Nanto - what we need is a few days' break, like Enfys!!

Enfys, it sounds just what you needed, and lovely to spend time with your DD, relaxing. xxx

EDIT - Sorry, Enfys. I didn't read the last bit of your post properly. I can understand you don't feel much like celebrating Christmas this year. It's only 4 months since you lost your dear P, and you've got to give yourself chance to be with your thoughts and memories. At least your DD and family are very close by if you do change your mind, but I think you're very wise to give yourself space. Sending hugs. xx

That hot tub sounds lovely Enfys, just what you need just now. Difficult decision for you about Christmas.

Just asked Sil about his brother. He is still in hospital, they have offered to give him plasma which is from previously infected patients, to help him fight the virus. Not expected home this week. I don't think he has had oxygen.

Lovely to see you from Devon Enfys!
The Zoom meeting sounds fun Plant.
Glamma and Enfys, these Christmas decisions are not easy are they?
Easy for us as we look after the GC every week so will not in fact be seeing anyone at Christmas that we don't see anyway. We intend to maintain social distancing. No hugging and kissing just because it's Christmas. We have managed this long without we can wait a bit longer!

No ironing in the Gemini household today!
We went to see my auntie, who as it was raining insisted we come in not stand outside! We did and kept our distance of course, and had a cuppa and biscuits with her. She goes for part one of her covid vaccination tomorrow, which I am happy about.

What a miserable day weather-wise many of you have had. We've had some heavy downpours (but not on the scale of Monday's drenching), but we also had an amazing sunset tonight.

We haven't got a very good westerly view from home, but by hanging out of the front bedroom window I managed to get a glimpse of it.

Gem - your aunty is such a sociable lady. She will be delighted when she can go out again.

Oma - you've been busy as usual! Cleaning out cupboards is hard work.

Plant - I'm sorry your BIL won't be home quite as quickly as he'd thought. I do hope he's ok and the plasma treatment helps.

Good morning, Oma, I don't mind cleaning, at all, but the kitchen cupboards, oh dear, taking everything out to put back in again!

I have a headache, unusual for me so hope it clears. DS2 phoned at tea time yesterday he had been working in the village and his car wouldn't start, he has a vintage Ford Bronco, went to buy it in Texas a few years ago, it is his pride and joy but wouldn't start yesterday. He asked if he could use my car then bring it back today as his will most probably start today, it has happened before, he got the AA out and 3 of them couldn't find the problem, they put it on a carrier and took it to a garage, the garage man phoned DS2 and asked what the problem was as it started the first time so he is hoping that it will start today.

Gem, how old is your auntie?

It was lovely weather here yesterday, I had a good bike ride and got some roses on the way home, raining at the moment though.

Good morning Oma, its Thursday today not Monday.
Hope your sister has a lovely anniversary.

Most of our decorations are done.

                      Good morning everyone.

Enjoy tree decorating Nan2, a nice job
Lizzie, I hope that headache goes away soon. My auntie will be 92 on the 27th. Three months younger than my mum (dad's sister!)
You will be tired Oma! Get some rest today.

This morning my friend M is coming round for coffee and Christmas card exchange. It's too cold to sit outside, so she will be in the well ventilated conservatory, and me in the dining room with patio door between open.
This afternoon I need to prepare the 2 bedrooms for the grandchildren sleeping over tomorrow night.
This evening we are going out!!! Unheard of these days. This in an event we were to go to on November 5th, which ended up being the first night of the last lockdown. The event was moved to tonight and all tickets rolled over. It's fireworks and hot air balloon glow. All socially distanced. You have a car space plus a space next to it for chairs should it we warm enough to sit out. It's coder now than in early November! We will take blankets and camping chairs in case we can sit out, or we can stay in the car!

Have a good day. Keep warm.

                        Good morning ladies.

Do you think it's going to be one of "those" days? Lizzie's got a headache, plus headaches over her son's car, Oma has had no sleep and thinks it's Monday, and Nanto went to make a post of tea only to be surprised by a bunny with spring flowers!

Nanto - I want to get our tree done today as well. I don't know if OH has other plans, but that's mine!

It's a sunny start to the day - I hope it lasts so I can take Eva in the Forest later. She's quite tired after two days with Cooper, so it will be just a short one, but I need to get out in the fresh air!

I hope the sun's shining down in Devon for Enfys as well.

Oma, I thought I was awake early! You certainly do spoil that dog! A shame you can't see your sister on their special day.

Gem, enjoy your evening out! They are few and far between!!

Good luck Daisy and Nanto with the trees.

I have been to the market in Delft, early, for cheese etc, very well organised and people keeping their distance, I wanted some bread and was stood in a queue, a pretty young lady was waiting as well, when a space was free she said " you was before me madam", I thought, what lovely manners, then we were both waiting and the boy went to help her first, I wonder why??? She said, very politely, " that lady was here first"!! I told her she has very good manners.

The sun is out now, I have been to the Turkish butchers to stock up on meat etc so will get that in the freezer and get out on the bike again. DS2 coming later today, I got them some cheese etc whilst I was there.

Daisy I bet eva although tired will enjoy her walk ,

Gem nice your friend can come into the conservatory , enjoy tonight it sounds good fun xx

I feel very tired now , I will have a nap after lunch , me and the dog , I will lay on the sofa and he always lies right next to the sofa when I do that

Morning all, late again, I have hairdresser coming later so must get a shift on.

Lizzie, why do you go to a Turkish butcher? I hope your DS can get his Dodge going again. Mum to the rescue again.

Oma, enjoy your day with Storm. Did the new bed feel strange and kept you awake. My OH liked a firm mattress so one side of the mattress says firm and the other firmer. I think one has to break a new mattress in. Hope you get more sleep tonight.

We have sunshine too Daisy, I am sure Eva will enjoy a run in the forest. I could do with some fresh air today.
