I have a bell that plays different chimes, I must check if it has jingle bells. When I got back from my trip to GS's and farm shop. GD2 and partner were next door wearing masks, they have come for lockdown, they went for a test this morning until they get a clear (we hope) result, they will be wearing masks.
I am wondering when Daisy will hear the result of DS's biopsy. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Just had my phone call from Physio ,
I have to ring at the end of lockdown and they will make a face to face appointment and then give me a Injection to help ease the pain
She said nothing else they can do for it and it could take 18-24 month to go so a injection would or should make it bearable ,
At least im getting to see someone even if i do have to wait 4 weeks or soIm not fat just 6ft too small

Gem - did you get your leaflets delivered? Poor S, no golf. I can understand the Club House being closed, but surely out on the course itself is safe enough! Perhaps it's because they have banned other sports as well??
Oma - thank you for asking. There's not much to tell, but I'll update the Daisy's Son thread in a minute. xx
Plant - I hope the Zoom Zumba went well, and no injuries.
Mimi - I could add a great deal of excitement to your life if you lived closer. Tomorrow I have to clean out all fridges and freezers before the dog food arrives on Saturday. Such a joy, and I'd love to share it with you. xx How did the fireworks party go?
Oma - poor B. He's only trying to bring a bit of excitement into your life with all those chimes. Jingle Bells on repeat is torture. We've recently had a new door bell. It insists on Ding-donging twice - I might 'adjust' it one dark and stormy night. Thank goodness they are finally going to treat your poor shoulder - even if you do have to wait another 4 weeks.

Oma, at least something is happening, even if you have to wait 4 weeks for the injection.
A friends daughter had a 10 hour long operation yesterday. She had breast cancer 3 years ago, young, 45 or 46 I think she is. She had chemo and radio therapy, all went well then she had to go for a check up in another hospital and they discovered cancer cells, she had the breast removed yesterday and they rebuilt it by using a layer of fat from her stomach. My friend phoned to say she was in recovery after the long operation, now the waiting, they have to keep a very close watch on it so see if all the cells etc accept the move. It is amazing what they can do nowadays. I do hope that it goes well for her. She has been through so much already.

Good morning everyone. It's bright and sunny here, but there's been quite a heavy frost overnight. I'm glad I got most of the tender plants under cover yesterday!
Lizzie - I do hope your friend's daughter makes a good recovery. It is incredible what they can do these days. Maybe those techniques have been developed because of all the problems with silicon implants.
Nanto - I hope the fog soon clears.
As I mentioned yesterday, great excitement for me today, cleaning out and defrosting the fridges and freezers. Then, back out to the garden is I've got any energy left!
What is everyone else doing on Lockdown 2, Day 2?

Good morning all.
The fog started here last night Nan2, it was really foggy when I went to bed. It's slightly clearing now.
Lizzie, all best wishes for your friend's daughter.
Daisy I had had two very painful knee days with back pain too, and it was starting to improve yesterday, so I decided doing the delivery round wasn't such a good idea. We have only had the newsletters a few days so no rush. Busy day today, so I will do it over the weekend or on Monday. Hopefully OH will help me as usual and then it's half the work!
Two outings today! The first is to Sainsbury's for a Click and Collect as I couldn't get a delivery slot for this week. We will call at M&S where I have two parcels due and I am hoping will be there by then,
This afternoon is school pick up for GD and GS2, and back here for their tea and a play.
Have a good day ladies, stay safe and happy.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Oma - mmmmm ..... ginger cake! I haven't made that for years - but I love it.
Gem - a busy day for you without delivering leaflets, and you should be resting your knees and your back. Sainsbury's slots are going fast again. I got one late Wednesday night and I've booked one for next Wed as well as there wasn't much choice.

I love ginger cake too!
Daisy, supermarket slots are harder to get again. I couldn't get a delivery this week, but got the Sainsbury's C&C for this morning. We won't need one next week as it's Friday today. We can pop to the village for anything fresh we need in between, I got a Tesco delivery for the following Tuesday. I will try to get another delivery or C&C for after that.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
