Good afternoon. Plant, I hope you can get it all sorted soon, not good at all.

This morning I went to a new art group, well, new to me. A couple of friends from ,y knitting group have been trying to persuade me to go and finally I did. I really enjoyed it, very friendly group and it was nice to get my pencils and paints out and just play.

Its a glorious afternoon and DD and Dexter have just left after sitting in the garden with coffee, so I’ve had a very good day. Feel quite tired now so sitting with a cool drink and relaxing.

      Hello all.
Just got back from having my 5th Covid jab. The place where I went for the last two has closed so I had to go to a new venue. There was a dedicated bus service from Swansea bus station to the old place but this time I had to fend for myself. First a 40 minute journey into Swansea bus station from home then another 35 minutes on the bus to Gorseinon followed by a 10 minute walk.Luckily it’s been a lovely day but very hot! At least there were chairs to wait on in the queue, we just had to keep moving on to a new set like musical chairs but it didn’t take that long to get to the front of the queue.Instead of people moving into vaccination booths the staff had everything on trollies and moved from person to person which seemed to get things going quicker.
Has anyone else he’d their 5th yet?

I've just got back from taking the GDs and Cooper home, and we're going out in a few minutes. I still haven't had chance to catch up with you all. I'm sorry!

                Good morning to all.

My day will follow a similar pattern to the last few!

I had a text about flu and Covid booster jabs a while back, but no invitation yet . What a lot of traveling for yours Clover!

I hope you had a good night out after your busy day Daisy.

It's a shame you didn't enjoy your fish and chips Nan2. That will be our tea when we are back on Friday. Before getting back to sensible eating

Just supermarket shopping, and i don't feel like doing that.
Been making hourly trips to the loo all night.
Could be a bit of a water infection.
All i want to do is lie down and go to sleep.

Nanto, that does sound like a water infection, I would think a chemist could recommend something as it is the weekend. Keep drinking plenty. I hope you feel better soon.

I was very late getting up, slept like a log. GS2, the bride to be and GD2 and her partner are arriving today, the ladies are having a family hen do tomorrow.

Gemini, that is one sweet little man, he might be smiling by the time you get back.

Good morning, Gem, the baby looks so peaceful!

Nanto, I do hope you are feeling better now, can you get to see a doctor?

We still have the sun, rain is forecast from Monday though. I have been on my bike for my eggs and veg, now I want to go to the library, a book may help me to relax.

Enfys, you would enjoy the art group, it sounds like you have plenty to keep you occupied.

Oma, I plan on doing the windows inside next week, if it is raining it will occupy me.

I have been trying jeans on, I have lived in skirts all the summer, it will be strange with jeans on.

Good morning everyone. It's dull here but still quite warm - I've got all the windows open to get a bit of a breeze through the house.

Nanto, poor you. I've recently had the same and I got Cystopurin, over the counter in the supermarket. It's sachets of potassium citrate you take in water, three times a day for two days. I also cut out acidic foods/drinks, eg tea, tomatoes, most fruit, and of course drank gallons of water. I've been having a glass of cranberry juice every day since, and things seem to be ok now. But if you're feeling poorly you should rest. Take care. xx

Oma, I never get used to how many jobs you get done before I'm even out of bed. You deserve an easy day, although I had to laugh when I read you thought is was Saturday yesterday. I do that all the time!

Clover, what a terrible journey to get your booster. I hope you felt ok for the journey back.

Enfys, your new art group sounds lovely and just in time for the start of autumn and winter. Please will you show us some of your pictures when you're ready?

Glamm, I hope you're having another lovely day today. The school holidays seem to have flown by, don't they. All change next week though. There seem to be lots of interesting things to do and see round your way. I do love 'proper' table napkins and they're well worth the effort for special meals. Enjoy using yours.

Lizzie, it must be frustrating not knowing how long you have to spend recuperating after your op. It sounds as though you are planning for the longest estimate which I'm sure is sensible.

Plant, I hope you get that appointment sorted out. Surely they must be able to arrange for one stitch to be removed. I hope you hens all have a lovely week-end. Did the rain refresh the garden?

Gem, Sainsburys usually do ring if they are early to check it's ok, but yesterday they didn't, even though the driver had a trainee with him. I also returned a packet of watercress because it looked as though an elephant had sat on it, and another product because it was over a MONTH out of date! We're thinking about starting to shop at the farm shop for fresh stuff and just use the supermarket for other things. The farm shop is lovely, and on the way to DS2's, but gets very busy and no trolleys, just baskets.

I bet you will see such a change in baby E when you get back. You can almost see them growing before your eyes at this age, can't you. He's so gorgeous. xxx

We had a lovely evening at our neighbours' yesterday. Good company and a delicious meal. I ate far too much and am still not hungry! We left Eva at home and she took herself off to bed. She was invited and she and Missy enjoy each other's company, but tour neighbours are looking after one of their DD's dogs at the moment and we felt it wasn't fair to inflict Eva on her when she's not in her own home.

OH is out this morning, and I'm trying to catch up with various odd jobs. The dog food's just arrived so the next job will be sorting out the freezer!

No other plans for today, but we're out for the day tomorrow, visiting friends in Somerset.

if you feel like sleeping it’s your body telling you to rest , waking all the time is exhausting and constantly peeing makes you sore ,
Daisys idea seems a good one .
I have just got over having thrush in my mouth and down below for 10 weeks , it was driving me insane
Tongue still slightly sore but rest has cleared thankfully .

Always best to check dates just goes to show how lax the packers can be , I’ve watched them they just pick first thing up scan & bag without looking

I was saying yesterday it will be strange wearing shoes again after wearing sandals for so long .
I wear trousers all the time but I do like the freedom of a dress in the summer , I don’t own a skirt havent foryears now , I have no idea why I just don’t look at them 🙄

Got my ironing done and out of the way I hate leaving it to pile up so I try to iron same day I have washed
Rain stopped but it’s dull and stuffy
