Oma, I'm sure your lovely neighbours appreciate having you and B as neighbours, when they have all that hassle to put up with. Such a shame for them.
We decided that the family member who is booking that days visit is the only one to phone each morning. They are busy enough without extra calls for each patient, so DD1 phoned today. She said they seemed very rushed so she'll get an update when she goes this afternoon.

DD2 and SIL have a 75" tv! They have a big room though.

Its quite a miserable day today here on The Wirral I am expecting a visit from my eldest DS and my GD they always call in on a Thursday as he does the child minding shift whilst DIL is at work they stay outside on the front garden and she plays with Poppy before they carry on to the swings.
Oma I can relate to you GS growing up so fast yesterday my eldest DGS John called me from Liverpool 1 to ask where he could buy a quilt cover & quilt (JL & Debenhams right by him) he has moved into his first flat he is 30 next month and whilst he has house shared at Uni he has never had to buy stuff for his own place so tomorrow I am off to treat him to a couple of nice throws for his lounge.
Talking of DGSs youngest Luke has been so good this week and weeded all my front & back garden and "brushed" the back garden for me I am going to try and find a garden hoover for him I may look at local facebook pages. He has just heard that his place at college is secure for his 3 year course in Engineering he is over moon as is my DD and his brothers and sister he is the baby of the family and they have all done well with their work choices. My DD has done so well bringing them up on her own and holding down a full time job so proud of her.
Enfys well done on your Asda trip things will get easier I promise you and expect some days when you just need to sit back and relax somedays I do nothing for the day and don't even switch on my laptop just take your time sweetie.xxx

Glamm, well done to your daughter bringing the children up on her own, I know for one how difficult that can be at times.
The children seem to have done so well, you can be proud of her! GS will be pleased with his place at college, are they allowed to attend or is it all on Zoom?

Lizzie48,I'm not sure about the Zoom aspect as yet but I do know he has to go next Friday for induction between 9am-12pm that is if things don't change again since the new guidelines that are to come into force on Monday 14th !!!.
Yes the DGs have done very well eldest went to Uni in Liverpool and then his brother (11mths younger) went into engineering and is now doing his masters at Uni along with his full time job at Land Rover he wants to become a lecturer of engineering so I am so proud of them.

Good morning everyone. It's lovely and sunny here at the moment.

I was out bright and early again to fetch Cooper over here. After a hectic morning they're both asleep on the landing, so I've got a couple of minutes peace!!

Enfys - it must be so hard and painful at the moment - but you're are coping very well. I hope Asda wasn't too busy so you could have a wander round. Is that the huge one just off the Wessex Way? I've only been in once and wondered if I've ever find my way out again!

Glamm - you have a wonderful family, and you're entitled to be proud of them. I'm so glad your GS has got his place at Uni.

Oma - your neighbours are very kind. I suppose the lady immediately next door doesn't realise what she's doing when she's shouting and swearing at them. I'm glad the cat is being well-cared for.

My OH's next eye appointment is next Wednesday, the day before DS1's angiogram.

Gem - I hope school pick up goes smoothly. Your new tv sounds just right! What a good idea for your mum's visitor of the day to check on how she is.

WeeGranny - enjoy your little holiday. Perhaps it will help your sleeping patterns to get back to normal.

Well a busy day but all went well. Took car in for its service, all ok just needed new wiper blades. Another milestone for me, and another job ticked off the list.

A lovely surprise today, a beautiful delivery of flowers from one of the lovely ladies on here.......WG thank you, I have messaged you 😍.

DD and I are just looking at booking a week away in a cottage in Devon just before Christmas......might be just the two of us....and Dexter. She’s just checking her holiday dates. 🤞

                          Great news today.
My daughter who broke her back in a riding accident six weeks ago, had a meeting with the consultant.
He is very pleased with her progress and says she can remove her (uncomfortable) back brace. She can also drive. She is to have physio and must take care with twisting, bending and lifting. From October they recommend she does Pilates.
They expect her to have a full recovery. She has been extremely lucky in the circumstances.
