid she’s just impatient and aggressive and wants everything done then and there , can’t understand why SHE should wait for a Dr to come round he should be there as soon as she asks to see him .
Her words we’re WHY should I have to wait he can’t be that busy 🙄

B has his yearly check up at the Freemans hospital this morning ,
I was going to try wash my paintworks and doors outside but the heavens have opened it’s lashing down .

I will just potter with the jobs that need doing inside instead.

        Good morning everyone.

Busy at your house with plenty of visitors Nan2

Your day out on the bus sounds fun Mimi! We keep saying we must use our bus passes more. We have only used them for the occasional trip into town, 4 miles away.

I hope all is good with B's check up Oma.

It was nice having DD3 and family overnight. Baby started sneezing and with a runny nose during the day though so it took a while for them to settle him at night. He was bright and breezy this morning as usual, but with a very runny nose. DD had a text from nursery saying there was a case of chickenpox, so we will have to wait and see and hope it's just a cold.

OH is on her way to Scarborough to play golf.
I am not bringing GD and GS2 back here this week but looking after them at their end. We may may go to the nearby designer outlet (shopping for GD, play area for GS) and if so I will take them to the Pizza Express there for their tea. They have both had a bit of a week in one way and another though so DD says if they don't feel up to it we can just stay at theirs. We will play it by ear.

        Happy Friday!

Mimi, quite an adventure you had to get your OH’s booster jab done. At least you managed to pick up some shopping on the way.

Gemini, I do hope your GS3 isn’t going to get Chickenpox

Oma, I hope everything is fine with B’s check-up. Your Mil is priceless, you could write a book.

Grocery shopping for me today, I think I will go to the M&S Foodhall which is very close.

Good Morning to you all,Mimi what an eventful trip out you both had I like to go out on the bus sometimes we have a good transport service and its nice to take the pressure off driving most of the buses stop right by the big stores and it saves having to find parking spaces.

This morning I have cracked on cleaning the chairs I was gifted for the back patio two are done and just now having a rest before I finish the last two they have come up very well I must say.I am taking it slowly as I don't want to antagonise my back so gently does it.

              Take care everyone x

Goof Friday 'hello' from me, everyone.

I'll try and catch up later, but we're going through a new variation of 'what can go wrong when we're about to go on holiday'. We ordered something and let's just say the courier company are not our best friends at the moment!! It's just starting to rain and I'm trying to clean inside the caravan. Back later. xx

hallo everyone, I am slow catching up with the news, the allergy has hit me hard! My voice has gone again, it did the same last year, I phoned the surgery, they say the same, pollen and keep doing what I do.

Oma, I hope your MIL is soon home and that all goes well for B today.

Did I mention I saw a swan hatch the other day? Is it a cygnet? I have a photo, not of the actual cygnet as she managed to hide but the second one was busy hatching. 48f40629-f71a-4689-98d9-9270171bc6c6.jpg

Oma, so pleased to hear the news about B. I expect the hospital couldn’t get your Mil discharged quick enough. Pleased to hear she doesn’t need oxygen at home.

Oma, I cycled past a few weeks ago and counted 5 huge eggs, I was going to take a photo on the way home but mother swan decided to sit on them to brood. The eggs are massive as you can see.

Lizzie, how lovely to see the swan hatch.

I'm sorry I'm still in a rush! After having friends round for dinner last night, I'm tired today and as I hinted earlier we had a problem with a parcel being delivered. It's a camping fridge/freezer and was a big saving on the shop price as it was a display model. We paid for express delivery and it came on Wednesday when we were out. The driver took it back to the depot for delivery the next day, (Thursday). Then nothing. No message, no response to phone calls, no delivery information except that the item had been cross-labelled (whatever that means). After several frustrating phone calls OH went to fetch it. The depot is new, post code unknown to the sat nav, no directions on the website. It took OH nearly 1 ½/ hours to get there, mainly because of traffic, and another 1 ½ back. So I ended up cleaning the caravan instead of the house, mowing the lawn etc.

So we're still not ready to go first thing tomorrow, and we're both exhausted. So early night and an early start tomorrow.

PS We eventually found out that 'cross-labelling' means putting somebody else's address on the parcel. I'm mystified as to why you'd do that.

Baby had a bit of a temperature tonight

Daisy, you really need this break to unwind!

Nan2, no worries about not commenting. We are all busy at times and none of us can be here all the time

How lovely to see swans hatch Lizzie.

Things went slightly differently than we planned today .
There was a massive hold up on the road to collect GS2. Both carriageways were crawling along. After some time I saw blue lights ahead, an accident. One carriageway was closed. Eventually I got passed it but I feared it wasn't possible to make it to school on time as I was still several miles away. I knew SIL was working from home so I had to get him to collect GS. In the end I would only have been a couple of minutes late, but there was no way of knowing. I went to their house and DD arrived not long after as she had made a Dr's appointment for GS2. She knew he would be very upset at the idea ( he was) so didn't want SIL or me to have to take him. I went with DD and GS was given antibiotics for an ear infection. Afterwards we took him to The Works and Costa, both of which he loved .
