Daisy, you certainly had a busy day in the garden.

Been very cold here today, but forecast for tomorrow is for plenty of sun and staying dry.
Did say there could be a touch of frost of tonight and tomorrow night.

Clover, pleased the roof is done. You can cross it off your list now.

Hairdresser came earlier than she said, i was just eating my rice pudding when she came.
Her last appointment is 10'o clock tonight, and 9.30 tomorrow night.

      Evening all...
Oma you have my deepest sympathy. I have some exercises given over the phone and I wondered if I am doing them correctly too! Quite frankly, by the time I go to bed I have to put myself into a Co-codamol coma to get any sleep. How about insisting on an X-ray?
Nanto2, I’m not going to mention rice pud in front of OH. It will give him ideas.
Daisy, it sounds like you’ve done a week’s gardening in one day. I’m giving you tomorrow off.
A frustrating day here, I was expecting a delivery (knitting machine and wool winder). The email came with a delivery time (lunch time) so I went out for a walk. Of course when I returned at 11.00 there was a note saying I’d missed it. The silly people had sent two separate parcels, the wool thingy came at lunch time and I missed the delivery email for the machine as it came while I was out, and delivery came 10 mins later! 🙄 Now coming Thursday. (I hope).
I spent the rest of the day cleaning my ovens and did a half hearted job on the study/sewing room.
Going out for lunch with ladies tomorrow, looking forward to that.
      Night night.

Nanto - hopefully we will miss the frost - at least for tonight. We're quite near the sea so tend to be a degree or so warmer. I really must get the tender plants tucked up though. We've got to go shopping in the morning as well!

Grauntie - I can't accept a day off tomorrow, but perhas I could have the following month instead?

How frustrating about your deliveries! Still your sewing room will be all spick and span and ready to welcome your new equipment on Thursday. Enjoy your lunch tomorrow.

        Night, night.

Good morning, we have new rules for Covid, not as strict as in the UK, but, our pool has to close for 2 weeks so no aqua for me Plant.

Daisy, the dry needling pain soon went, it does really work, it was just so painful the first few hours. I have to go to the library again later today, the people that can get access to the computer system are only there in the afternoons, part of the new rules is that libraries close for a fortnight. You did well in the garden before the colder weather sets in.

Clover, you will be pleased the roof is finished and the scaffolding down, even though they did damage the fence. Don't feel guilty about spending too much on line, as you say, we don't get to spend in the town shops at the moment. A shame about your GD and her uni, I expect it will happen so often with all that is going on.

Gem, pleased to see you got a window visit with your mother.

Grauntie, you will be soon be able to use your knitting machine, as for the sewing room, I do try and tidy mine now and again.

This was the temperature yesterday, on my balcony. IMG_8869.jpg

I will now try and find "My sister" thread as it isn't good news.

                Sunny this morning,but nippy.

Lizzie, pleased the needling pain has gone.

No specific plans for me today, apart from having a walk to the chemist to pick up meds.
Otherwise, will just go with the flow.

Good morning Lizzie, Daisy and Nan2 - and everyone else.

Lizzie, is dry needling something like acupuncture? As you say you can put up with some discomfort for a while it is helps in the long run.

A very cold morning here, with frost on the roofs The sun is out now so I think it will soon be gone.
No real plans for me today.

Have a good day. Keep safe and warm.

I asked about the dry needling, the needles are the same but they go for the muscle trigger points.

                    Colder here but no frost

You may not believe this, but, my first husband bought me a watch, about 44 years ago, it has been to hell and back, long ago my jeweller put a battery hour work in but as I can't wear anything tight on my wrist it has been in my drawer for years.

I was tidying up the other day and thought if I got 2 new links put on it I can wear it as a bracelet watch. We have a good jeweller on the market so I have just been, first she put a new battery in and it still works. He is going to make 2 new links on it and it should be ready next week. That is re-cycling!

I stayed up quite late watching the American election news last night. I know it take ages to get the final results as their system is plainly weird (my American friends agree) A close call so far.

I haven't paid much attention to the American election, not sure how long it takes to get a result.

I was up late last night watching the results of the election in America I dont understand the system really but was amazed at the amount of people on the streets a sort of carnival atmosphere not like here where you go and place your paper in the box and then go home very strange.
The rain has stopped here today, yesterday we had hailstones for half an hour they where like golfballs the noise on the pavements could be heard from indoors so there was no way Poppy and I where going for our walk in that weather.
Oma you have all my sympathy regarding your painful shoulder I am in constant pain with mine nothing seems to ease it !! 5.5 yrs now since my accident I must go after this next lockdown to see the specialist and see what he can suggest.
Daisy I was so weary after reading about your gardening you certainly got stuck in,I have 2 x fushia mini tree's in my front which have gone very thin and stringy will I be able to cover them up in my shed and have them pick up in the Spring or do they not recover ?
I have everything in that I need to get in for xmas just in case this lockdown extends over the 4 week period (one never knows) all the special cards I need and wrapping paper for youngsters and birthday cards as 3 of my grandsons have birthdays between early December and New Year and my eldest son on 15th Dec so many to remember.
                              Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

                                Well done Glamma.
I have certainly been using the credit and debit cards a lot this last few days! I have most things ordered now, some arrived already, some on the way.
I need to know what GD wants though. 11 year old girls are quite tricky to buy for. The Deathly Hallows silver earrings we bought her for her birthday were a great success, so I don't want to blot my copybook

Lovely sunny day here. Towels drying on the line. I have brought all the geraniums in pots inside now, hopefully last night's frost hasn't already done for them.
