Nanto - glad it went ok having your check up. It's never pleasant, is it. Plant - I hope your injection goes ok, too.

Gem - I keep forgetting to check my BP - it's sensible to do it every so often, isn't it. I bet you'll enjoy getting back to the library this afternoon. Enjoy the quiz tonight.

Galmm - have the roofers been? Sometimes we need a quiet day. I think you feel the cold more when you're tired as well, so stay snug and warm.

Plant - I had to laugh at GGD eating the cat food. I bet if mummy gave it to her for her tea she wouldn't touch it. You can't be too careful with tablets though, although I think paracetamol taste so awful she would spit it out very quickly. It's good to hear your sister is coping well. How is SIL's mother?

Oma - I hope everything went well for B. Your DD is so good organising presents and meeting with all her staff like that. It must be harder for all of them working from home for all this time.

I went and collected Cooper first thing and was back here before 9 am. Both dogs are being lazy today, so it's quite peaceful. I've spent ages trying to choose a protective cover for my new phone. There were 400 pages of them on Amazon. How on earth do you pick one out of that lot!!

Just off to get something exciting for lunch. Or maybe just a sandwich and some fruit. I don't feel inspired.

      Had two phone calls
First one they Bringing my new Premier inn Mattress on Friday ,
Then another call to say they delivering my new Chairs tomorrow .
Didn't expect either before Christmas ,

Now we have to jiggle stuff around ,
Dinning room chairs will have to go upstairs into spare room so we can put these arm chairs in Dinning room till I can sell them .

The Mattress on our bed is a Memory foam and still in fantastic condition and not very old so DD is having that .

I have been to aqua and enjoyed it, earlier in the day I got a message from GD1, with a link, could I please print it out for school as their printer isn't set up yet. I printed it out and said I would drop if off as I went to aqua, 'no nan, I am at school and can you bring it here at 3-15pm" Well of course I could! Got home from aqua, got dressed to go on the bike but didn't realise it was so cold!!!! I was there on time though so she can finish whatever she has to finish.

I have just read the secondary school here in the village is closing as there are far too many covid cases.

Oma, you will be pleased with the mattress and the new chairs.

Daisy, I know there are so many cases to choose from for the phones.

Gem, I hope it all goes as planned for Christmas.

        Glamm, I hope you got the roof done.';

Oma, yes, what we all do for the grandchildren, with pleasure. I knitted a hat last week, left it in the cupboard, I always have gloves in my bike bag, now just found a cowl to put in the bag as well.

Had a lovely phone conversation last night with GD1.
Caught up with each others news.

Oma, have you jiggled things around yet,to make room for the new furniture.

Good morning everyone. The sun is shining, and everywhere is white with frost - the first very heavy frost we've had this winter.

Oma - oh dear, your MIL will not be happy. At least she has somewhere to sit, but you did warn her about the Range's reputation. Good luck. xx I do hope the hospital can do something about your shoulder - you've put up with that pain for long enough.

Nanto - isn't it lovely when you have a good chat with a grand child - even if they are grown up, or may be especially when they're grown up.

We had an early start as OH had booked a 9 am slot at the tip and of course his car was covered in ice! Luckily he'd hitched the trailer up last night so we only had to defrost and drive off. I'm picking my friend M up at 10 am to take her to the hospital for her mastectomy. I feel awful that I'll have to leave her at the door and it will feel as though I'm abandoning her. I know she's frightened but will put a brave face on it.

Must go and get a shower - chat later.

Seen a lovely Dr gave me a Jab said it will take at least a week to have any effect , wont take the pain away completely but should make it bearable and give me a little bit of movement .
                    I hope so .

Daisy your friend must be so scared bless her I do hope it all goes well .

Oma, I hope you get satisfaction from your hospital visit. I hope the Range know what they are facing if they don't get that chair there soon.

Daisy, I feel so sorry for your friend having to face that alone.

Foggy and frosty here again but the sun is doing its best to pop through, hope it makes it today, it was foggy all day yesterday. I didn't have the jab for my bones, someone forgot to order it. I have booked a hearing test, not until Jan. My hearing has got worse I am sure and now one aid has come apart. I really need a sight test too, might give them a ring.

                        Good morning everyone.
Late start for here me, as we have already been out!
We went to Wilko for some more Christmas lights, and I have now lit and decorated the little twig tree made by OH which goes in the hallway.

Nan2, phone conversations are lovely when we can't get together.
Fingers crossed the injection eases your pain Oma. OH DEAR re MIL's sofa
Daisy, you wouldn't be able to go far with your friend even in normal times. I had to say goodbye to OH in the waiting room when I had my op. M will be glad you went with her. Sending all positive thoughts for her surgery and recovery.
How annoying to have the wasted journey for your injection Plant.

GS1 after school today. I think we will watch another Christmas film.

Have a good day and keep safe and well ladies.

Been a busy few days with our new puppy! Last three nights she has slept through the night from 10:30 until about 6! I’m also back in bed upstairs after being on the sofa the first few nights. We have a baby monitor so I can here if she whimpers. Got most of my Christmas shopping done online, just a few odd bits to sort out. Booked a Sainsbury’s Xmas delivery slot, couldn’t get a Waitrose or a Tesco they seemed to be booked up by the time we got back from Portugal. Got my Flu jab on Thursday afternoon now they are offering for under 64’s, not looking forward to that. Fog has at last cleared - we’ve had it since Sunday!

                              Hi Avo and Mimi!

Flu jab is a doddle Avo.

I have just had a nice outdoor cuppa with our friends C and P! They dropped off Christmas cards for us and my mum, so I invited them to sit in the back garden. It was lovely to see them and have a chat. Despite warm clothing, hot drinks and blankets C and I were certainly cold by the end. Worth it to spend time together though. OH is playing golf, so missed them

Oma, hope the injection eventually gives you some relief.
I bet customer services at The Range will know about it if they come up with the goods on time.

Daisy, hope all goes well for your friend.

Plant, a bit of a nuisance not getting your injection.

Gem enjoy the Christmas film with GS.
