Plant, Edge and Opera are internet browsers.
When we ate at the garden centre on saturday,we had to give our details for track and trace.

    Lizzie,hope its nothing too serious.

Plant, it could be a strain, I hope it is.

In fact I hope you are right, last week at the pool we did move parts of our bodies I had forgotten about😏

Plant, you should have to leave your details for track and trace every time you go to a cafe or restaurant, unless you have pre-booked and they already have them.

As long as the covid test result is negative. Mum should be leaving hospital tomorrow

Lizzie - I do hope the ache is just a muscle strain or something similar - but much better to get it checked out. Or could it be related to your IBS?

Nanto - my OH hates changes to his computer or his phone! He really should get a new phone - his is practically steam driven - but he keeps putting it off! I've been using Opera for a while on my Mac after Yahoo hijacked Firefox. It's ok, but I did prefer Firefox.

Gem - that's good news that your mum should be leaving hospital tomorrow, all being well. I know it means you won't be able to see her so easily but it does mean she's making really good progress after having her operation. Has the care home made any changes yet? Am I right in thinking that going back to the home with a negative CV test means she won't have to go into isolation again? That would be awful if that happened.

Oma - poor B. I'm sorry he's still not well. Thank goodness it's nice and warm with all your windows open, or he might be shivering as well. Give him a hug from me, please. Yes we were in and out with the flu jabs - in fact the high street was blocked and I couldn't get to the car park so I dropped J off outside the chemists and by the time I'd battled the car into not much more than half a parking place and walked back, he was out. I comments to the pharmacist that he was very gentle - I didn't even feel it - and he said he tried to be because he always hated injections as a child and cried. I said my OH still does hate them, and he replied that, yes, J had been rather tense!!!

Fairyqueen - is Manchester losing its reputation for rain - 3 dry days together is lovely. Poor you, IBS is horrible, but I hope the screening is ok.

Enfys - well done on coping with the spider. It's funny how some things are scary and others are fine. You're doing so well - and getting your car insurance sorted out was good, too.

Plant - you've been busy one way and another. You seem to have got your latest knitting project done very quickly!

Daisy, I haven't IBS so hoping on a strain but as you say, better to get it checked, I never thought about a strain until Plant mentioned it!

Gem, hope your mum soon settles back in the home and that there are no Covid panics to stop you visiting.

Oma, poor B, you will be looking after him!

Enfys, well done sorting the car insurance out. I know only too well of everything that has to be sorted.

Daisy, I used Firefox on my Mac, I am using Chrome now but I had to get used to it as I prefered Firefox.

Good morning Lizzie and all who follow.
According our local weather forecast on tv, it said it could be up to 8degrees colder in some parts.
                Thats a big difference.

Oma, hope B feels better soon.

Daisy, your OH will feel like a pin cushion this week.
Hope his appointment goes well today.

                    Good morning everyone.

Several degrees cooler today, which was expected.

We have a free day, so planning to go out somewhere.
Fingers crossed all goes smoothly with my mum going back to the care home as planned. They said if DD1 can get the 2pm visiting slot, they would delay her transfer until after that.

I hope everyone is well today.

Looks like a cooler day today, I sat inside most of yesterday, too hot in the sunroom. I have a 10.22 appt. for my flu jab, 12.15 the hairdresser is coming then at 3pm I and 3 other friends are going to tea with a WI friend. Why does everything happen on the same day when my calendar is mostly empty.

Hope your OH's eye injection goes well and that he is not in too much pain after Daisy
It will be nice if your DD can see her before she goes. Enjoy your free day Gemini

That sounds like a nasty virus B is suffering from Oma, hope he feels better soon.

A jacket potato is very comforting Oma.

Just back from my flu jab at the local chemist. I prefer the nurses to give me injections, it did hurt more than usual, I felt it going into the muscle.

Hello, one and all (too late for 'good morning').

It's beautiful and still very warm here. I took a jacket to wear while I waited outside the hospital for OH this morning, but was too hot! He was in there for ages today, but I think there was a bit of a panic about a very frail elderly lady who was unwell. Anyway, we're home and OH is dozing in front of the telly. Thank you for all your kind messages - I'll pass them on, and Oma's hugs (thank you Oma!)

Plant - our chemist was very gentle doing our flu jabs yesterday. I do hope your arm isn't too sore.

Oma - I'm so glad B is feeling better - he'll be well enough to get up to mischief soon.

Gem - I do hope your DD can see your mum before she's discharged from hospital. Enjoy your free day, and I hope it's still warm enough to be out and about. x

Lizzie - hope you are getting the cooler weather. I always have two browsers on the go - I'm lucky enough to have a large screen so I put them up side by side. I prefer Firefox, but at the moment I'm using Opera and Chrome. I must reinstall Firefox!

I think I'll have a relaxing afternoon today. I didn't sleep well last night - most unusual for me - and I took Eva for a short walk before we went to the hospital so she'll be ok for today! There's always the ironing, of course, but I'm sure that can wait for another couple of months!
