Plant, you and I posted together as well!!! You've reminded me I've got a box full of apples from a neighbour. I must cook and freeze them before we go away - I won't have time to do anything else. The crumbles will be very popular, I'm sure. x

We have had a really lovely afternoon. Sister in law and her hubby came, just as i had started dinner.
There was enough for all of us. They said they enjoyed it. All plates were left clean.
Then we sat in the garden chatting. Had tea and cake before they went home.
I'm a bit behind on here now. Hope to catch up later.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto, what a lovely day, and lucky you had done such large portions of dinner that everybody was able to enjoy it.
I'm glad it looks as though most of you have had a nice day. It's been pouring here and chilly and gloomy as well.
Oma, I'm glad GS1 is enjoying college so much. Is he applying to uni for next year? My GS2 hasn't made his mind up yet, but I'm hoping he applies anyway as it's easier to turn down an offer then apply through Clearing after the results are out.
I've never tried making liver and onion in the slow cooker. I bet it's very tasty and tender done like that. I only seem to cook liver to chop up for treats for Eva and if it's too tender it crumbles too much.
I spoke to GS1's dad at lunch time and she had had a sleep and was eating a bit of lunch and doing Minecraft. We're hoping she will be ok.
Gem, I hope you have had a good day with baby, and aren't too tired.

That boy is spoilt😁

Good morning everyone.
As is always the case when you miss a couple of days Chat, it will be impossible to read back and respond to everything. I have read through though.
Daisy, I do hope your GD1 is soon recovered.
Glamma, I hope your had a nice birthday despite it not being as planned, and I hope your DD isn't too poorly.
The two days with DD3 and GS3 went well. It was also my day to collect GS1 from school yesterday so all was hectic! I went to bed at 10.30, after dozing through TV programmes. I read about a page on my Kindle and fell asleep!
I will start new thread this afternoon about the sleepover.
Aquafit this morning. My turn to pick up my friend so I need an extra 5 or 10 minutes. Our other friend (the one with the recent Parkinson's diagnosis) isn't coming today as she has a doctors appointment.
Sending love to all and sorry for anything I haven't commented on. I will be around as normal now“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning, everyone. It's still damp, dull and drizzly here, but we're going to take Eva to the paddock in a bit. She just needs a good run round. I'm gradually seeing off the ironing - I'll do a bit more when I get back. Then it's dog training this afternoon. I don't know how GD1 is yet, but she was feeling a bit better last night.
Oma, there's such a huge choice of Uni courses, it makes it difficult to choose unless he's really clear about what he wants to do. My advice to students was choose something you really enjoy as 3 years is a long time to study something you're not that interested in. Mind you, he willprobably want to stay close to home just for your dinner! He's as spoilt as Storm, if not more. xx
Gem, I'm glad your time with DD3 and baby went well, although I can well imagine how tired you must have been especially with a school run as well. Enjoy aquafit this morning and than relax. x
Nanto, good morning. You are an energetic girl today. What's on the menu for dinner?

Good morning, it is dull here but no rain, as yet. I heard at the sport school that my physio had fallen from the stairs and hurt his knee, I just messaged his son and he has torn a tendon! They have operated on him and he is slowly improving.
Gem, you would enjoy helping DD3 out. Enjoy the aqua.
I am doing the kitchen tops etc, I have everything moved, first my coffee.
Oma, my late sister used to do that, buy and pack presents all year round for Christmas. I did see the garden centre were already getting ready for the Christmas display.
Nanto, you look really good doing your exercises.xxx

Nanto, You are very supple, love the outfit.
Gemini, I expect you are tired after the last two days, enjoy your aqua fit.
Daisy, we have sunshine, I will blow some back to you but we don’t want drizzle in return. It must be getting close to your holiday.
Oma, buying presents and wrapping them so early, have they got a big family. We have lots of birthdays before Christmas, that is enough to think about presents.
Lovely seeing all my ex-guiding friends yesterday, we did some decoupage, rather a lot of members missing due to ill health, we are all getting past it but enjoy our Trefoil meetings.
I am going to the games afternoon again this afternoon but have a few jobs to do this morning.
Lizzie, what are you doing to your kitchen tops? What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Lizzie
I hate the smell of the oil although the new one B found recently isn’t so bad , it doesn’t make. My head ache as much ,
Poor physio , he will at least know what to do to recover .
Plant
shame so many missing yesterday but you still managed a good day , enjoy your games afternoon xx
Had Dr on phone about Blood tests ,
put me on 3 month iron tablets , iron very low ,
Gave me different stuff for sore tongue and referring me to oral surgeon to see if they can do anything more ,
Of course if this new medication works then the appointment with them can be cancelled.
Sugar is ok so making appointment with Hospital Diabetic nurse that comes to our surgery see if some of my meds can be lowered. So that’s a positive I suppose .
My infection markers that points to Leukemia are still low so no need to worry .
More bloods in January 😁
