We have watched quite a lot of the TV coverage Plant.

Thanks Oma, easy safe labour and healthy mum and baby is definitely what we want

Glamma, Oma will probably have a paint suggestion for you. Not long now until your holiday!

Today we had a lazy late start. We did some gardening and put up two strings of solar lights. I am having a family gathering to celebrate my birthday next weekend, outside if the weather is fine, and we have been meaning to put the lights up for weeks now!

Gem, your mum looked happy on the photo.

Lovely baby photos Oma. He's certainly a cutie.

It was quite cold today when we were out. In fact it was like going back to winter.
Hubby got the grassy plant that he wanted. Not my cup of tea but he likes them.

              Good morning.No graphic this morning.
It seems they are under attack from hackers. My security stopped me from going there.
Looked elsewhere, but a lot want to charge now.

Light rain this morning. June certainly sn't bursting out in our neck of the woods.

                Good morning ladies.

Yes Nan2, I see there are problems with glitter graphics. We will miss them a lot if they can't be accessed
Miserable morning here too, maybe it will brighten up.

SS, who is OH's golf friend and my aqua friend, is coming for lunch. We are having roast chicken. Unless there is a turn in the weather we wont be sitting in the garden with her this afternoon!

                Happy Sunday everyone.

Good Sunday morning everyone. It's rained overnight, and is dull, damp and cool this morning with more rain in the forecast. Not great for the Big Jubilee Lunches going on.

Glamm - I had to laugh at the thought of trying to juggle the milk bottles, but it probably was entertaining to watch in a sort of Charlie Chaplin way. Oma - waddling like a duck is about right!

Nanto - I got the 'hackers' message on Glitter-Graphics last night. I hope it's fixed soon.

Gem - I bet your lights look lovely. We've promised ourselves some lights now the garden is starting to look better. I also fancy some lanterns with proper candles. What a sweetheart your GS1 is being so generous with his cuddles.

Plant - I bet your GD2 enjoyed looking after baby H. How is your GD1's MIL, is she still in hospital? You're very kind, lending your GS2 your car to go to the wedding. I hope they all have a lovely day.

Glamm - you are well-organised for your holiday. Not long now. I bet the lights etc over the Mersey were spectacular. Enjoy your cake and coffee this morning.

We're hoping our little gathering in our cul de sac doesn't get rained on this afternoon. We're thinking about putting up our gazebo in the back garden, or maybe just inviting our neighbours into our house. We'll see.

Have a good day, everyone, whatever your plans are. xx

Oma - you posted while I was typing. Yes, I thought the Paddington sketch was so sweet, and loved the footman's face when Paddington splattered the cream on him. There's always been speculation about what the Queen carries in her handbag - now we know!!! (No spoiler in case anybody hasn't seen it.)

DD and Sil back from holiday, GS and his partner will be back today with my car. Did any of you watch the Jubilee concert last evening. I thought it was very mixed but the light effects were amazing. How they managed to get all the staging set up in the time they had. Lovely speeches by William and Charles. Our Queen taking tea with Paddington was a bit of a surprise, lovely.

Enjoy your lunch with the family Oma. Holiday getting very close. I wonder how the new parents are, I expect they are gazing at Finley in wonder.

Plant - we watched part of it. The sheer size of it was incredible, and OH and I were talking about the amount of organisation that must have gone on behind the scenes to get all those performers on stage, with their sound systems and lights. It all seemed to go very smoothly, although I confess I didn't recognise everyone.

Good morning, there has been rain here, there was more to come but at the moment the sun is out. DS1 has asked me to go to their house for dinner this evening, I will see what the weather is like, maybe my clean, shiny car will have to get wet!

I hope it stays dry for all your celebration teas!

Daisy, I thought opening with Queen was amazing. Didn’t know a lot of the performers.
