I've just had a lovely refreshing shower.

I had a nice aquafit session and coffee with my friend. Time for some online time, and suitcase unpacking!
OH and I booked our Covid booster jabs for October 9th. We could have had them earlier but prefer to wait and have them in our village.

I hope Eva feels better for her training Daisy. It was very dull damp here early this morning.

Oma, your GS1 is going to be a busy student, but very interesting subjects. He's always been a keen musician, hasn't he. Do you think the interest in psychology has come out of seeing what a lot his Mum does to help people through her work? The apples are still waiting, but the ironing pile is shrinking (thank goodness). I wonder if the low iron is because you felt so poorly after Covid, but hopefully the iron tablets should sort it out. I do hope some of your meds can be reduced.

Plant, yes, Lizzie is right. We've got a wooden worktop in the utility room, but most of it is covered by the tumble dryer, so doesn't get treated very often. I don't mind the smell, but then it's not in the kitchen. Many thanks for blowing some sunshine back to us. This morning it was like winter, but this afternoon has been lovely.

Lizzie, I'm sure your kitchen looks lovely with your nicely treated worktops. Your poor physio. That sounds like very bad luck, but I hope he makes a good recovery.

I'm sorry, but I will have to go and lie down in a darkened room, with a cold flannel over my eyes until the vision of presents being wrapped in holly wrapping paper disappears. Please don't start panicking, everyone ...

it's 101 days until presents need to be wrapped.

Good morning.Feels autumnal out there.

I've got an appointment at Specsavers in town this morning, so looks like being a spendy day.
I only wear them for distance and i get reactalites.
Not going shopping,after specsavers we are going to visit hubby's sister and husband.

Dinner is beef stew i took out of the freezer yesterday. Hubby has requested dumplings with it.

This afternoon I am going to visit my mum. It wasn't the easiest of visits last time, so I hope today is better.
This morning I will walk into the village for a few things, mainly cards from the card shop.

Nanto, I can't remember when I last ate dumplings! My mother always made them with stew. Will you have to choose new specs? I got these in June, they are titanium, so light I hardly know I am wearing them.

I have been to the sport school, I decided to finish with 10 minutes on the cross trainer instead of on the exercise bike, oh dear, I did sweat!!

I was going to visit my friend, but, decided that was not a wise thing to do, I don't know if there is covid in the home but I don't want to have to cancel my operation next week.

Instead I am sorting the last things out of my wardrobe that are too big, mostly blouses as I never got round to that.

I will know more about the physio tomorrow, it is his wife that does the treatment for my arms and legs. She is giving a reception in a local restaurant next Saturday to celebrate 25 years in the business, I have told her I don't know if I will be there or not, it depends on how I feel.

Good morning everyone. It's a bit chilly here as well at the moment.

Nanto, I hope your trip to Specsavers isn't too expensive, but it's nice to have some new frames.

Lizzie, I think after 10 minutes on a cross trainer would leave me needing to sleep for a week! Well done. Yes, very sensible to avoid possible Covid contacts this close to your op. It's nice to be sorting out clothes that are too big, instead of ones that seem to have shrunk!

Gem, I do hope your visit to your mum goes better this week. It must be very upsetting when it doesn't. How does DD3 feel after her good night's sleep?

OH is just going out to a meeting, and I am going to DS2 and DIL's shop to get some photos printed - I didn't have time the other day. I'll take Eva with me, then if I have to wait I'll call in and see Cooper. Eva and he are always happy to play together! I don't know if GD1 is back at school or not, but if she's not DS2 will have stayed home with her.

Had a rush this morning and an early, for me, start. I had to get the car to the local garage for an engine oil change. Sil picked me up later but went to the wrong garage, I was just at the local garage. A bit of a nuisance as he got caught up with the schools. I am now almost falling asleep typing this, time for a coffee. GS2 (the bridegroom) is arriving from London today.

Oma, I hope the wisdom tooth extraction going smoothly. Try and have a quiet day.

Well got to Dentist ,she numbed it , then had to numb some more as it hadn’t worked ,
got the filling out then tried the tooth ,
It wasn’t moving so she broke it in 4 pieces still wouldn’t budge .
Its moulded in my jaw

Eventually she admitted defeat and has packed it and referred me to the dental hospital
said will have to cut my gums and remove from the bottom.

Gave me antibiotics as said there is still some infection there , warned me I will be in pain but has no idea how long I will wait to see Hospital dentist ,
Great just what I need 🙄😢
