Grauntie if I ever have bad dreams it always seems linked to me being in pain - tummy, knee, neck or whatever, so maybe your tummy ache was the reason last night?
I hope your hairdresser can keep going Glamma. So hard for small business owners.
Oma, how confusing about the testing.
Nan2, I hope your niece is OK.
Plant, definitely leave the sewing for now!

I have had a good day. I will write about it on the other thread.

Thanks WG. I read the label on the jar and it had milk, yoghurt and cream in it. Iā€™m allergic to all dairy food so that explains the ghastly symptoms. Will look at Tastesmiths.
How lucky you were to experience the different spice mixes.
Nothing achieved here, a complete waste of a day.

Grauntie - I feel your pain! I can't tolerate cream and am always suspicious of any kind of pre-made sauces.

Plant - oh the frustrations of that table runner. But stick with it - it will be great when it's finished. I'm sure the WI Zoom meeting cheered you up. I hope your GD1 hears about their flat soon.

Glamm - how nice to have a sunny, calm day. It sounds as though you enjoyed your little shopping trip. Your DD's colleague was very selfish to go into work unwell.

Nanto - I hope your niece is son better.

Oma - you wouldn't believe they could get test results wrong so many times. Glad he ended up on the 'right' side.

Wee Granny - estates agents' photos look much better with a nice sunny sky. One of our local agents got my DS2 to teach him how to drop a new sky into a photo! Those mixed spices sound wonderful.

Our power was only off for about half an hour, so no problems.

Brave ladies cutting your own hair, or asking OH to do it. Glamm - I keep chickening out of cutting mine, even though it's very long now.

Can't see anything exciting happening today.

Chicken, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and green beans for dinner. Oh and chicken gravy.

Wishing you all a good day.

            Good morning ladies.
Nan2, good to hear you had a better night.

The three GC are coming today. As we can't have family gatherings the only time I see all three together is if I look after them on the same day in the holidays.
No school work , they are free!
I have planned a treasure hunt around the house. They always find them very exciting. The older two are very good and let the youngest read the clues as much as he can, and help where he can't.
No other plans ,we'll take the day as it comes. Last time all three were here I hadn't ordered takeaway pizza for teatime. They handled the disappointment well, but it was there! It will be coming today

Have a good day everyone. February is more than halfway over!

Good morning ladies. What a welcome sight a real butterfly would be - thank you for the graphic one, Nanto. Glad you slept better.

It's pouring with rain again here, dark and dreary and everywhere is waterlogged/flooded.

Gem - have a wonderful day with your GCs. A treasure hunt is a great idea, and well done on the pizza for tea.

Sainsbury's is due in a few minutes and I'm going to jump in the shower and get dressed. Then we might be going out!!

Oma - coooeee - our posts crossed. have a good day.

Good morning everyone, we have the same weather Daisy, dull and rain forecast later, at least the snow had gone!

It is both my DIL's birthdays today, I am going to DS2 for lunch, a friend is there doing the electricity so it will be like a birthday party!

I was talking to a neighbour in the hall, she was waiting for her son to take her for her jab, I asked how old she was, she said 82, I thought she was about 76 0r 77, she looks younger and is active. She thanked me for thinking that!!

Gem, enjoy the day and the takeaway pizza!!!

Oma, your tables will shine now! I was going to clean through today but with going to DIL I will do it another day.

Nanto, you will feel better after a good nights sleep.

Those spices sound delicious where can I order them from I can't remember seeing the name ? I do enjoy a spicy curry as opposed to a hot curry if that makes sense.?

I was woken up early by the postman this morning 7.30 !! he was delivering the new steering wheel cover I had ordered to make my car a wee bit posh all blingy I am thrilled with it,funny the things that brighten your life isn't it.

DDs partner kindly delivers me the large box of cat food every fortnight which he leaves in my bin store for me he phoned me to tell me he had left them and when I opened the front door he had left me a beautiful tub of flowers for my doorstep he is so thoughtful,he bought DD flowers to cheer her up as she is still very cross about being track & traced .

I finally finished my wardrobe clearance yesterday and now have 9 pairs of shoes sitting in a box ready to go to the Charity shop when it opens they have freed up quite a lot of space, space that can be used for "summer stock"

Hopefully my eldest son will knock this morning on his way to the park with Willow I bought some of her favourite Teddy Bear crisps from Aldi yesterday she takes them home with her and has them after lunch for a treat with her afternoon milk.

My vitamin D tabs arrived yesterday curtesy of the Government they are so small so they are on my list to be taken every day for the next 3 months I will be rattling when I walk

My neighbour Jim is slowly improving he is sitting out of bed and eating and drinking and making conversation with the staff so I was glad to hear that ,they have just got to get a care package for him when he comes home, they will be a better person than me if they can get him to agree as he is so independent and hates people in his home .

I'm going to get out the ironing board thingy and get on with some ironing whilst I feel in the mood, maybe someone will phone me and distract me you never know ?

Talk soon take care my friends xx

Oma, thank you for asking about my GS3. He is still at home working on-line to finish his Masters. He is now applying for jobs, not much luck so far. The company GS1 works for would like to offer him a job but they have been told not to take on more staff atm. I am really missing him and his brother, who is looking for an apprenticeship.

WG have you found anything you like to buy in this area? What sort of property are you looking for?

Glamm, I hope your neighbour agrees to have some help. I know you are very kind to him. I am not very good at clearing out clothes, well done. Steering wheel cover sounds good, is it a fluffy one?

Nanto, pleased to hear you slept better, your dinner sounds good as usual.

Lizzie, enjoy your lunch with the family.

Gemini, you are going to have a busy day with all the GC, hope they enjoy their treasure hunt and the pizzas.

Have a good day everyone, I am running late as usual, roll on the summer.

Glamm, if you Google tastesmiths, you should find their website.

Plant, there's not a lot on the market up your way at the moment, but we've seen a couple in Tyler's Green which look quite interesting. Don't want to be too far away from DD and she has very strong ideas about where we should/shouldn't be looking!!!

Beautiful sunshine earlier, now it's pouring again. Thank goodness I didn't hang the washing out!

                          Enjoy your day ladies x

Tylers Green WG that would be good. Nice friendly village, I like Holmer Green too. Not Hazlemere or Widmer End. Kingshill is quite nice. My DS and family live in Naphill, they like it there.

I poked my nose out a few minutes ago as it was nice and sunny but there was a cold wind.

Plant - it's so hard for youngsters job hunting at present, but your GS3 is such a personable young man, all he needs is a video interview. I wish him lots of luck.

WeeGranny - you only need one house to be the 'right' one for you, so I'm sure you will find the perfect place in a good location.

Glamm - you are steaming ahead with things. Well done on getting your wardrobes sorted ready for a shopping spree in the Spring. I'm pleased to hear your neighbour is making progress. Do you think he will realise he needs some extra care or will he try to go it alone? For his sake, I do hope he bows to the inevitable, bless him. Your Sunday lunches will be a big incentive. xx

The rain stopped, the sky cleared and a big yellow thing appeared in the sky! Wonderful. It seems ages since we last saw it, and it's quite warm outside.

Plant, the problem with Holmer Green is that there are lots of families wanting to live there because of the schools!
