Wondering how baby Finlay is today, thinking of you all Oma.
Daisy, so pleased you have found a window to use your caravan. I hope GD1 is having a good day today.
Gemini, I hope your doctor is able to help you to get rid of your tummy problems.
Going to a coffee morning today, picking. Up a friend. I have weighed out all the ingredients to make some muffins for a cake stall at the Village Show tomorrow.
Daisy, the chlorine in the water drys my skin and makes it itch. Sea water is good for psoriasis as is the sunshine. I keep reading articles hoping to find the right treatment. One article recommended vitamin D so I shall get some today. There are many form of psoriasis, mine is Guttate Psoriasis

Good morning everyone.
Oma, all our thoughts are with baby Finley. It's natural for his parents to worry they could have done something differently. I'm sure all parents think that way. He has had the very best of love and care, it's nothing anyone could have prevented xxx
Lizzie, once DD3 went to Hull uni our lunch stop on the way there and back was that pub you and I met up at. That or tearooms at Langlands garden centre. Some may wonder why we needed to stop on an hours drive, but it was our tradition. I so wish I could have met up with you this time
I hope you have a nice time at the coffee morning Plant.
Daisy, and am very happy about the caravan holiday!
DD2 and GS are coming round after school . GD will be at her friend's for a sleepover. GD can have his tea here to help him feel things are getting back to normal.
OH has gone for her mammogram.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good Saturday morning. We've got sunshine and it feels a little warmer today.
Oma - I woke up in the night thinking about Fin. Is there any further news? I suppose they have to wait for the results of the tests to some extent. You're right - there's nothing either C or M could have done to stop it or spot it earlier. Things change so quickly with babies and under 2s. If he's feeding, that's good news.
Plant enjoy your coffee morning. Does it make any difference to your psoriasis if the swimming pool uses non-chlorine treatments like Baquacil?
Lizzie - I hope you're enjoying your holiday.
Gem - Good luck to S for her mammogram today. I hope you don't get too tired this afternoon, but it will do you good to see DD2 and GD. How are you feeling today?
Glamm - I had to smile at Oliver's antics. He's a smart cat, picking the best places like that. I'm sure Jim enjoys having his company. Are you starting to plan you next holiday yet?
I told GD1 we were going to be away next week and said that OH wanted to do some fossil hunting. Her face lit up - so I think we know what to take her as a present when we get back! Hopefully GD2 will enjoy them too.
I'd better get on with cleaning the van - I sorted out some of the cupboards last night, but it needs a good clean!

Hope all the poorly people are soon feeling better and that you have good news soon about Fin, Oma. Worrying times for his family.
Daisy, enjoy your break. I love that area of Dorset.
My old computer has gone to the computer heaven and I have treated myself to a new laptop which is all singing and dancing! The computer man says to write down anything I don't understand and he'll come back next week to talk me through any problems!
Gradually getting all the jobs done in the house. Blinds fitted and awning being done next week. Electrician been and hopefully sorted out the problem with fridge and put up my new light fitting over the table. Loft boarded and ladder in place. Climbed up once with a couple of little things, but decided it and for thwould be more sensible to wait until someone was here to help me! Hot tub will be installed when I get back from Scotland ( it's just an inflatable one, but the solid ones would have taken up all the space on the patio!). Bushes have been cut back and I can see space in the borders, hopefully the grass will grow back where the branches overhung the lawn.
Off to Scotland next Friday, Easyjet permitting, for niece's wedding. Got all the gear, just have to hope for good weather. Am staying up there for a few days afterwards to stay with family and have a mooch around.
GS's football club Fun Day tomorrow.....really looking forward to that (Ha!Ha!). DD took my fold up chair today to save me carrying it as I'll walk down the hill to the ground. Hopefully it won't rain!
Plant I hope it stays dry for your 'do' tomorrow and the village fete. I had a coffee on the green when I was up at the infant school, very good coffee....and cake and it's lovely to sit by the pond.
Have a good evening everyone...and thanks for my Birthday wishes xxBelieve you can and you're halfway there.

WeeGranny - wow, you certainly have got those jobs sorted out quickly. Where are you flying from? I hope it all goes smoothly.
I seem to have had a busy day, cleaning the caravan, Portioning up dog food and trying to make each portion as compact as possible to get into the van's tiny freezer. Our neighbours came round and we sat in the garden for a drink, getting in to the holiday mood. Tomorrow we're going to take the new car and caravan out for a trial run. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly.

Fingers crossed for the caravan tomorrow Daisy
You certainly have been busy WG! It will do you good to go to Scotland.
I hope baby Finn is comfortable Oma.
It was lovely to see DD and GS this afternoon. She said I am looking a lot better. She said she'd told her sisters after seeing me last weekend me that I looked very ill.
Today was the first day I could imagine getting better, and maybe being able to do things next week. I really had no hope before.
Having said that I am extremely tired after the visitors, so it's goodnight from me.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Thinking of baby Fin and his family, hoping for some good news today.
Nanto, enjoy your day in Wakefield, nice to have a mooch.
Cakes already for the cake stall at the Village Show, I will drop them off as soon as I am dressed. I made blueberry muffins and white choc. Chip muffins. Had to taste one yesterday, yummy. Might hold a bag back for the GGC. GD, her OH and baby H are moving into my place for the night so baby H is away from the noise. I shall go next door.
