Good morning Nan2, Rainbow Bear and Daisy, and everyone else of course!
Another lovely day. Tomorrow is the first day OH and I are both free, but it is forecast to be a lot cooler.

My only plan today is to collect GS1 from school and bring him back here.

        Have a good day everyone.

(Our posts crossed Oma. best idea not to go to MIL's until B is better. Send our love (to B, not MIL!) )

Morning all. Oma, I am sure your ironing is perfect, you get enough practise. Hope B will feel better soon.

My Flu jab is tomorrow Daisy. Not a good week for J, all needles for him.

I need to make a crumble this morning, apples are coming thick and fast. The apples are cooked, just need to make the crumble. Then it is a toss up between the garden and clean the other bathroom. I would like to pop to a garden centre later to pick up some pansies and some bulbs. I am not showered and dressed yet so need to get a shift on. Will pop in later.

Good morning...just. Had a busy morning so far. Spent ages on the phone sorting out the car insurance now it has to be in my name, but everyone very helpful so that’s done.

Last night just before I went to bed the most enormous spider strolled across the carpet, brazen as you like. Now, normally I’d have screamed and P would have dealt with it, but I still screamed and dropped the only thing I had to hand, my Ipad, onto it. So then I had to wait until this morning and Chloe came round and dealt with the body, bless her. She doesn’t mind any sort of creepy crawly and I was just so glad there was a body and it hadn’t escaped to goodness knows where. So this morning, I’ve had all the furniture away from the walls, all the cushions of the chairs and sofa, gone round with Spider repellant and hoovered everything. They’ll still get in, I know, But I had to do it. I don’t mind, crane flies, beetles, worms etc but just not spiders!!

GD has just gone for a run but will be in this afternoon and is Going to help me do a few jobs. Bless her, she is so helpful.

Hallo everyone, soooo warm here, I have been out on the bike and had a lovely lunch by a lake, a bit warm on the way back though, they say 35+. I have been to the doctor this morning, I have an ache under in my stomach, had it a few weeks but thought it would just go away, it didn't so I phoned the doctor this morning and I could go straight away, she said she wouldn't be able to see what it was but would have an examination, she pressed exactly where the pain was! Now I have to go for an echo on the 29th and hope it is nothing serious.

Good afternoon Ladies. Another warm and sunny one in Manchester. 3 on the trot can’t be bad! Not doing much today after all my pansy planting yesterday!
lizzie, sorry to hear about your ache. Glad that the Dr saw you quickly. Good to hear NHS is working again and not just fixated on cv19. Try not to worry - I know it’s a daft thing to say and easier said than done. I just got my bowel cancer screening test notification test today. Not looking forward to doing that as I have IBS. 😟

Thanks, I hope not. Have to wait and see. GD1 just called in, she has an afternoon free so gets on her bike and comes here, we went to the village and I treated her to an ice cream! That is what we grandma's do!

Natno - That's interesting about Edge. Internet Explorer was the last Microsoft browser I used before I switched to a Mac! Perhaps they've realised sometimes the older ways were better!

                            [/QUOTE]

Daisy, i'm really liking Edge. I have been using Opera for a while, but i think i prefer Edge.
We still have Internet Explorer, hubby uses it,but IE finishes in January.
He doesn't like change where computers are concerned.

                            In laws were fine thanks.

Enfys,we had a big spider the other night. It was too quick for hubby.

Nice warm sunny day,but i think the forecast is for it to turn cooler from tomorrow.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Fairy Queen, yes, from Yorkshire, I have lived here almost 51 years, we have health insurance, expensive but works well and good health care, up to now anyway.

The Edge and Opera? should I know about these?

After a short spell in the garden and 3 crumbles made, I went to the garden centre I use. I wanted some pansies and some bulbs plus a pair of lightweight garden gloves. I stopped for a coffee and a sandwich. When my food and coffee arrived, an assistant came to me and said they needed my name and phone number for tracing if another customer became infected with the virus with a week. They were only taking that information from people in the cafe area. Apparently they have to do it but I haven't read that anywhere.

Enfys, I remember after my OH passed away, I didn't see my dining table for a month or so. even though I used a solicitor to sort things out but he wanted the information from me. Fortunately my OH had left everything in order.

Lizzie, if you don't have any other symptoms, the pain might be a strain.

FQ, poor you having IBS, good idea to be screened. I think Gemini has IBS.

Almost finished my latest knitting project so I have just ordered some more wool for a sleeveless cardigan for me.
