Good Monday morning, Nanto and all who call in later. It's a beautiful sunny morning here as well.

I need to do a few jobs round the house before the Sainsbury order arrives at lunch-time. OH is going to a funeral early afternoon, and it's our weekly group dog walk this evening. I think this will be the last one at this time because it will be almost dark by the time we've finished. DS1 has to go up to London today for his Covid test. Not a nice journey - DIL is taking him but obviously can't go into the hospital with him.

Good morning. I like glittery pic nanto! Sunny here again, so will be mostly outdoors enjoying the sun.
Have a good day all and Daisy, hope your son is ok. I hate journeys to London as I cannot abide being stuck in traffic. It’s years since we’ve been.
my back is ok now and thank you to everyone who showed concern. I think I’m finally over my fall from last week.

Such a lovely bunch of ladies on this forum. X

              Good morning lovely ladies.

Lizzie, I think I would feel the same way, longing to get back to things, but afraid due to the situation.
I hope all goes smoothly for your DS today Daisy.
Poor B, I hope he feels better soon Oma.
I'm glad you are over the fall FQ, no more falling!
Oh WG, sorry to hear how you are feeling. Take care.

This afternoon is the start of my library volunteering. It is to help customers to understand the new way of doing things due to covid, and the new building. Only 3 allowed in the room at one time, socially distant queuing outside, must wear masks unless exempt. Point them to the sanitiser, wipes etc. We are not on the bus, as no way could social distancing be observed. I will take my Kindle as I don't know how busy I will be. As the library only reopened last week fairly I imagine.

Such a lovely day. OH is doing her occasional gardening job for the elderly couple this morning, and I am out from 1 until 5, so no time for us to go anywhere together.

              Have a good day everyone

Oma, what a whirlwind morning you have had, I am still unwashed and still finishing breakfast. I do intend to clean the bathrooms today and might attack the half-finished border. I hope B's cold doesn't last too long, I wonder where he picked that up.

WG, sorry to hear you are feeling down and tired after your holiday.

FQ pleased to hear you feel you are better now after your fall.

Morning Nanto, love the graphic. I love jacket potatoes.

Plant, I’m doing the same, unwashed and undressed. Lovely day here today, but I ache a bit after all my gardening yesterday so think I’ll give it a miss today.

WG, so sorry your feeling tired after your holiday. Hope you got my pm, and hope you fell better soon.

I need to go and pick up a prescription from the chemist so I’ll do that and maybe a gentle stroll up to the park and back.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

Weather is lovely here as well.

WG, hope you feel perkier soon.

Oma, i cleaned the bedrooms as well. Bedding washed dried and put away.

This morning i downloaded Microsoft Edge. I was using Opera.
Then friends called in, so only just round to sorting Edge, i think it looks ok.

Daisy, hope all goes well for DS1.

A fairly quiet afternoon at the library, so I am able to enjoy the sunny garden between customers.
DD3 has a bit of a cough, she doesn't think it is anything, but we all agree it's not wise to go hospital visiting. Neither of her sisters can go today, so I am going to see mum at 6.30.

Gem, I'm sorry DD3 has a bit of a cough, but definitely wise not to visit your mum, but at least it gives you another chance to visit her in the relative comfort of the hospital. I'm sure she'll be delighted to see you again. xx It's great that your library is opened and well-organised.

Nanto - I think Edge is supposed to be good. I'd be interested to hear what you think.

WG, I'm so sorry your week-end away hasn't recharged your batteries. Sending hugs.

Plant and Enfys - you've both been very busy - you deserve a lazy day or two, or three.

Fairyqueen - I hate traffic jams, too. DS1 lives closer to London than we do, but you just never know with the traffic, and parking is always fun!

Oma - poor B. It's surprising how badly a cold can hit you, and I hope B's getting lots of sympathy. Give him a hug from me, please. x

DS1 phoned about half an hour ago. The Covid test and blood test went ok - the hospital is well organised, even to a sort of air lock door and a sterilised pen to sign the consent form! DIL has booked a parking space in an NCP car park near by and the journey up there only took about 1 ½ hours, so not bad at all. Just waiting for Thursday now for the cranial angiogram.

OH is back from the funeral. He and 13 other friends formed a guard of honour outside the crematorium gates which the family weren't expecting. OH and Co didn't go into the crem at all.

I'm off for our Monday dog walk in a few minutes - it's a lovely afternoon, but hopefully it won't be too warm for the dogs. We can reroute to get into the shade if it is.

The pharmacy phoned to book us in for flu jabs - tomorrow morning! I don't think I've ever had it this early in the year before.

Daisy, i'm liking the Edge browser so far.
                          Reminds me of Internet Explorer.

Just in, OH has gone for fish and chips!
Mum was tired tonight as this was a late visit for her. She was fine though and looked well.

Gem - so pleased to hear your mum is looking well, despite it being a late visit for her. They do wake you up early in hospitals, don't they! Fish and chips - yummy!

Natno - That's interesting about Edge. Internet Explorer was the last Microsoft browser I used before I switched to a Mac! Perhaps they've realised sometimes the older ways were better!
