its DD and GS1 coming to York
They dropped Dog off and of course GS went out with pocket money to spend from me and GD 😁

DD will be a bit nervous feeding him on that side at first once her infection goes I can imagine ,
Hopefully she’s enjoying being a mum now it must have been difficult to start with , I know it was for Clare feeling so poorly at first .

    Lizzie
That poor girl and in this heat ,
    I don’t envy her do you ,
I carried my DD when it was very hot in 73 I remember my feet and hands being painfully swollen and not knowing where to put myself .

I very rarely buy prepacked sandwiches I think they are a rip off but we couldn’t think what to have or have the inclination to make anything , serves us right for being lazy 😁

    Plant
hope your not lifting anything too heavy at the tip ,
How is SILs arm now has it recovered fully
Hows the tummy any better xx

    Daisy
you wouldn’t think Fin had both Meningitis and COVID before he was 3 weeks old
he’s bright as a button , 9 weeks now and he was trying to get Bs glasses , if he could control his little arms and hands yet they would have came off 😁

Did you sleep well last night , is Eva being good in this heat , Storm is sleeping a lot conserving energy 😁

Lizzie, there are only certain antibiotics you can take whilst breastfeeding.
It looks as though DD may have to go to hospital. She saw the GP again today who suspects an abscess

Gemini, your poor DD, at least the baby is doing well. I hope they can sort that breast infection so they can get on with being a family without the worries they have had.

Oma, I like the Hoisin Duck wrap from Waitrose. I suppose GS is on his holidays and needs spending money. Fin sounds like a cheerful little chappie and is doing well.

WG, what a transformation your house must be, you certainly have been busy. I shall have to go upstairs in GS’s house to see if I can spot you in your tub. Lovely for you to have your son visit for a couple of weeks. I met Carol, your DD’s friend at a family party a couple of weeks ago.

Clover so lovely to hear from you, what an upheaval you have had to keep you busy. I hope the medics will be able to offer some suitable treatment for your illness to slow it down. Are you still working for your ladies?

I went to the tip, the paper and card bins were very busy but managed to get rid of mine. With air.con car and air.con shop it wasn’t too much of a chore. My tummy is better now, thank you Oma but the GGC I was with on Sunday have both been sick. I had lovely conversations with my GGS he is just five and although a pickle he can be very serious. He kept saying, (you are old aren’t you GGM) I think he thinks I was born old, didn’t like to tell him he will be old one day. Because the weather was so hot whilst they were here, indoor games were found in the cupboard and played with. I think I will get in the AC car and go back to Waitrose, I am feeling so hot. Baby H is here I must go in and see her.

Really dark here Lizzie and we heard thunder a while ago. We have brought the sun loungers and cushions in and closed the parasol over the table.

I needn’t have worried about the plums, went to pick some today but they had cooked on the tree, I think the deer are eating them.

A five minute shower here this morning.

Plant, yes I still help my lady with the housework two mornings a week. It’s just one lady now as her disabled sister passed away a few months ago.
