Good morning all.
Thanks Nan2, we have our fingers crossed. There were two viewers yesterday and three booked today. I will get some feedback once they have all been round I think.
Plant, I can tell you get so much love and joy from your familyI hope the sun shines for your day today!
No plans for me. OH will be at an away golf competition. I think it may be a combination of housework (not too much) sorting through some of the boxes we have brought back here from mum's, and relaxing!
Happy Thursday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Before I go to the picnic, I need to pop out to get some bananas and some cash. Lovely and sunny so far, hope it continues. Things are hotting up for the wedding, we are holding our breath waiting for the next announcement by the PM.
Yes, Oma you need to protect your boot, I have a black plastic protector in mine, just a cheap one. How did the shopping trip with Mil go?
Nanto, good to get the men out of the way if the hairdresser is coming. I am sure the men will enjoy their shopping trip. Is your Mil too fragile to go shopping.?
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning , I hope you enjoy the picnic Plant, and like you, I hope aqua is soon open.
Like you Oma, expecting a parcel, I have just been to the village, I was there early as they have special 7 o'clock offers once in a while, the televisions and airco units were very popular but I wanted Nike sport leggings for GD1.
My foot feels much better even after the first day so I hope it helps. I feel I am walking better.
I have cleaned my kitchen cupboard and sorted mugs etc out, I don't need as many now the dish washer has gone, to think of it, I didn't need as many anyway. I was taking them to the garage for the second hand place, they are all bone china and not chipped at all, I met our cleaner, a Turkish man, always very friendly, there are 2 of them, brothers, anyway I asked him if he would like them as they are all as new and he was delighted.
Jus thinking Oma, I had a good cover for the boot etc when I had a dog, I used it when I was doing plants etc, I wonder what I have done with it? I will find it in the garage.
I got a slice of water melon from the shop so I will go and cut it up.

Lizzie we have a rubber lining its anti slip but need a cover that will go right across when we lay the seats flat as we have a lot of stuff to take ,
Good to hear the foot is already feeling better but take it easy give it time to work to its best , you must be fed up with it ,
Nice that the cleaners could use the mugs , your good deed for the day
Plant she was a nightmare as usual but we got what she needed after she dragged us from shop to shop
She hasn't rang to say she has changed her mind about the cushions so that's a good sign
Not long for the wedding so excitingIm not fat just 6ft too small

Oma,we have a vinyl liner for the car, but hubby still puts a cover down if we have to move stuff.
Lizzie, pleased you have less pain and can walk better.
Plant, menfolk not out of the way when hairdresser came. She cuts hubby's hair as well.
Hubby taking dad to Aldi in about an hour.
Plant, MIL doesn't get out of bed now, only to go to the bathroom.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Lizzie, great news about the foot improvement! Don't overdo things though.
Nan2 I want to pop to Aldi too. I think I'll go this afternoon.
I hope Plant is having a nice picnic.
Fine day here. I have two lines of washing out and OH will be on the course so I hope it stays nice.
Lunchtime now.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hello everyone. I'm a bit late to the party today - I'll explain elsewhere.
It's been a glorious day - warm and sunny - AT LAST!I hope it was the same for Plant's picnic.
Lizzie - I'm so pleased your foot is feeling less painful, but be careful not to overdo things 0 no running that Marathon yet! I bet the cleaners were thrilled with the china mugs.
It sounds like haircut day today. I hope you are all proudly showing off your new hairdos. xx
Nanto - I didn't realise your MIL had taken to her bed - I'm so sorry, it must be very hard on you and your FIL.
When I got my current car OH wanted me to have a boot covering thingy for it, but I said 'no'. I just put a waterproof sheet down under the layers of dog bedding and towels, but we do tip runs with OH's car and the trailer, so it doesn't really matter."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. Daisy, MIL took to her bed some weeks ago.
I feel sorry for dad, because he does the cooking now.
Nothing adventurous,just plain cooking.
Mam complains sometimes saying it not cooked like she used to do it.
I always say to her, everyone has their own way of cooking things.
Sometimes dad will say,get out of bed and make your own meal when she complains.
She shuts up then.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Gem - I bet it was a novelty for S to be playing in sunshine instead of the wet stormy weather we've been having lately.

Indeed it was Daisy I'm sure!
There is lamb shank in red wine gravy, cheddar mash and veggies waiting for her when she gets in, and glass of wine of beer if she wants it, so she can put here feet up after the playing and driving (she always ends up being the one giving a lift to a partner on away matches!)“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
