Nanto - are you pleased with the cardigans? I find it difficult to get nice cotton ones - I can't wear wool and acrylic ones are usually quite rough and prickly.

Gem - I'm sure you were ready for a fairly quiet day.

Enfy - good news that everything went smoothly. Do you know which vaccine you had?

Plant - how did you get on with your jab?

I really was going to do housework today, but some friends called round to deliver something and we stood in the garden and chatted for a while, then our neighbour came over to see if we were ok and to have a chat it was lunch-time and then I didn't feel like going back to the cleaning. I did finish our bedroom and changed the bed, but everything else will have to wait.

I'm off for an early night - too much excitement today!

Enfys - I wonder if they will bring those second injections forward - there seems to be some suggestions that they might. Sleep well tonight. xx

Jab went fine, I was the last but one. Very well organized. He had a good look at my warfarin record book but was happy with my INR readings. I had the Oxford one so I didn't have to wait for 15 mins after it was done. I think I would have got lost if DD hadn't taken me.

            Good morning. Frosty again.

Daisy, i was happy with the cardigans. I got the same as i usually get.
Just got some different colours. They fit nice and wash well.

Plenty of jobs to keep me occupied, starting with the ironing.

Good Sunday morning everyone. We've had a hard frost overnight and now a delightful mixture of sleet and rain. Roll on Spring.

What a cheery graphic, Nanto - hearts and roses all day today.

The cardigans must be really nice if you have bought the same before. I love cardis, they're so useful and easy to wear, but find it hard to get exactly what I want.

Plant - I'm glad your jab went well yesterday, and what a good job your DD took you. It's no fun driving round not sure of where you're going, especially when you've got an appointment.

No plans for me today - whenever I do make plans things happen to change them, so I'll go with the flow. I've put a load of towels in the wash and need to get something out of the freezer for dinner tonight. It's a bit like a lucky dip in there - I must tidy it out! Not today though.

Have the best day you can, ladies. xx

                Good morning everyone.

I agree Daisy, lovely graphic to start the day.
Nan2, ironing and housework are always there to entertain us aren't they?
I'm not sure what we are having for tea Daisy. My turn to cook but I have all day to decide!

No plans here. We were considering a walk but it is even frostier than yesterday, and the forecast says it will barely make it above freezing all day! Tomorrow is forecast sun, and temperatures of up to 5 degrees!!! We will walk then.
We may be having video chat with a couple of friends at some point.

                Keep warm ladies!

                  Good morning lovely ladies ,

I slept well last night , well good for me anyway

                  Housework done and showered ,
Bought a rack to go on back of kitchen door under the sink to put washing up liquid and pan scrubbers etc in so B put that on this morning ,
Had our showers and I gave the bathroom a good clean after ,

Going to sort a couple of cupboards out in the kitchen swap things around try to make more room for stuff ,
I tidy them and then we get shopping and B just shoves everything in without thinking , totally ignoring where I say stuff should go

Gem its very slippery underfoot today , I would wait till it thaws a bit before going out xx

Plant how is your arm today ? my sister said her arm was quite sore the next day .

Enfys I also read they are thinking of bringing 2nd jabs forward , so you may get it quicker than you thought

Have a good day ladies xx

Oma, we are not going out for a walk until tomorrow
A day inside for us, apart from venturing to the freezer in the shed (me) and sorting birds food and water (OH)

Good morning, lovely sunny day here but I haven’t been outside so don’t know how cold it is.

Plant, I was the same, didn’t have to wait for 15 mins with the Oxford vaccination. I think they are only talking about bringing the Pfizer second dose forward, So don’t think mine will change. Feeling fine this morning, all good so far.

Had a nice FaceTime with DS, they e had 40deg today, far too hot for me. A big fire is raging only 3 miles from them, it’s being watched closely, but what a worry. I think I’d rather have our weather.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

Who ordered this snow, we must have at least 2/3 inch and it is still snowing. Looks very pretty but GD1 and partner should be going to the hospital today, 6 will update Yeo. So far no re-action to the jab. I had a really bad then good night. Was awake from 2 to 5, then went off until nearly 11am. Bit worried about GD. Will update Yeo later.

I am quite a tidy person and I like my cupboards to be organised. Tins on one shelf, packets on another in my store cupboard. I can't remember my OH ever putting shopping away, except his wine etc cupboard. It is time you educated B where everything goes. Is he a tidy cook or a messy one?

We have a dog missing in this area, he has been sighted but they think he is near here now. Lots of messages on our local website, people out looking for him when on their walks. He has been missing for several days now.

Enfys I hope your DS is safe from the fire ,
your right we may be cold but we don't have that to face ,
I bet everyone is watching carefully for any wind change , so scary xxx

Plant he likes to use everything when he is cooking but I don't mind washing up so I am fine with that ,
He drives me mad with the shopping and that's one job I hate, putting it away ,

We have re organised the cupboards and the fridge moved stuff to make more room , but as sure as eggs are eggs by next week I will be tearing my hair out when the shopping comes

We did go for a short walk in the end! The sun has thawed most of the frost on the pavements so walking wasn't bad. We had a birthday card to deliver locally, so I decided to get out of my comfort zone and go with OH. We did a round trip including Sainsbury's so I could pop in for Gaviscon and daffodils.
                              I need to walk more.

Good to hear the ladies with the jabs are feeling fine today.

I've been rearranging cupboard, drawers and wardrobes upstairs.
I did the ironing first though, got that out of the way.
Polished and hoovered the living room.
Kitchen, back porch and downstairs loo floors steam cleaned.
