Lizzie - what a pity your neighbours don't water their plants. I bet you have to do yours at least once a day. How lovely to get out for a bike ride, and a cup of coffee. I bet it tasted wonderful.
I've just remember someone kindly asked about my OH's eye a couple of days ago (Oma, was it you?). He's got an appointment on Wednesday for an injection - the first one for two months. Hopefully the weather will be ok and I can sit outside and wait for him.
I'm pleased to say the weather's a bit better this afternoon - it's not raining anymore!

Daisy, my auntie is still having her injections. She said that is literally all they do at the moment, none of the usual checks etc, just inject and go!
The plants which our friend has given us is one we already have in our garden and OH was planning to thin out and get rid of a lot !! We didnt mention this to our friend as she already had some ready for us to bring home. I am going to ask the family if anyone wants them!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Lizzie - I can't leave a plant looking dry and dejected either.
Nanto - after a dreary start, the weather improved here and we are being treated to a lovely glowing sunset.

Lizzie, that was one of the things I loved about living in Holland, the flowers! No matter what season it was, there were always flowers available. When we came back here,I had to take my pot plants to somewhere and get a certificate to bring them back. The movers had all the hanging plants on a rope in the back of the van! Apart from needing a good watering they all survived the journey. Your baskets are beautiful!Believe you can and you're halfway there.

The start of a new week.
A social day for me today, with some housework thrown in too!
My reflexologist is due at 11.
This afternoon our friend who is the artist/composer/music teacher is coming round. We have seen her few times since her mum died, but not at our house. Now school has broken up she has more free time for a few weeks.
