You are such a clever lady Oma in designing a room. Pleased to hear B is not having to decorate the room.

Oma - it's a good job you don't want to redecorate the spare room! I think someone might have been a bit unhappy about that! xx The blue denim sounds a lovely choice - we'll need photos of course when it's finished.

Plant - well done on hitting top form in your bowls match! I'm pleased to hear Grauntie is keeping you on your toes with your online game.

Gem - I love turquoise as a colour - are you pleased with your nails? Have you finished packing yet? I'm sure a couple of hours with friends tonight will be lovely. I hope your mum is ok.

Lizzie - fingers crossed this time you've got the right medication to clear up the cystitis - you must be so fed up with it. What caused your Garmin to lose all its data - the temperature or the fact that you didn't use it for a couple of days?

It is still pouring with rain here. I certainly won't be watering the pots tonight!!

Plant, well done for winning at bowls.

Gem, hope the weather improves for your break.
Turned cool here this afternoon, and we have got the heating on.

Oma, in laws were well today thank you.

Lizzie, hope the medication clears up the cystitis.

Far from watering pots tonight I've had to rescue some plants from drowning! I've got a few tomato plants not quite ready for potting on and they were sitting in a large, fairly deep tray outside - until today when the tray overflowed with water and the poor plants were almost floating out of their pots. I drained them off as best I could and put them in the greenhouse to dry out and warm up again.

Thank goodness OH has managed to fix the tumble dryer because with this weather and the current forecast I don't think I'll be drying outside for a few days.

Nanto - I nearly put the heating on - it's certainly not warm.

I did resort to some heating. Watched a very very dull football match with SIL. I don't usually watch football, now I know why.

Your OH must save you so much money Daisy, he is so skilled.

Gemini, I hope you have a lovely trip, I hope the weather improves

Good morning, cooler and very dull, we had heavy rain for a few hours last night, I have just read that some parts of the Netherlands had a really bad storm with a lot of damage. I just read you were thinking of putting the heating on!!! It is still 25 degrees in here and will take a few days for it to cool down.

My cystitis has gone, yet again, see how it goes next week.

Daisy, it was the heat that cleared my Garmin, DS2 told me that there is a warning with the instructions, it was hot in the she shepherds hut as well. I have got it working again, I went for a short ride yesterday and it works.

As of next Saturday we are almost back to normal, no masks, everything open etc etc. We just need to wear masks on the public transport and at the airports. We shall see what happens in the winter.

Daisy, your OH must be very handy, I always told myself if I got another man he would be handy!!!! That friend here in the flat is very handy so I ask him to help if I can't do it myself.

I am sat here with sweat dripping off me, 95% humidity.

                    Good morning. Bright this morning.

Lizzie,we put the heating yesterday evening.
Glad the cystitis has gone, hope it stays away.

Today, we are going to the farm shop, then garden centre and we will eat there.
Last stop will be the supermarket.

                    Gem, have a good time.

Very dull here, not sure what weather we are expecting. I am going out to lunch with DD and Sil to our favourite pub/restaurant, not sure why perhaps because we can.

Very pleased Lizzie that your cystitis is cleared and hope it doesn’t return. No masks, wow, long way off for us.

Nanto, havre a nice lunch out.

                        Good morning everyone.
Thank goodness the cystitis is gone Lizzie. Those of us who have had it know who awful it is.
I hope you have a nice lunch out Plant and Nan2.

I have been lagging behind on the forum this week, I seem to have had a busy few days!
Although I am going on holiday today, I expect to be on the forum a lot over the next week - I'm sure much sport will be watched on TV, and I will be reading or coming online! I will catch up
We actually had a very nice time last night, despite the rain! Another friend had brought a gazebo with sides that she uses for outdoor art and craft exhibitions, so we kept dry and reasonably warm. No packing was done however
Plenty of time today though as we cant get into the cottage until 4 pm.
Sainsbury's delivery due this morning. Food to take, food for catsitter, food for cat!

Have a good weekend everyone. I will check in from my holiday cottage tonight

Plant is this the first time back at the Pub/Restaurant ? better than watching football

Lizzie so pleased to hear the Cystitis has cleared again , in that heat its the last thing you need ,
Im lucky like Daisy my B can turn his hand to anything apart from Wallpapering he is shocking at that

Its a warm sultry day already , I did two loads of washing very early this morning , then took a bucket and cleaned all paint work through and did my general Housework .
Hope to get the Headboard done today , I need to wait for wadding to arrive I had to order it on Amazon prime as the fabric store had none in , its arriving sometime today ,

I'm in no hurry though I still have to find something for the wall so that I can then get it all done together .

Gem have a safe Journey and we will see you on Thursday xxx

Good morning from lazy bones here! I woke up just before 7 and thought I'd have a few more minutes. Next time I looked it was nearly 9 am!

Nanto what a pretty graphic - nice and cheery for a dull, overcast and chilly day here. Enjoy your shopping and lunch out.

Lizzie - I'm so glad your cystitis has cleared up. Let's hope that's it and it won't come back again. I'm sure you're relieved your Garmin is working ok. I know my phone switches itself off if it gets too hot. It then needs recharging. The first time it happened I thought it was broken!

Gem - you have been a busy lady this week. There's also a lot to think about when you're going away, especially as you've got your friend coming to look after Henry. Time to relax and put your feet up while you're away. How long will it take you to get there? Yes, I'm afraid the weather forecast doesn't look great and the TV schedules are full of wall-to-wall sport! Safe journey this afternoon. xxx

Oma - you've done a day's work before I woke up this morning! I hope the wadding arrives and you find what you want for the wall so you can get on with the makeover.

Plant - enjoy your lunch out, whatever the occasion. OH watched the football, but wasn't impressed either.

I need to finish the housework today. Yesterday I got distracted by OH doing the tumble dryer and also sanding down and putting a first coat of oil on the wooden worksurface in the utility room. This is a job that's been waiting for ages. It's looking so much better after just one coat!

We also need to get our cars cleaned. Next door have been having their drive done and all the dust was blowing our way, so no point in washing the cars, or the caravan. They all look dreadful now, but a good wash will sort them out.

Daisy, that is what DS1 told me about the iPhone.

The dust is on my car from the few days away, I will give it a clean next week.
