Good Bank Holiday morning. The sun is shining through some clouds, so fingers crossed it stays dry for whatever plans you have this week-end.
Plant - after your very busy few days, I'd leave the chores and relax. But if you must - a bit of pottering in the garden would win over the housework!
Gem - poor DD3, she must be very unsettled not knowing where she will be living when baby arrives. Enjoy your get together tomorrow. How is your knee now? What are you planting in the containers?
Oma - Clare must be so fed up. I hope they don't send her home, apart from anything else having to travel back to the hospital when you're having strong contractions would be awful. Maternity services are so different from our day, aren't they. When I had DS1 my waters broke just a couple of days before my due date, and they sent an ambulance to take me to hospital, on a Sunday evening. It was routine to stay in for 10 days after the birth, and my MIL was scandalised by this because she was in for a full 2 weeks after each of her 5 children! I'm sure the actual medical care is much more advanced now, but the care for the well-being and comfort of the patient seems to have disappeared.
Nanto - it will be nice ot have your hair done for the week-end.
Today seems a bit odd - it's a Bank Holiday, but a lot of things seem to be 'business as usual'.
I'm going to make the most of the weather and do some gardening, but I'll have to catch up with housework sooner or later!
