Good morning, Oma, I do hope that it goes well for Finley, Oma, I am really enjoying myself, I am pleased I made the decision to come, we all get on so well together.

Good Saturday morning everyone! (I hope I've got it right today!)

The sun is shining here, so I hope it is for everyone else.

Oma - I hope Fin's results come back promptly. At least then they will know what they are dealing with. The best news at the moment is that he's alert and taking his bottles, but my heart goes out to his mummy and daddy who must be besides themselves with worry.

Gem - how lovely to hear you are feeling a bit better. I'll join the other naggers and say take things easy, and don't get over-tired. I wonder why that bug hit you so hard, when S recovered so quickly. Take plenty of time to build up your energy levels again. Sending hugs.

Plant - those muffins sound delicious, could I try a blueberry one, please? Just in the interests of market research, of course! I hope you and your family have a fantastic party - relax and enjoy it.

Lizzie - I'm so pleased you are enjoying your UK holiday. It sounds as though you have all picked up where you left off so to speak, even though you haven't seen them for a long time and a lot has happened.

Nanto - very happy 50th your your DS2. Will you have a celebration when he and his OH get back from Edinburgh?

We're nearly ready to go! OH spent a lot of time yesterday doing things like batteries and flushing out the water pipes. He's got to do it again today, and I want to clean the windows inside, then we just need to put everything back in the van and we're ready to go tomorrow. We're hoping to be able to go and see some good friends who moved to Somerset in 2019, but with Covid and other things we haven't been able to get together. Other friends are coming down and staying Friday night with us, so already our week is getting busy. But we will definitely leave time to relax and do some walking. I'm taking my paints and intend to get at least one picture done!

Good morning everyone (although it will become post-noon before it posts!)

Oma, thinking of Finn and hoping for the best best for him.

Lizzie, I'm so glad to hear you are having a good time.

Nan2, Happy Birthday to your DS. I hope he has a great time in Edinburgh.

It sounds a lovely busy time at yours Plant.

        Daisy, happy caravanning!

I'm still struggling to get enough food and water down, but am definitely slowly improving.
Thank you for the warnings not to overdo it. There is no chance atm. Having a shower and walking downstairs completely exhausts me!

DD and GS1 are coming later this afternoon, which will be nice.

I hope everyone's Saturday is going well.

Daisy, Hope you have a good journey and get settled in ready to enjoy your much awaited break.

Gemini, you have had a bad time, don’t rush things. Your will enjoy some company this afternoon, I would imagine your GS1 has been worried about you and will be pleased to see you.

I am feeling so anxious for little Finlay, I hope there is some good news soon.

Lizzie, sounds like you are having fun with your family, lots to talk about I am sure.

Marquee is up, the sun is shining, forecast is for some rain, fingers crossed.

WG, pleased you enjoyed your sit by the pond, it is a lovely spot and the cafe do lovely sandwiches, love their bread, they sell it in the cafe it is from a local baker. I wonder when they will completely open their doors. Puzzled why you were visiting the Infants School? Hot tub sounds good and you have been busy getting your house fixed to suit you.

Plant, one of DD's friends teaches there and she's persuaded me to go in and help with reading.....and by the sound of it, other things as well! So I had to take in all sorts of ID for my DBS check! Hopefully, the documents will be through in time for me to start in September. The cafe was certainly busy when I was there.

Been to the football club Fun Day and it was better than I expected! Won 6 bottles of beer in the raffle and had a couple of glasses of one of the Dad's home made rum punch! Warmed the cockles of my heart! The rain started just as everything had finished and I hope it stays off for Plant's party tonight. Taking DD and SiL to the local Indian restaurant. Would have taken GS as well, but he's at the cinema with the girlfriend!

Hope the poorly people are soon feeling better, those on holiday have a great time and that there is good news of baby Fin.

            Enjoy your evening ladies x

Oma, thats not good about the mix up. Pleased his temperature is back to normal.

We had a good day in Wakefield. Had a coffee when we got there.
Went to the bank to pay some cheques in,but the machine wouldn't let me do it.
I was only using the card from another bank. Got there in the end.
Bought a few bits in the town, then went for dinner.
                Shopped in Sainsburys then home.

WG, sounds like you had a nice day.
Hope Plants party goes with a swing.

Oma - how frustrating for C and M not getting the results today as expected. Poor C must be in bits, what with all the worries they've had about her health, the traumatic birth and her hormones must be all over the place. It's very good news that his temperature is back to normal. How high did it go?

WeeGranny - what a lovely day it turned out to be. Will you drink the beer? I must admit I like the sound of the rum punch! It will be lovely to help with reading (and other things!) at the infants school. You used to help out at the junior school in your old home, didn't you?

Nanto - sometimes you don't have to do anything earth-shattering to have a good day. Coffee and dinner out sounds ideal, and I'm sure you were also thinking about your GS2's birthday.

Plant - I do hope that rain holds off, but the marquee will make all the difference. Have a wonderful time and congratulations to DD and SIL for everything they're celebrating.

Gem - I'm sure seeing DD and GS1 today will have lifted your spirits. I hope so, anyway. xx

We have had a day of getting the caravan ready and trying to remember how we used to fit things in. We have a new neighbour on one side and she and her elderly dad were cutting down dead plants from the brick wall at the side of her garden yesterday. The were going to put all the wood in the car to take to the tip, but OH could see it wouldn't all fit in and lent them our trailer. (Her dad's car has a tow bar). They were very grateful, but accidentally broke the connector when they tried to take it out of their car. They were so apologetic, but accidents happen, but we couldn't connect our van up without this part. Our neighbour G has Amazon Prime and straight away ordered a replacement which arrived about an hour ago! Holiday saved! OH and neighbour from the other side have just gone out for a test drive. By the way, ma - I've no idea what colour the car is supposed to be but it looks quite nice.

Oma, I hope the news if Findlay is good and they are able to go home.

Daisy, Happy Holiday, the weather is supposed to be good next week.

Weather was fine for the family to get the marquee up and for the first part of the party but then we had torrential rain. GD2 was so poorly she and her partner couldn’t come. GS2 came without partner on Friday with two miniature french bulldogs he was looking after for a friend, they proved to be a bit of a problem. Too much food so we shall be eating that today. I slept very well in GD1,s old bedroom, they slept okay in mine. I have my place back now and the sun is shining and I am enjoying the quiet.

                              Good morning ladies.

I'm so happy that there is such positive news on the baby, Oma. What a brave little fighter he is. Hoping for the best for him.

Nan2, how is your GD? Has she had any twinges yet?

Thank goodness for Amazon Prime Daisy!! Have a lovely well deserved holiday

Plant you will appreciate the peace today I'm sure.

WG, I remember you used to go into a school to listen to readers before the pandemic didn't you?

Another recuperating day today. OH will be on the golf course for a while this afternoon helping some of the newbies. Two friends are calling round for a short visit around 5. I am scintillating company atm, so I hope OH wil be back!

A quick "hello" from me, as we're just leaving. The signal at the campsite is 'patchy' (their words) but I'll pop in when I can.

Oma - Fin is doing well staying alert and normal temp. Love to you all. I hope you do get some answers today. xx Happy birthday to GS2.

                                Gem - take care. xx

Plant - have a wonderful day.

Nanto - glad the graphic sorted itself out.
