Good Afternoon ladies! It has been a long and trying ( and tiring) week and I haven't had the chance to get on here. Tomorrow is the first day since Wednesday when we won't be in a hospital setting ( I'll write about in in YEO later) but we're back again on Monday!

Our break in Scotland was really enjoyable, but busy and I realised how much I missed not being near to my family. But heigh ho, I'm lucky that they're not on the other side of the world!

DS has finished his isolation period and his covid tests were negative, so he's very pleased he can get out and about now.

Bit cloudy and muggy here now, the rain earlier was only a few spots.

Take care ladies and enjoy the rest of the day. Off to see if I can get a grocery delivery, the fridge is looking rather bare , especially with DS here! xx

Gem, your day out with family sounds ideal.

Oma, well done for GS getting a job until September.

Haven't had any rain here. its bright but not sunny.

WG, glad you enjoyed your trip to Scotland. Pleased DS tested negative.

There were no empty shelves in Asda today, i got all that i wanted and more.

Enfys - it's much fresher here now. It was quite sultry first thing, but there's a bit of a breeze and less cloud - it's been quite sunny for the last couple of hours.

It will be sad going into your DD's neighbour's house, but how kind of her cousin to offer your DD something to remember her by. I hope you can find somewhere for your green waste - would a couple of plastic garden sacks do?

Plant - I would have slept through the storm too if it hadn't been for the rest of the family! But it sounds as though you had less rain than us.

WeeGranny - good to hear from you and I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to your family in Bonnie Scotland. Your DS will be pleased he can go out and about now. Constant hospital trips are exhausting, and you must be feeling the strain - I hope you got a delivery slot to save you going shoping.

Nanto - good to hear the supermarket was well-stocked. All the tales of possible shortages lead to people panic buying and that only makes things worse, but hopefully that won't happen.

I've very bad-temperedly (is that a word?) done some housework this morning. It does look a bit better - just the other half of the house to attack now!

It will be sad for your DD Enfys, but a kind thought.
That job sounds ideal for GS1 Oma.
I hope you are enjoying the Olympics Plant.
          Welcome home WG!
Daisy, don't mention that Autumnal word!!
Good to hear the shelves were not bare Nan2

We had a lovely day out I have written about it on the Travel section. The sun shone, which was NOT forecast, so we were very lucky!

Well, it’s been a lot warmer this afternoon. I was expecting more rain as forecast but it didn’t happen.

DD and I went into her neighbours, it was so sad to see all her belongings still there But DD saw a couple of framed prints of old Bournemouth which she like so she chose those. She collects old postcards and books on the history of our town so it was a good choice and I know B would be happy for her to have them.

You were lucky with the weather Gem, 🌞

Cloudy this morning. Don't know what the weather forecast is.

Enfys, the prints of old Bournemouth sound like the perfect keepsake for your DD.

No plans for today, will just go with the flow.

                Good morning everyone.
Pretty much a go with the flow day for me too Nan2.
OH is in a golf competition this afternoon.
Friends are coming for lunch tomorrow, so I must do some housework and maybe a trip to a supermarket once I decide what we are having!

                Enjoy your Sunday ladies.

Good morning, sunny now but thunder storms forecast late this afternoon.

Enfys, the prints will be lovely and cherished. It must be difficult going into someones loved home after they have passed away.xx

WG, you would enjoy visiting your family north of the border. I do hope all is well after all the hospital visits. Pleased to see you DS tested negative.

Daisy, it helps to get annoyed to do some housework.

Oma, GS will enjoy earning some money for himself, has he chosen a car yet? They grow so fast don't they.

I may go for a bike ride but always very busy on a Sunday, even DS2, a very keen cyclist, he was out last Sunday and said he has never seen so many cyclists.

Oma, she loves the bike, I haven't heard yet if she has the crate, it is ordered but they are away to the boat for the weekend.

I got a Too Good To Go box at the Lidl opposite here yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised, so much fresh fruit etc, new potatoes, avocado's snack tomatoes oh and fresh tomato puree? to make soup of sauces with.

                              Morning ladies.

Very warm here. Yesterday we had one brief shower but then just a very heavy day. It looked and felt as if it was going to rain at any minute but it didn’t. I was hoping for a good downpour just for the garden!

Lizzie that looks like a lovely Lidl box but it’s a shame about all that plastic.

No plans for today.Might watch some of the Olympics if there is something I fancy.

Hope everyone has a good day

DD and Sil arrived back safely, GS2 and his fiancé came back too and returned DD’s car. They decided to go back to London after a meal, they thought s dsy at home before they go back to work would be good and their cat will be pleased to see them. They will be back soon to look at wedding venues for next year.

Gemini, loved the pics of you and your family on the beach, pleased for you that it wasn’t too hot.

Oma I am sure B will find a nice car for GS1, it doesn’t seem possible that he is old enough to drive.

Very overcast here, I have a pair of trousers to shorten so will get that done.

Lizzie, I am sure your GD is enjoying her new bi
