Oma, what a shock for you and B, must have been quite a bang. I hope you find someone who can replace the glass.

Gemini, Well done for winning the quiz and enjoy your reflexology today. All my decorations are down now, just the cards still out.

Daisy, night-out sounds good, you will have an excuse to go again as you missed the music. I hope Eva didn’t try to get on anyones laps. Good luck with the Hare painting.

Nanto, jacket potato sounds like my sort of food.

Dentist for me today, nothing painful. When I go to the dentist, there are some really nice cafes nearby and I often stop for a coffee or lunch but I feel it would be too risky atm.

I have cleaned all the windows, inside and out. I can see through them again.

I have those doors Oma but not the mirror one. I hope you can get what you need and manage to stop B falling out of bed!!

Daisy, good luck with the painting, I was on the bike yesterday and thought about making a blazer for myself, I have the material, I came home but can't find the pattern I want so it will have to wait. As for the food, I think everyone has too much in house for the festive season.

Plant, I hope it all goes well at the dentist.

Lizzie I hope you find the pattern you want.

Plant I hope all ok at the dentist. Have you got an appointment for the sore patch on your hand yet?

I hope the hare painting went well Daisy.

It is SO cold today!! I'm glad it wasn't this cold yesterday at the coast!
No martial arts tonight so at least I don't have to go out again.
OHs golf committee meetings have gone back to Zoom again for the time being, so she is in the warm too, upstairs.

The outside temperature was under 3 degrees here today and at times the rain was like snow. I got very cold when I was out, came home, put the heating on high and kept falling asleep.

It's gone really cold here as well. The wind didn't help either.

Lizzie - I hope you can find the blazer pattern you want. That sounds like a really difficult garment to make. What kind of fabric have you got, and will you have to line it as well? I bet your windows are all sparkly now!

Oma - I hope you don't have to replace your wardrobe doors, but better safe than sorry, and it's impossible to get mirror glass clean, isn't it! I bet GS1 was delighted to get a lift home tonight - first day back at college and freezing cold. Is he enjoying what he's studying?

Plant - glad the dentist wasn't painful (unless it was pocket-painful!). I find it very tiring when it's this cold, so I can understand you getting nice and cosy and falling asleep.

Gem, do you feel better for your reflexology treatment? I bet you were pleased you didn't have to go out again for martial arts this evening. Was GS1 happy to be back at school? I think a lot of organisations and clubs are doing zoom meetings again - OH has one tomorrow night.

I painted the hare in roughly, and managed to get the eyes in, although they still need details like catchlights. I painted snow on some trees I wasn't happy with and they look a bit better. I'll try and do a bit more tomorrow. After lunch I took Eva out. It was too cold to go too far, so I was only out about three-quarters of an hour. Then this evening I made bread, cooked liver treats for Eva, and then cooked dinner. So quite a productive day.

                  Keep warm everyone. xx

Good morning, Daisy, I have made a lot of blazers, coats etc over the years, yes I line them, I will take a photo later of what I have made. The material I have is like paisley pattern, I get my patterns out of books I have, only my friend has a few so I will have to wait to get them back.

It was colder here yesterday but still 5 degrees. I went to get the service done for my bike, had a walk round a closed shopping centre whilst waiting, it could be another month I have heard before anything is allowed open again.
When I got home my brother phoned me, after all those lost years I enjoy our chats.

Have you found a replacement for your cupboard door Oma?

                      Frosty this morning.

I've got chicken and veggies in the slow cookers. Had to get the little one out as well as the big one.
There was so much, too much for just the big one. A least we will have plenty for the freezer.

No plans for today, will just go with the flow.

Daisy, your painting seems to be coming along nicely.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

                        Good morning ladies.
It is Wednesday! With a return to my more usual routines this week I finally know the day.

Lizzie, I'm sure your brother enjoys his chats with you too.
Daisy GS1 was not happy to go back to school. In his mother's words he was Furious!!! That's him though, he will adjust back I'm sure. He was as happy and chatty as ever when I collected him.

                        Library for me this afternoon.
This morning DD2 is coming to work here in my ex therapy room, which is now GD's room when she stays or just wants space away from the boys, and acts as Zoom meeting room, and random family working here room She needs to leave the car at garage near here for the morning so that is the reason.
Shepherds pie from the freezer for tea tonight, with sprouts, in the spirit of eating food we have in.

                        Happy Wednesday everyone.

Good morning Lizzie, Nanto and all who call in later.

Lizzie - I look forward to seeing photos of your blazer. The fabric sounds very attractive - I like Paisley patterns. Everybody must be getting fed up with the lockdown. I hope it's not as long as another month.

Nanto - You must have the best-stocked freezer in the country, and it all sounds delicious.

It's bright but cold here this morning. Dog training starts again this afternoon, so I'll just take Eva for a short walk this morning. I also need to order dog food and do a few other online jobs, but I'll try and get at least half an hour on the hare picture!

                          Have a good day, ladies.

Gem - our posts crossed! I'm surprised GS1 was so upset at going back to school - he always seems to enjoy it, but perhaps it's the change from one situation to another that bothers him a bit. At least he was happy when he came home. A busy day for you, but good that dinner is already prepared!

He likes to make a fuss Daisy! Not for me but for his parents. He had a phase of not going to school on Mondays I was on the verge of stepping in and offering to do Monday mornings when it settled down.

Good morning Nan2 I didn't see you there either

Gem - It's amazing how many children will do things for granny that they won't do for their parents. I'm sure they were relieved when he got over the "no school on Mondays" phase.
