Good morning,, it is the same here Nanto, very windy with rain.

As from next Friday all the covid rules will be lifted, so, I can carry on with my gym etc, I am pleased, not only for myself but for everyone. Try and get back to a normal way of life.

      Good morning all.

Good graphic for the weather Nan2.
It's not too bad here just now, but set to get worse over the day.

That is good news Lizzie. Some sort of normal life has to go on. For myself I will be glad when the library drops the masks rule. Staff and volunteers in all branches wear them and it's very hot when you are working or even talking! I often change mine during my shift.

We had a power cut lat night at around 8. The whole area including street lamps was plunged into darkness! I think it lasted 10 to 15 minutes.
Aqua this morning. I'm not staying for coffee as I have to be home by 11 to attempt to book a Disney restaurant for us all for Easter Sunday lunch! Today is the 60 day window when booking opens, and it opens at 11 UK time. Apart from that we plan to stay at home and hide from the storm.

I hope everyone is well and Plant's hand not too sore. Stay safe until the storm passes!

Good morning everyone. It's calm and even a bit sunny here at the moment, but it's due to get windy about lunch-time.

Sum1 - I'm also thinking about you and T. xx

Plant - I hope you've had a good sleep and your hand isn't too painful. Take care. xx

Lizzie - what a relief it will be to get back to some sort of normal when the restrictions are lifted.

Gem - I'm not sure why some places are still using masks. I think people should be left to make their own choices now. I know not everyone agrees with that, but they are so uncomfortable and such a barrier to communication. Good luck with your Easter Sunday lunch booking.

Nanto - lovely graphic. Doesn't it make a mess when bins get blown over!

Stay safe everyone who is in the path of the storm.

I'm going to do a bit of gardening this morning, then dog training this afternoon.

Hope you don’t have to go chasing your Bin , Tomorrow it’s forecast high winds and we have to put MILs out for collection on Friday
we only put it by her front door because she lives up 2 flights of steps and she is 87 the bin men take it down and bring it back .
I might leave it in the alley way down side of house and ask next door to bring it out Friday morning for her , save it being blown over .

Gem I do hope you get booked , not long now
            Enjoy Aqua xx

Oma - we posted together! Poor SIL. I hope they can ease his back pain. As you say, when you're self-employed you can't be sick! Thank goodness he's got a partner and someone else who can do the heavy stuff while he recovers.

Enjoy your day with Storm. Will the weather bother him if it gets really bad?

I bet the squirrel is laughing his whiskers off!

Eva's doesn't like the random noises when it's windy. She gets very unsettled.

I hope all goes well for you and T today Sun. Our thought are with you both.

WI this morning, I was intending to go but am having second thoughts. My fingers are swollen and hand is a bit painful. I haven’t been able to get a lift and feel I should try and rest it. Also all the family are going to the Albert Hall to see Circus so lei for my DD’s 60th birthday on Sunday, we are having a box, I feel the less contact I have with others the better, would hate to pick up Covid and not be able to go. I have a food delivery from Waitrose tomorrow so will not starve. My two GGD’s are next door today so I shall be happy to see them.

Gemini, No news about the house sale? I hope it will be completed soon. Your trip to Disney is getting closer and exciting.

I hope the weather will not be too bad for you Northern ladies, seems very quiet here atm.

Love the flowers Nanto, I hope the wind will not blow them away. Take care with that wind blowing. No dinner today?

Lizzie good news about the restrictions being lifted soon but we still have to take care.

Oma and Daisy, we can wear masks if we want, I think in the public transport we have to but not sure about that yet. It will be strange getting back to a new normal after 2 years! I have just booked lunch for myself and the GC in their holiday week. It is at the dry ski place where we used to go to practise many years ago, it has new owners and they have a good restaurant so I have booked.

Plant, take it easy and stay safe so that you can all go to the circus.

Gem, good luck with booking the restaurant.

I finished my class at 10.30, went to the changing rooms, dried, dressed, walked to the car park and drove home, in time not only to make the 11am booking slot, but also to dash to the loo, and get myself a drink of water! I had to keep refreshing, but at 11 am slots appeared for lunch so we are booked for Easter Sunday at The Rainforest Cafe. The kids especially little GS2 will love it so I wanted them to experience it.

                        Oma, poor SIL

Daisy, we can't enforce the mask wearing for our customers at the library , although most do wear one. As staff and volunteers the rules are that we should. It's pointless, as on Tuesdays we share part of the space with busy pop in in centre with people coming in for lunch. The volunteer catering staff are in our space, and none wear masks.

Lizzie, that will be a treat for you all.

Plant, maybe a rest day today is wise. The solicitor is on holiday this week! Honestly, you couldn't make it up.

Oma, hope SIL gets some relief from the back pain soon.

Gem, glad you managed to get booked.

This morning hubby was talking to a friend of mine who lives in the next street.
Haven't had a good natter with her for quite a while.
She stayed for a cuppa and we were chatting for about 1½ hours.
It was lovely for both of us to catch up about our families.

Oma, so sorry to hear Sil has hurt his back. I do sleep okay but the fingers are swollen and the pain is like toothache. DD folded my washing for me asnd I found I had a special sleeve protector to wear in the shower, it was at the back of the bathroom cabinet.

Gem re solicitors......I had an email from mine this morning telling me the he has ' diaritised' me for a phone call tomorrow afternoon! Do you think the younger generation make up words? The people I'm buying from are suggesting completion Mid-March!! I've said that's too early and the solicitor agrees. It's all very quiet on my buyers' side so have no idea when they want to move. Removals man in this morning to give me a quote another one coming next week and my old chairs have gone to be replaced by the new ones arriving tomorrow. Found a missing knife down the side of one of them but sadly, no money!

Wind is blowing a hooley out there now. If it's this bad down here, I dread to think what it must be like for those further North. Stay safe ladies. Batten down the hatches as they say at sea. However, it did dry the washing very quickly!

Hope all the poorly people soon feel better. Take care xx
Believe you can and you're halfway there.
