A dull one here but no rain.

Oma, DD had her test last night and said although not pleasant it wasn't nearly so bad as she had feared. She said she felt GS aged 7 would be able handle it should he need one, which she had been worrying about. All we can do is wait now. At least DD2 and I have worked out that if we have to isolate for 2 weeks from when we last saw DD1 (Friday) we would be free the day before we each go on our holidays!

No plans for me today. I was to have GS1 for the day, but in light of his mums covid test, he's not coming.
OH has golf. I may start the newsletter round. We haven't had any to deliver since lockdown. They came with a pair of plastic gloves, and and an assurance that although they would love them out, they understand if volunteers don't want to. I said we would but haven't taken them yet. Our copy only dropped through our door yesterday, so I'm not running too far behind!

We've got a rather watery sun but it's already warming up. We hope to see our GDs this afternoon, all being well. I need to get showered and dressed and get on with a few jobs first.

My long awaited haircut at 2.30 so looking forward to it .

Didn’t sleep at all well last night I was watching a film till 5am then went to bed , up again at 7.30

Oma and Daisy, about 48 hours for the results they said, but fingers crossed it may be today.
Daisy, it will be lovely to see the GDs, I think we all appreciate that even more after all the weeks of not seeing them at all.
Oma, you will feel better with each day, and the haircut will give you a boost too

Hair is cut and I feel human again , she rang to see if I wanted to go in earlier as she had a cancellation so I jumped at the chance

DD1's Covid test was negative I didn't expect her to get the results back today,as she had the test yesterday evening. Thanks for all good wishes ladies.

It’s raining here now after a dry though overcast start. I managed a walk and got back as the first few drops were falling.

I’m Zooming with the family soon so must get set up and comb my hair 😀

Gem that’s good new about DD’s test. Quite a relief when it comes back negative.
Oma I bet you feel like a new woman after your haircut. I’m put off going because it’s growing quite nicely and I quite like it being curly!
Have developed a splitting case today so have taken some painkillers and hope the room stops spinning soon.
