Well it’s nearly good moaning from me!
For some reason I have to log in at every visit again. I think it must be a setting on my new iPad but I can’t see what. Hence posting has been infrequent.
Not much in the way of news this end, oh yes, except for the demise of poor Choc the rat. At least he had gone home.
I want to do something exciting with my garden and I’m waiting for inspiration to strike. I may be waiting for a long time.
Still knitting, I bet Plant has finished two jumpers in the time it has taken me to re-knit, yes, re-knit my effort. 😬
Glad to see you are all behaving nicely, I wish you all a peaceful night.

A very quick good morning from me, as I need to get showered and dressed, otherwise the day will be half over before I'm ready to greet it! I'll read back on posts later, but hope everyone is well.

Oma, pleased to hear you are feeling stronger, take care.
Gemini, good news about your DD's test result.
WG, I hope the pills and sleep cured your headache.
Grauntie, I have knitted about a third of my GGS's jumper. I didn't do any yesterday, I had a painful neck and think sometimes it is caused because of tension when knitting. Good luck with your knitting, you didn't say what you are knitting.
Oma, the warfarin clinic appt, was not until Sept. as my readings have been good but I now have one for next Monday as on Tuesday I am having the BCC removed from my face and they want my warfarin reading in case it is too high.
Going to M&S food hall to collect a parcel today and then to Hobbycraft to look at their material. I also have to pick up some bananas and sugar, I have decided to make some jam with the surplus of plums. The Vics are starting to ripen but there are still quite a few purple ones, I have to shake the tree to get them down. I suppose it is because we had so little fruit when I was a child that I hate seeing fruit go to waste. I am going to meet with some WI members next week, I am sure they would like some.

Gem - your poor DD. I don't want to be the prophet of doom, but I hope it wasn't a false negative - I don't know what the 'failure' rate is for the test, but I do hope she's ok.
Grauntie - I'm sorry you are getting logged out. I'm not sure why, but things you can try are: make sure cookies are turned on, clear your broswer's cache, ask your browser to save passwords for you. I'm not sure if this applies to your current iPad, but another thing to check - if the tab bar is dark you might have enabled Private Browsing which means cookies aren't saved. Tap the overlapping boxes icon (Upper right in Safari) then tap on Private which should have a white background, to turn the background black. The hit Done, and hopefully that's it. If none of this is any help go to Apple and have a live online chat, and they should be able to talk you through it. It's a problem which seems to crop up with iPads for some reason.
I'm still playing catch up today. So just off to cook dinner.

I hope not too Daisy Especially as the rest of us as in DD2 and family, OH and I, are continuing to see people, with social distancing. I have been to the shop today (with mask and via self service check out) and had 2 friends here. We can't all isolate ourselves just in case though!
