Plant I remember the first time we took GS2 out in his pram , I had to in the end ring DS to ask how to get the pram frame down to get in the car , they are so difficult
Hope all was well with Mummy and baby xx
Grauntie - we eventually had some blue sky as well, but the temperature was still arctic. We have no snow and the air is really dry - humidity this morning was only just over 40.
Lizzie - you are very good making sure you get exercise, and I' sure I should be getting more!
Oma - I bet you got detention from your DD! You were bound to get caught out one day, and it just had to be on a cold, dangerously icy day! Storm does love the snow, doesn't he!
Plant - you're certainly not alone in struggling with these complicated 'travel systems' babies seem to need these days. I had a carry cot on the transporter and a very easy fold down push chair for mine - I've never mastered any of the over-engineered buggies the GC s have had! I hope everything was ok with little H. How much does she weigh now?
Gem - I'm glad you were in and out of the dentists so quickly. How is your tooth now?
My OH is the only member of the family who watches football - neither sons nor any of the GCs have the slightest interest. I don't mind watching rugby or cricket but football holds no interest at all!
Apart from hoovering round and doing one load of washing, I've had a lazy day. I'm sure this cold weather makes me feel tired and I don't feel like doing anything. Perhaps I should hibernate!

I had the same problem with a buggy when GD1 was young, I took her to a shopping centre with a multi storey car park, opening the buggy was fine, returning to the car I got GD1 strapped in her seat but could I #### as like get the buggy to collapse! After a while a young mother came and rescued me! I was practising all week after that to get it right.
My tooth is fine Daisy. She has fixed it with more filling composite, hopefully it will stay. I wasn't charged which was a pleasant surprise
Lizzie, there are so many types of buggies and ways of opening and shutting them. No wonder we grannies get caught out!
I have offered to collect GD and GS2 again today. It gives me, and the car, a drive out! I have some flowers and sweets to drop off for my mum on the way back.
Tesco delivery this morning, but I may miss out on that excitement as it is due while I am out.
Keep warm and safe whatever you do today.

Morning ladies
By but its cold this morning ,
Nothing much to do today Morrisons shopping to come and some bits and bobs but nothing that cant wait .
How are you ladies today ? hope everyone is good xx
Good morning early birds, and those who arrive later.
Oma - we've got our food delivery this morning, too. So exciting, isn't it!
Nanto - dinner sounds lovely - just right for a cold day.
Gem - thank goodness your tooth is ok. Fingers crossed for it. Have a lovely day with GD and GS2, but what a pity you'll miss the excitement of your food delivery.
Yet another bitterly cold night. There's a bit of frost but the air is bone dry and everything's crackling with static. I couldn't sleep lat night because I was so itchy - even paracetamol and half a tube of E45 cream didn't help. I know this won't be popular, but please bring back the rain! I don't feel like doing anything much at the moment, so I'll just ease myself into the day gently!
Take care everyone, especially if you're out and it's icy. xx

Gemini, pleased for you that the dentist was able to fix your tooth. Enjoy the day with GD and GS2, I am sure they will be pleased to come to you.
Daisy, my itchy skin is bad this winter but doesn't disturb me in the night. I use Cetraben cream prescribed by the doctor, seems to help. That very cold wind has dropped now.
My GD told me baby H's weight but it was in Kg, must ask again, we were just fighting with getting the car seat freed from the wheels. As you say, there are so many complicated buggies these days. H's cot can go up and down, can tip slightly and is on wheels, which is so useful. The high chair I bought her has numerous uses. Oh and the pram fits onto the same wheels as the car seat. GD and her partner are off today to register her birth. I think my DD was feeling a bit stressed yesterday, her other two lovely GC were with her for the day and they were a bit lively and she was trying to help GD fit the car seat into the car. GD and baby H spent the rest of the day in my quarters as it was quieter. GGS is into building a cave with all the cushions he can find and his sister likes you to play with her. Meanwhile my Sil is trying to work in the other SR. Wednesdays are a bit of a madhouse. So far GD's partner has tested negative but he is not working today, I hope he will find somewhere to get a test.
Oma has your DD banned you from going out again, she must have thought you were being so good but we knew better. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't pop around early again to catch you out.
Daisy, we don't watch football, We watch cricket, rugby and tennis, used to watch snooker, lost touch with the players now. Absolutely hate motor racing. I quite like to watch golf, love the setting of the golf courses.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
She wasn't happy Plant , I told her we go to Aldi very early when its just opened and no one about but she still isn't pleased with us ,
We are changing our days going so she wont catch us she drops Dog off on a Wednesday but we thought we could get away with it
When did we become the children getting told off for going out hahaha
To be honest I half expected her to ring this morning to check on us but she didn't
Good morning all.
sorry but this is just a flying vist
First of all thanks for the email.
Galmm so sorry to hear about Poppy
Forgive me if I am not updated as it were with all the news
I hope our ladies and their families are well
My news ( very brief for now) I am having my vaccine tomorrow afternoon and OH is having his on Monday afternoon.
On Wednesday we actually get to look around our bungalow. The decorators are in there at the moment and because of the very cold weather the paint is refusing to dry so they are running behind schedule .
We have been busy sorting out items we no longer need to charity as we are downsizing yet again!
When we do actually move we will be without Internet for a while so stay safe everyone and I will 'see ' you all soon
Good Morning Ladies (just) This morning I have had another telephone consultation with my physio it is so strange doing the exercises over the phone but I managed ok,another appointment next month. My back does feel easier for the programme she has set for me.
I have had a little visitor this morning my GD Willow and my son called by (on the path) to say hello on their way to visit the park and feeding the ducks then off to the swings for 1/2hr before going home for lunch, the little sweetie was asking to take Poppy for a walk but my son changed the subject quickly.Son has been nominated collegue of the year and Mr Sainsbury has given him a bonus cheque (not a lot) but when you walk into his store there is a huge picture of him he is so embarressed his pic is on display.
Mimi I hope your decorating gets finished soon and you can get the bungalow sorted for your move will you have to wait a while for the internet to be connected ? I hope not .
Weather here is quite sunny but certainly very cold I have had the heating on all day most days .
Well the new shoes from Hotter arrived and I was so upset as they where too tight and I ordered the same size as the previous ones and they fitted prefectly may be it was the style of them that made the difference,so all sent back this morning for refund.
Bye for now I'm still sorting the wardrobes and getting rid of things not worn for the past year or so up to now I have sold quite a bit on FB for the dogs home so will spend tomorrow posting more items, just thinking how much space I will have when all the isolation is over and go on a shopping spree again
