Daisy, I'm fine thanks apart for a rather sore arm.
I was like that with Wuthering Heights just wanting to get to the end so I could read something I enjoy!
I hope the rugby is enjoyable Plant. It's coming to something when our routine trips out to pick up tablets are counting as fun!

I have done some washing and light housework, time for more internet!

Plant - we got a humidifier just before Christmas. I haven't used it yet, but I will have to get it set up and going! I'm sure the dry air is the problem. We had a delicious aubergine lasagne made by our DS2 last night - and there's enough for tonight as well. I'm going to do chicken breasts wrapped in pancetta (streaky bacon actually, because that's all we've got!) to go with it. It's wonderful to have a meal someone else has cooked!

Gem - I'm glad you're ok, and I'm sure your arm will soon feel ok.

I've done some washing but that's as far as it goes today.

Didn't really enjoy my jaunt around Tesco.
Might have been better if i had been on my own, then i could have had a good look round.
I did get all i needed/wanted, but didn't get chance to see if i could get something different foodwise.
Ah well, back to Asda next week.

Tea sounds lovely Daisy. I agree it's so nice to have something made by someone else, especially in the current situation of not being invited out to eat in homes or restaurants!
We played Scrabble, chatted and watched some TV. We then printed off a returns label to send the new curtains back to Dunelm. We are both dunces regarding curtain measuring I will order some more in the correct width!

Nanto - what a pity. If it's not your usual shopping place you need a bit of time to find the things you need and then some more time to have a browse round for something different. We all need a bit of variety.

Gem, yes it was delicious, and I've eaten far too much.

I never know whether to measure things like that in imperial or metric. OH has problems with metric which is odd because he's really good at maths in general, whereas I'm rubbish! But with the width of curtains it isn't always clear whether it the actual width of the curtain or whether it's a window size allowing for 1.5 - 2 times for gathering/pleating.

Did you like the actual curtains - it was just the sizing?

We liked the curtains, they just need to be twice as wide!!

The new ones should be just perfect.

                    Good morning everyone.
Another exciting trip out to the vaccination tent, this time for OH's turn!

                    Have a good day everyone.

                      Happy Valentine's Day ladies.

Nanto - did you have a lie in? I always seem to be vague about the time these days, unless we've got an appointment for something. You've reminded me I must organise birthday cards for March - my DIL2's dad, DIL1 and one of my sisters-in-law.

Gem - I hope S's vaccination goes smoothly, and no after effects.

It's not quite so cold this morning so we'll probably take Eva for a good run in the paddock.

                        Happy Valentines ladies ,

                        Today is my DS's 40th Birthday .

                        Been busy this morning ,
B sprayed the oven last night so he cleaned that out this morning while I did general housework and Ironing , then had a shower and cleaned bathroom ,

I have had to put one of his Jumpers back in the wash went to iron it and it has grease marks down the front ,
I hate when that happens it has to be treated then washed again wastes so much time , only a little niggly thing but drives me mad .

Its not a bad morning very calm and not as cold
Up quite a bit during night kept getting cramp in my feet , every time I thought it was gone and settled they cramped again

Hope S is ok after her jab Gem xx
