Has anyone else been to the Weald and Downland museum where the Repair Shop is filmed? If you are ever in West Sussex do go, it is wonderful! There are many buildings brought from other locations and rebuilt there. I haven’t been for a good few years, but will revisit in better times.

Well it looks as though The Wirral is set for another lockdown the local hospital has reported 4 deaths since Tuesday so very scary again.
I was intending on going for Birthday Breakfast with my Angela tomorrow morning but have cancelled the table booking its just not worth the chance is it ? I'm just hoping people don't go daft and congregate over the week-end adding to the numbers who could become infected.
The weather is lovely here and this morning I have planted some mini carnations into my big tubs for the front garden along with 2 x ready planted hanging baslets from You Garden which I purchased on line for BOGOF offer on their site they are really full and look amazing now they have hung for a while.
Gems so pleased your mum is well so good to hear.
The repair shop was also one of my John's favourites I really like the 2 x bucket chairs and the coffee table the colour was striking.

Thats not good, Glamm, it just shows we can’t be complacent and should still be taking all precautions.

Ive had a very busy morning....gave the car a good wash and brush up and have just cut the grass, feeling worn out but very pleased to have got those two jobs done. Going to,have a restful afternoon.

Grauntie - I vaguely remember going when we lived in Worthing in the 1970s - it was very new then and a work in progress, but it would be great to go again now. It's not actually that far from us, so perfectly doable for a day out.

Sat outside in the sunshine with a coffee,before having a mooch in the farm shop.

Bought some lovely Christmas cards, the ones with GD, Mum and Dad on the front.
Bought a lovely one GD and hubby.

Went to the cafe, it was a limited menu, so instead of our usual hot beef sandwich, we got steak and mushroom pie.
I didn't eat the chips,but the pie was lovely.

I just had a lovely phone chat with my ex, who rang about my mum. I feel so lucky that we are good friends.
This morning we have set up the hedgehog boxes again ready for hibernation. Out with all the old straw plus the leaves, twigs and bits of plastic they drag in. In with nice fresh straw. Up to them now what they add!

Grauntie, my DS1 and family have visited the museum a few times whilst staying in Brighton. They loved it!
Nanto, the same DS would be having the pie as well!
Glamm, I think we will be heading back into lockdown the way things are going, our village was even on the news this morning, not a good thing.

Grauntie, I am going to The Weald and Downland Museum tomorrow with DS, DIL and GS2. I went there many years ago with my kids when they were young and another time on a school trip as a helper. I enjoyed it both times. I’m looking forward to it for tomorrow. I think my GS2 will love it. It is supposed to be a nice day and we are taking a picnic.

Sunshine - what a co-incidence you're going to the Weald and Downland Museum. I'm sure GS2 will love it. Did you go there when you were in Worthing? I can remember going (it was much smaller then) but OH can't, so I think I either took visitors there or went with a friend???

Off to take his Mam to Dunelm at 10 then back home ,
B woke with a sore throat and earache this morning and a runny nose so dont want to be out too long
