Hubby says they usually smash one window then run off because of the noise it makes.
But, they have done them all except for the back window.
Police don't want to know,apparently they have bigger fish to fry.
Wouldn't be much chance of finding out who did it anyway.

Nanto - I hate that mindless vandalism. Is your GS2's car a 'nice' or unusual one? I often think vandals attack cars they'd love for themselves and hate anyone else having one.

Lizzie, you've done so well with your weight loss, and you are keeping active, so I'm sure you won't regain it. xx I bet the mountains of Norway were a lot prettier than our cold grey weather.

Oma, I can just picture Storm enjoying the snow! It must feel like his natural habitat, which of course it is!

It's been cold and wet here today. I took Eva out about 4 o'clock and it was really cold, but had at least stopped raining. I hope it doesn't freeze tonight because it will be like a skating rink outside.

I could get used to this lazy day lifestyle. I've done very little today! I cleaned the main bathroom but needless to say, the ironing didn't get a look in. I made a casserole and a rice pudding for dinner and that's it!

Daisy,GD2 car isn't a new or unusual one. Its only a Ford Escort, but she loves her car.
Hubby thinks its an act of revenge. He's got it in his mind that its her ex partner.

Only plans for me today is make some chicken,leek and mushroom pies for the freezer.
I cooked the filling yesterday in the slow cooker.
Dinner today is a corned beef and onion,beans and mash pie. Similar to a cottage pie.

The baby next door is due in July. They go to Singapore for a month tomorrow! Baby's mummy hasn't seen her family since before the pandemic. It will be a lovely time for them all
OH did play her golf and they all enjoyed it.

Aquafit this morning and coffee with my friend.
This afternoon OH and I are going next door for cat sitting instructions! We will be feeding the 2 cats while our neighbours are away. I have a baby bath and some clothes to pass on from DD3 so will take those round too .

I'm still in bed but it feels as though it will be another cold day. Stay warm!

We have dog today and B has to take MIL to have a tooth out after lunch ,
He’s dreading it she’s such a Drama queen make a scene everytime even getting her teeth polished she cried and wailed about it .

We have a white out, quite deep. I am supposed to be going to a craft group this morning and games this afternoon. Needless to say I will not be doing either. I hope we don’t have any more as I am supposed to be going to the surgery for a blood test at 9am tomorrow and then onto the hospital for an X-ray. Pleased to say the optician said my cataract was no worse and I didn’t need new glasses. H is better, no more scabs. I managed to find a hold-all at JL we are lucky to have such a lovely store within a short drive.

Oma, Is Storm out in your garden, how lovely for him to enjoy the snow. We all hate the dentist, your Mil just prolongs the discomfort by being such a drama queen.

Daisy, enjoy the more restful pace of life for a change, pity you can’t be in the garden painting.

Nanto, as usual your food sounds yummy. What a dreadful person who damaged you GD’s car windows, you could be right about revenge.

Good Wednesday morning everyone. No snow here, but plenty of rain. At least it didn't freeze.

Plant, DS1 has a hospital appointment today, and they've got quite a lot of snow - not far from you. Hopefully the M25 will be clear. GS2 who only passed his test a couple of weeks ago, has had his first experience of driving in snow. I think his dad had a bit of a chat with him first. I hope things are better for your appointment tomorrow. So glad you got good news from the optician, and found a nice hold-all in JL. I bought a really useful flight bag there a few years ago and it still looks like new.

Oma, poor B taking his mum to the dentist. No wonder he's dreading it. Storm must be in seventh heaven with the snow. Eva doesn't mind snow - she'll have a run round and roll in it, but then the novelty wears off and she ignores it. I agree about Nanto's lovely graphic. I'm fed up with wearing layers of clothes and wrapping up every time I go out. I feel like the Michelin man - and probably look like him as well!

Nanto, I do feel for you GD about the car. She must be so upset, but you can only think if it was her ex, then she's well rid of him!

Lizzie, do you find exercising helps you to relax mentally? There must be times when you just want to 'switch off' and it's very frustrating if you can't do that.

Gem, July is a lovely time to have a baby I think. Still most of the summer left and getting up for night-time feeds doesn't feel as bad when it's light more than dark. I'm sure your neighbours are delighted to have the kind gifts from your DD3 for their little girl. Mum-to-be must be so excited to be seeing her family after so long. Is it a first baby for her family in general? I'm sure their cats will be very happy in your andS's care while they are away.

It's dog training today, and I need to take Eva for a quick walk before we go. In fact, the rains eased off, so this is a good time. I'll pop back later.

Plant, the snow has stopped now, luckily, yes, they keep the roads and cycle paths clear if there is snow, not the footpaths though.

Oma, that is how I am, my mind is always working!! Daisy, yes the exercise does help me relax, I have just had a circuit training. I do like that, I even join the rest of the group for coffee and a chat.

I got a message from GD2, could I go to her school this afternoon as they are having a charity afternoon for Ghana, she did mention to take my card and cash, so, I will have to call and get some cash on my way there.

Oma, your MIL sounds as though she loves attention! One of the ladies I go to the pool with, a nice enough woman, she loves attention though, her daughter was telling me she is lonely and that is why she does it. She was on about her BP being sky high a fortnight ago, she went to the doctor, had one of those 24 hour box things, she went back, her BP is normal, that is one example, she is the same with everything, in fact, I find it very difficult to get on with her.

I hope it goes OK for MIL Oma. My mum has always been like that, but when she broke her hip and had covid twice, no complaints!!

It's snowing. Car booked in for MOT this afternoon.

Because we live tucked away I can’t see what the roads are like, Sil who has been in and out today says it is fine, it is only our garden that looks bad. The forecast isn’t too bad so I should be able to get to the doctors for a blood test and the hospital for a chest X-ray tomorrow. I have an appt. With the doctor next week to get the results.

It snowed on and off all day here, but light flakes and nothing has settled.

We had a quick cuppa next door while getting our cat feeding instructions. Then we popped to the local shops for a few things and checked our friend's house on the way back. All OK there. They will be back next week,

MIL had a bit of a tantrum before going to Dentist but B put her in her place and told her to stop being a (as he put it ) Arse 😁

Anyway got the tooth out easy they fitted a small denture with the tooth straight away as she had a impression done last week .
B said she didn’t make too much of a fuss while there so that was good .

B hadn’t been home 15 minutes when she rang to say the putty holding the pallet on had come away and she couldn’t find it .
B said well it can’t come away from under it unless you have been messing with it , they told her to keep it in for 24 hours and not touch it .
She insisted she hadn’t , so Brian said well they gave you some to bring home ,
well how do I use it she said 🙄
B said read the instructions it’s not rocket science ,
But no she will wait till tomorrow and ring dentist .

We know what she’s done she’s taken the pallet out to see if it’s still bleeding instead of doing what they told her as there was a small piece of dressing over the extraction to protect it .

Asked if B would take her back tomorrow but he said no as I am at the Dentist in the morning ,
She wasn’t happy thought I should go myself and him take her .

I don’t mind going myself I’m fine with Dentist but B said no his sister can take her turn.

I rang his sister and she was going to speak to her tonight , B had enough for one day bless him .
