Good Sunday morning early birds and those who call in later.

Lizzie - your poor friend. The fall must have really shaken her - it all happens so fast, doesn't it - and the cut on her hand must have been large to need 5 stitches. I hope she's not too shaken up today, poor lady.

Nanto - enjoy your lunch and seeing your visitors, of course. My OH was talking about car boot sales yesterday. I dread him going - he's supposed to be selling but you never know what he might come back with!

Gem - what a shame the previous owners of your DD1's house got the levels wrong to end up with water under the deck. But a big well done to S for getting it all sorted. My OH made long troughs for tomato growing using decking planks. I can't remember how long ago it was (7 years, possibly more?). He lined them with tough plastic and they are still in perfect condition. Each trough holds between 7 and 8 tomato plants (some grow bigger than others) and I've also got parsley and chives in them. Enjoy your social afternoon with your friends. I hope the sun shines for you. x

Good Morning ladies,up bright and early this morning 6-30ish chicken in roasting and all the fresh veg into the steamer, since I have been taking CBD oil I have been sleeping much better and waking up feeling refreshed I hope it continues I only take 6 sprays x twice a day the lowest that is recommended but seems to do the job for me.

The washer has been on and all the whites are outside on the wirley gig thing at the bottom of the garden the sun stays in the back until about 3pm so all the towels will be dried by then.

My youngest DGS is calling in today to clear the bottom of the garden by the bird tables and pull up any weeds that have grown up along side the edges where the artificial grass has been laid he will clear the front for me and trim the edges that go onto the pavement it is well worth the pocket money I pay him he does a better job than the gardener that used to call, after he has done mine he has been booked to do my neighbours next door so double the money for him this week if he feels energetic enough I may ask him to clean my car for me but that may just be a wee bit to much,he is keeping his cash for train fares back and forth to see his girlfriend every other week-end she lives in Uttoxiter (sp) and they seem to get on very well .

DD is calling in this morning on her way to Farmers Market in Crosby Liverpool, her and her partner like to travel locally to the FMs we have quite a few not too far away she does get some lovely produce marmalades/chutneys etc some of the stalls come over from Wales.

I have had no reaction to my 2nd injection but I have heard a few younger people have had nasty reactions after having their 1st jab very strange isn't it ? I wonder if this poor people have not had the flu jab on a yearly basis and have not built up antibodies in their systems ? ( another one of my daft ideas) but you never know

After my youngest DGD called in with her daddy on Thursday off she went for the walk home with her scooter they live 20mins normal walk away from me my son rang to say they had arrived home 1hr.10mins later she stopped talking to everyone who would listen that she had been to see her nana and watered her plants and I was not lost after all as the week before I was out when they called and she was convinced I had got lost on my way back from the shops, bless her .

Must go DD has arrived may try and get back later xx

        Good morning Ladies ,
Nanto love the little Blue cat

Gem how is S feeling this morning any aches ?
The decking will be lovely and its even better when its free

Lizzie your poor friend always best to have it cleaned too as it was a litter tray you don't know what germs are on it . It must have been a nasty cut to get that many stitches '
Hope they get the compost today then her herb garden can get finished , its a ideal use of space too .

Daisy how are you after your domestic goddess marathon yesterday ,so nice Eva has a doggy friend

DD was out yesterday came home to find a injured pigeon walking around her kitchen following Storm and Buzz sniffing its feathers ,

GS1 had rescued it and put it in garage with some food but Storm can open the internal door and let it into kitchen ,
Lucky for it Buzz isn't a hunter cat and Tallulah was asleep upstairs , it has a damaged wing so DD taking it to our local shelter today they take in all sorts .

Nothing much on today , B making veg soup then going to start painting a couple of radiators one in utility and kitchen one , I want them Anthrasite Grey
we were going to buy some but my friend said her DD had painted hers so we giving it a go ,

Have a good day everyone xx

Oma, she did have a tetanus injection, I have been in touch and the hand is very swollen and stiff but she slept well!

Glamm, what a lovely GS to help you as often as he does.

That is a good idea Gem, so much goes to waste if there is no other use, I often pass skips when people are renovating etc and I think "oh dear, what a shame"!

Daisy, we lined the troughs with that tough plastic first and there are tomatoes in the bottom trough.

Oma, when we had our old radiators I was often changing colour.

Gemini, well done S and your sil for dealing with that decking and nice to know it isn't going to the tip.

Glamm, I am so pleased your GD found you, she sounds a little darling.

Grey radiators sound great Oma, grey is a very in colour, My radiators have been painted a couple of times but never changed the colour, maybe next time. I hope they can mend the pigeon.

Daisy, how nice for the dogs to have fun together, at least they will not be barking at each other either side of the fence. One of our neighbours has a very yappy dog and it didn't stop yesterday, their children scream a lot to

Oma my friend painted her radiators grey they look very "on trend" she paints all sorts her latest project was spraying a very well used chandelier which she had in her home for years she sprayed it silver it looks so good she has hung it in her work room so very posh when she is sewing bits and bobs.

Lizzie most of the shops were open in Wakefield. One or two were closed.
I'd say 95% of the cafes were open.
Not sure how many are open/closed in our town.

Glamma, pleased you had no side effects from your jab.

On Thursday i ordered 2 cardigans,2 tops and a skirt from Damart.
They were delivered by Hermes an hour ago. Damart never used to be so quick.

What busy little bees we all are! It must be Spring.

I took the dressing of my cheek this morning and it started to bleed. I was warned it might and to put pressure on it for about quarter of an hour. So I laid on the bed and nearly fell asleep again. There's a nice bruise under my eye and a sore-looking crater where the lump was removed. It doesn't hurt though, so I'm very lucky.

We pottered round this morning and then took Eva for a run in the paddock. As always we spent longer out than we expected and didn't have lunch till 2.30! It's a beautiful day, but I don't feel very energetic so I'm having a lazy afternoon.

Visitors left about ½ an hour ago.
Boyfriend was a bit quiet, but its the first time we've met him.
Seems a nice enough lad though.

Oh Daisy, take it easy, you should be being waited on until you heal !
I'm glad you had no adverse reactions to your jab Glamma.
                        That was quick delivery Nan2.

We had a lovely afternoon in the garden with 3 of our friends. Although offered beer and wine etc all opted for cup of tea As I had made butterfly buns this morning this was a good choice It was so nice to socialise in a group again and sitting down, not standing on the drive! The sun was so hot we had to bring parasols out

Good morning, a lovely morning, I had a headache all day yesterday so didn't do much! I do feel better today so I will be back to normal.

Daisy, I hope your face is less sore this morning and soon heals.

Gem, you would enjoy having the friends in the garden for a visit.

Nanto, the young bloke would feel strange meeting everyone for the first time.

DS1 phoned late yesterday afternoon, I forgot something and phoned him back, I put my phone away and a few minutes later the door bell went, the friends from downstairs asking if I was alright???? Somehow or other whilst putting my phone in my pocket I had phoned them, how I did it I do not know, they couldn't hear anything, just strange noises so came up to see if I was in need of help!!!! Very sweet of them, I told them now I know that if I really need help they will be there!
