Gem - I like Elliott as a name. A very good choice. So pleased they are going home - I'm sure your DD will be happy to sleep (or not!) in her own bed tonight.
Oma - that recurring fatigue must be draining. It's not just the actual fatigue, it's the not knowing how you will be from one day to the next that makes it so hard.
Plant - glad your DD and SIL have made it! We drove round the ferry terminal going away recently, and it's not very big but it's a good route.
Our visitors arrive tomorrow (Monday) for just over a week. It's OH's youngest brother and his wife. They usually come out of season but OH's eldest sister and her hubby are celebrating their Diamond Anniversary next Saturday at a hotel just down the road from us - we're all invited for lunch with them. It's also the New Forest Show Tues, Wed and Thursday this week - held in our village - so it was easier for them to arrive before the Show starts - the roads will be gridlocked. We're taking them to the Show on Wednesday, so hope it won't be too hot.
So a busy week ahead.

Good morning, Daisy, I hope your visitors enjoy their stay. The show sounds good, it is many years ago that I visited a show!!!
Gem, my nephews DS2 is called Elliott, I like the name.
I have been to the gym, almost back to normal, I am eating better and I have my energy back!
We have just had a slight shower, well, a few drops of rain.
I have some sewing to do later, a friends eldest son from his first marriage is getting married, his 2 youngest have both got suits, but, one is very thin and his trousers will fall down so they have asked if I can take them in, they are going to Thailand on Wednesday so I suggested they take them with them and get them done whilst they are there, they had thought of that but as M put it, they would end up in the case that goes missing!!!! It won't be much work and I enjoy doing it.
Morning ladies
We had the biggest rain storm we have had for a long time last night , the heavens opened and dumped it all on us 😁
At least the plants didn’t need a watering😁

I used to get all the alteration jobs too when I could sew , I loved making things ,
Now I can’t hold scissors and cut in a straight line or thread the machine so I gave it all up sadly
I bet they appreciate your skills
Good to hear your eating better you need to build up your strength now xx
Gem
I hope they all slept as well as they could last night although with a new baby you tend to lay looking at them all night don’t you , just the thought of that little miracle being yours ,
I wonder what his cousins make of him when they see him 😁❤️

Good morning everyone.
It has rained here but the sun is trying hard now.
Daisy you will be busy with the visitors. Have you thought of opening your own B&B ?
I'm glad you are feeling better Lizzie and getting your strength back.
Oma, a good nights sleep is good news. GS will appreciate the cake
Baby fed on and off between 11.30 and 5am! SIL then took him for while and DD got some sleep. Last I heard he was in his crib asleep so SIL was making breakfast. They needed someone to collect some things from the pharmacy, so DD1 is going. We could have, but I wanted someone who hadn't met the baby to go. Everyone is dying to meet him. GS1 is beside himself with excitement. DD said she had never seen him get dressed so fast!

Gs 1 been for tea he arrived about 1.30 absolutely dripping wet ,
He was on the golf course when we had another torrential down pour ,
had to strip and wear Grandads dressing gown till I tumble dried all his clothes , even his underwear was drenched ,
He has had to borrow Bs trainers to go home as I have had to put his golf shoes in the boiler cupboard ,his golf bag and golf clubs are on a towel in the utility drying out , he will collect them tomorrow .
He was way out away from the club house when the rain started so no chance of keeping dry , he was like a drowned rat bless him 😁
Hes been fed had his cake and now gone home dryer and happier than he arrived 😁
Our friends C and P dropped in this afternoon with a card and present for new baby GS3. Very kind of them.
I had just fallen asleep on the sofa! Once fully awake it was good to see them.

Daisy, DD, Sil, GD2 and her partner have gone to Normandy for a week and a day, seems very quiet here. DD sent me a message to say they had arrived. The problem with using the Poole crossing is it is a very early start as they only have one crossing, but they only have an hours drive the other side.
Gemini , my GGS is called Elliot but with one t, Nice name. I hope they are home soon so they can get into a routine. So pleased you were able to see your DD and baby. he rest of the family must be dying to see them.
