    Morning Nanto / Ladies

enjoy your lunch out Nanto .

Up early and stripped beds ,B took the kids to Airport at 5.30 DD just rang flight delayed till 11. 50 so could have stayed in bed a bit longer .

Got sorted then took Storm out for a walk , I knew I wasn’t up to par but by golly I didn’t realise it would tire me as much as it has , Doing it twice a day for 10 days should build my staminer up again 😁

Football fever has hit everyone up here with Sunderland being at Wembley , B will be watching I won’t .
I don’t mind him watching football as long as I don’t have to listen to all the ins and outs .
He doesn’t watch much so when he does I do other stuff .

How is everyone today , well I hope and doing nice things xx

What a shame your family have to wait such a time for their flight Oma. Now don’t overdo the walking with Storm. Does he still go to Doggie Day Care? Very pleased to hear the results of B’s tests were good.

Nanto, enjoy you day in town, will you be looking for anything special?

Lizzie, you were very pleased with your accommodation, good idea to book it again if it suits you.

Didn’t have much of a rest yesterday, I spent it with GD and baby H. I did a small shop in Waitrose and we had some lunch there. Slept like a log again.

Good morning, I have been for a walk, so many slugs on the paths after the rain yesterday.

It is summer market here in the village, I have just had a walk round, I bought some strawberries and that was all it got.

Oma, go steady with walking Storm.

I am not a football fan Oma..My veg stall won't be at the market here in the village on Wednesday as the grandsons, they run the stall now, are all going to Albania to watch Feyenoord play, travel to Munich by car then flight to Albania.

Gem, I hope all goes well with your knee.xx

Plant, it is a lovely B&B, not in the house, 2 separate apartments built from an old apple store, the breakfast is in the house and the rest is in the apartment. Plus, a fantastic view of the gardens and friendly people.

          Good morning all.

Eating out is always good option in my book Nan2

I hope your DD and SIL have lovely holiday Oma.

Plant, I'm glad you slept well, hopefully you can recharge your batteries over the weekend.

Well I had my steroid injection in my knee this morning, actually done at the GP surgery. My first visit to that surgery, which I finally registered with a few months ago (after living in this village for 11 years!) A very nice man did the injection. He said they would hope it would last for 3 months, which my last one certainly didn't. If not then I am to get back to the surgery and then other options can be discussed. At least I feel I am back in the system again. My previous GPs were not helping me at all.

I am supposed to stay off my feet as much as possible over the next couple of days, so I will!
We are going out with friends tonight to celebrate OHs birthday. Apart from that they is nothing much I need to do.

In other news my sister has been poorly and was actually taken to hospital just before we went away. Blood tests didn't show anything and she is much better so is back home today. I'm so glad as hospital would be so confusing for her,and general ward staff are not equipped to deal with patients like her. I will go and see her next week.
DD3 has a potential moving date in June when she will be 37 weeks pregnant. This is stressing her, and the family have promised that we will all be around to help pre and post moving day.

I had a Lidl box to pick up, so much fruit and veg so got a bag packed to take to DIL1, I was on my way when GD1 phoned and asked if I fancied walking round the summer market in their village, I was going there anyway soI went with her, a lot more stalls than then one is this village so we had a good walk round.

Oma, My SiL and GS were there at Wembley, but they were supporting Wycombe! Seemingly you could hardly get on a train there were so many people going. DD dropped them at a tube station somewhere! Last night I watched the final game of the season for the team which SiL coaches and GS plays for. They'd already come top of their league, but the opponents had to win to avoid relegation. They did by 4 goals to three. Afterwards SiL had booked the local pub and bought them all hot dog and chips. I've never seen food vanish so quickly! It was lovely to watch them all together because they go to 9 different schools, so they don't see each other on a daily basis.

GS will be down after losing the game today, but GF is going round there, so that should put a smile back on his face!!

Today I have my car back and have been for a little drive. Went to the garden centre and got a couple of plants. I have a couple of raised troughs, one is full of wild flowers so I'm going to put some vegies in the other one and see how we go. I also got a lovely hanging basket for the front of the house. Need to get a box for the front window sill but that can wait for another day. I got some sweet peas as well.

Hope your knee responds well to the injection Gem and that your sister has recovered. Gem, hope too that DD3 has a stress free move. At least she's got plenty family around to help.

Hope everyone is well, have a good evening xx

I was up very early , everything done had a shower put towels in wash and I have just had Dog out for a walk ,
My back and legs are screaming at me but it was lovely and quiet he got to watch a squirrel running up a tree and was crying because it wouldn’t come crown to play 😁

Got to go over DDs to feed and clean cats and feed garden birds ,

They arrived in Mexico 5 hours late but they got there , DD said it was 80 in the shade and when they stepped of the plane it hit them .
                            Far to hot for me

They certainly do look like brother and sister Oma. Now don’t you go overdoing things.

Sunny here, I am going to do a bit of weeding to tidy the borders, they are so dry still, I will give them a good watering this evening.

WG, you are putting your stamp on your new abode. It is lovely that you can join in family events.

Village Voice booklet arrived yesterday, lots of events on our common, I would love to go to some but I couldn’t walk up carrying a chair. DD and Sil back from holiday then I am sure they will give me a lift up.

                              Nanto enjoy your baby shower.

Gemini, I hope your sister will be back in her home soon, how old is she? I hope that injection gives you pain relief from your knee, amazing how different doctors treat patients.

                                Good morning ladies.

A baby shower is a lovely happy thing to go to Nan2

What a nice picture Oma, and I agree with you!

WG my DD1 had some raised beds made in her back garden which she is enjoying planning. Mostly veg crops I think.

My knee does feel easier, and they said it could take about 3 days to feel the full effects.
Friends J and M are coming for lunch today. J is is vegetarian, so no Sunday roast. Sainsburys are bringing a delivery between 11 and 12. with NO ITEMS MISSING I am amazed.

                                Have a good day everyone.
