Good Morning everyone, well thats it for another year after today.I am going to pack up the xmas ornaments today and take down my half xmas tree all ready for my DGD to put back in the loft.
I am not taking the lights off the outdoor tree you can't see them when they are switched off so I will just take the batteries out ready for renewal next year.

My DD fainted when she was coming home from work and has scrapped both knee's and hurt her shoulder her knee's are a right mess poor girl, its a good job my DGD met her off the bus or she would have been taken to A&E for god knows how long, after going to the chemist the next day he checked her BP and it was a wee bit low so she has an appointment at her Dr's to get checked over she has however gone back to work today even though I told her to stay home and rest she swears she is OK.

Enfys I can relate with you to going into places on my own but things have improved for me slightly I will go into local cafe's for coffee but if I fancy a meal out I will ask my friend if she is available as I feel self conscious eating on my own.

I have now registered with 2 x animal rescue's looking for a little dog they are both local to Liverpool/Chester I have said I would even foster if they where desperate for a home maybe if someone was in hospital etc they where very good when I spoke to them.

I'm going to get on with some housework today I have been lazy the past few days and need to get the duster out the sun is laying low today and show's up dust everywhere so I'll have to have a blast through with the long handled feather duster thingy me bob as usual Oliver's foot prints are right across my glass coffee table he just doesn't care where he plonks himself, on Friday he sat on my lap top and sent the setting haywire & I had to get neighbours son in to fix it for me as I am clueless

Off now to start the dreaded dusting and putting away dec's talk soon take care everyone x glammax

Just read all your posts, such busy happy ladies. Love the sound of your frosty crunchy walk with Storm Oma, I wish we had some frosty weather, it is too mild for January.
Clover, your visit to your DD family sounds busy, just what you need. Lizzie, were you happy in your dream and disappointed when you woke up. Gemini, very envious iof your blow at the coast, could do with my cobwebs being blown away. Daisy, you seem to have really made friends with your new neighbours (are they the ones going to the Jazz with you?). Nanto, what a strange lady your Fil’s Daughter in law is.

I was only at Dil and sons for one night, my DD and Sil will be back today. All my decks are down and away, I could do with getting the fluffy thing out and the thing on a stick but as my mum used to say, I am not expecting the Queen.

Clover, the panto I saw before Christmas was down yesterday due to covid. Today it runs without the two main actors who are awaiting PCR test results. The other York panto was off for over a week due to so many cast testing positive.
I hope your DD feels better soon Glamma.
I hope you win something Nan2!

We had a lovely seaside trip. The sun shone most of the time, and as we were well wrapped up we were never cold. Filey was busier than we have even seen it.
We gave up trying to find a parking spot in the end and drove to a beach with no amenities. Well it has a cafe, but it was closed until April
We had a good long walk on the beach, and stopped at a fish and chip restaurant on the way back. It did us good to get out.

There are enough people for the quiz tonight, so I will be quizzing later.

Good luck with the quiz Gem.
Glad you managed to get out today. It does you good to get out sometimes.

Gem, I'm so glad you managed your walk on the beach, despite Filey being full. Fish and chips were just the job after all that fresh air. Hope the quiz is going well.

Oma, it's your fault it's raining up there then! Cleaning doors and windows is the equivalent of doing a rain dance!

Plant, I hope you resisted the temptations of the fluffy thing and the sucky up thing. Yes, Plant, we are so lucky with our neighbours, and we've had a lovely afternoon in an old Forest pub with a history of being a smuggler's Inn in days of old, with a roaring fire and excellent food. Needless to say I had fish and chips and they were fantastic. Sadly no music - we'd got mixed up with the dates, but it was fine, we had a good time. It was nice to get out. We took the dogs as well, and Missy lay under the table like a good girl. Eva wanted to say 'hello' to everyone, but settled down eventually!

Glamm - how is your DD this evening? She really should have taken the day off work after fainting like that. I do hope you find a little dog in need of a good home, but it's kind of you to offer to foster and I'm sure the rescue centres appreciate that. Did you get your housework done? I pushed the sucky up thing round downstairs, but will have to do some dusting soon!

Clover - you are having a busy time, but it sounds fun, even if it is hard work for your DD with cast and stage crew going down with Covid or self-isolating. I hope they don't loose any more of the team to Covid.

                    .

                    Morning ladies
Well we were up very very early , 10 past 4 this morning B fell out of bed ,
Banged his head on Bedside drawers hit the floor smashed into my floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobe door and shattered it
Bottom bit all broke and a huge crack right to ceiling ,
They were custom made when i bought them and the place is not there now so may have a problem getting a replacement, if so will have to have 3 new doors made

Main thing is apart from a bruised wrist and a bit of a bump on his head he is ok ,
Honestly there is never a dull moment in our house

Gem hope you won in quiz ,

Daisy sounds a good night , of course Eva wants everyone to say hello and show how beautiful she is

                    Its very frosty here ,
Hope everyone is feeling ok today xxx

Good morning, Oma, poor B and your mirror, it must have been one #### of bang. Maybe a glass installer has a solution.

Oma, saw this on Facebook earlier. Glad B is OK.

                            Good morning everyone.

Nan2, we may be having jacket potatoes with tuna today. We are determined to only use up food we have in until a Tesco delivery on Thursday. It will be that or ham and cheese omelette!
Poor B Oma What a shock for you both. Good to hear he isn't badly hurt.

I was the quiz winner last night
Reflexology for me this morning, school pick up for GS1 this afternoon.

Around here I notice at least half of the Christmas decorations and lights seem to have disappeared over the long weekend. The rest will presumably stay until 12th night. I will probably start the process tomorrow and finish on Thursday morning.
                            Have a good day everyone.

Good Tuesday morning everyone, as the world starts to wake up again after Christmas and the New Year.

Thank goodness the whole world didn't wake up like Oma and B though! Honestly, Oma, there is never a dull moment in your house. I do hope B is ok and no after effects. You can get mirrors cut to size - talk to your lovely picture framer as he may have some ideas. But perhaps you should have a safety barrier instead! Give B a gentle hug from me. xx

Oma - Eva thinks everyone should love her!

Gem - we're eating up whatever is in the fridge and cupboards as well. We've still got cake, and haven't started the Christmas cake yet, and various odds and ends I shoved in the freezer rather than throw away. I need to get things sorted before Sainsburys come on Friday and dog food on Saturday! Enjoy your reflexology and well done on winning the quiz.

Nanto - I love jacket potatoes with tuna. OH will have cheese as well, but I just like a salad with them.

I want to get on with my hare painting today. I'm struggling with it trying to make the background look interesting. So I'm going to paint in the hare today (gulp) and then see if that helps.

It's much colder here today, and I've run out of sunflower seeds for the bird feeders.
